This is a lovely little café and a fantastic asset to the Headless across area. Food is homemade and yummy, we love the Victoria sponge cake! The usual range of coffees, teas are a little limited and beyond canned drinks, there’s no cool drinks on offer, which is a shame during the heatwave (and why it’s 4/5). However, it’s a great spot to unwind in a cosy atmosphere, it’s just be great if they could also cater to the summer weather!

My son was invited to his friends birthday party here. When we arrive a table was set up for the birthday girl and hwr guests. They had hot chocolate in vintage tea pots and cups and a cake stand full of cakes, sandwiches and other afternoon tea delights. Towards the end of the party they also had jelly and ice cream. I stayed while they partied and treated myself to a scone and my daughter a cupcake. Both were delicious (well...i cannot comment on the cupcake as that was polished off by a satisfied 4 year old !) This is a lovely little cafe. From what i could see a varied menu of sanswiches hot and cold, cakes, and breakfasts etc. The food other people were having smelled lovely. There were also some toys, games, puzzles and books in one corner which i thought was a lovely touch. Would definately visit again.

A great find. Really lovely staff. Couldn't have been more welcoming to one of our number who was in a wheelchair. Went for Sunday lunch. Good choice of menu. Plenty of food, enormous yorkshire Puddings lots of veg. Very reasonably priced. Good village pub. No car park but plenty of car parking close by within a few minutes walking.

Friendly staff, affordable beer and a quiz on (most) Wednesdays - what more could you need from a local?

Cinnamon bun cappuccino was delightful but the quality of the food was extremely poor for the price.

Fitted us in at the last minute. Bar staff were amazing. However be warned the drinks are next level!! No watered down alcohol here. I do however need to go back to apologise for our drunken behaviour.

Best bacon chop I've ever eaten. Steak and ale pie just as good and the sticky toffee pudding for afters. Superb. You must try out the new additions to the menu
