We had another great night out at the Maverick, which puts on live bands at the weekend. Not a restaurant. We watched FoneyFolk last night, a great local folk group. The beer was excellent and the atmosphere excellent. It is a cowboy themed pub with great choice of real ales. A proper pub, no food, although they sell cobs, which are soon sold out.
Fantastic value , tasty and yummy !! Brill and friendly service , we have been ordering food every Friday for quite a while now, and it now is a special occasion for the family every week !
Nit so good. Lovely fella and all that, have a coupla free coke zeros (not wanted but, hey). Massively salty, if it was supposed to be crispy batter it was chewy dough. Good size portions, his coulda bought it and cooked it for a fiver out of Iceland and missed out on the salt. Disappointing from the TA reviews I'd read.
Cracking selection of craft ale and some lovely stuff on tap as well for you to take away. Can be a bit pricey, but then that’s just normal for the types of beer they sell which is pretty tasty and a nice treat!

Me my grandad and my Nan come here when ever we come to Burry town. I highly recommend the hot chocolate. When I have my hot chocolate I have the chocolate cream on the side because I don’t the cream in my hot chocolate. My grandad has a strawberry iced latte. and my nan has a cup of tea.
The fish burger was completely burnt but still took nearly 20 minutes to cook the food
No improvement in 3 months since the last time i went .never again
Personal amable y voluntarios. Hay actividades durante la semana para participar. Asistí brevemente al grupo 'Knit and Natter' y disfruté aprendiendo a tejer. El café sirve comida, elaborada con productos cultivados en su distribución local. La cafetería sirve comida y bebidas a precios razonables y los niños comen gratis. Son ecológicos. Es realmente una joya escondida.
Struggling to find some lunch but so happy I found this place . Great food with a smile . Lovely cappuccino No need to look elsewhere you won't be dissapointed

Attended here for a gig by Gnod. Its just outside Bham city centre (easily walkable). Its in a mini industrial/business area but once you are inside its made special by the people who work/ ?volunteer to keep this space functioning.......loved it!xxx
The Vintage Fryer prides itself on being a traditional 1960s style chippy. It cooks in beef fat which makes for flavoursome and crunchy chips. The fish is available in 3 sizes and the batter is light and crispy. I like the flavour of the fish cooked in the beef dripping, a friend isn't so keen. The black pudding fritters are well worth a try.
It's only a small place and for the most part, food is cooked to order. If you're in the mood for great fish and chips, give it a go.
