Nit so good. Lovely fella and all that, have a coupla free coke zeros (not wanted but, hey). Massively salty, if it was supposed to be crispy batter it was chewy dough. Good size portions, his coulda bought it and cooked it for a fiver out of Iceland and missed out on the salt. Disappointing from the TA reviews I'd read.

I’ve been to this takeaway twice since moving to the area, once alone and once with my boyfriend. Both times we’ve received free drinks and have been greeted with nothing but lovely energy and warming smiles from the man serving us! He’s such a happy soul and we felt so uplifted after visiting. The food is also spot on and haven’t had a problem with either of my orders. We cannot recommend this takeaway enough as I’ve never seen one like it❤️❤️❤️❤️

You cannot find another takeaway that offers such great value for money in Rugby. Food is always served with a smile. Best takeaway in Rugby.

Excellent service, every request is 'no problem ' being able to make adjustments to the dishes to get it just how I like it really works. Only downside is that they only take cash but the food and service make up for that.

We visited after a recommendation from friends, The menu is extensive and the food is brilliant. You also get a free can of drink each with your order. The chap who runs it has been serving takeaways in Rugby for decades, he is very chatty. A down side for them is parking is difficult, however they will pay any parking tickets,

It was cold had to dine with my coat on. The food was nearly ok. Served on burnt cabbage which tasted awful crushed new potatoes was a large slice of jacket potato . 4 people dined there was a 16minute difference from main course service then when the first 2 had nearly finished their meals vegetables arrived we thought the horrible cabbage was the vegetables but we were wrong so it was nearly 30 minutes after the first plates arrived that vegetables were Served . It wasn't even very busy so no excuse. Very expensive for what was a basic tarted up pub meal. Won't return. Overall very disappointed .

Waves is a true gem for fish and chips enthusiasts. Their consistency is unmatched, and every visit feels like a warm, familiar treat. The batter is perfectly golden and crispy, encasing beautifully flaky fish, while the chips are always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pair this with their impeccable service and you have an experience that never disappoints. If you're looking for a spot that serves classic fish and chips done right, Waves is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality and reliability in every bite.

Great venue, it's clean, it's tidy, the bar staff are kind and helpful. The food is always quick and very enjoyable. It's recently been taken over by new ownership. Please go and check it out and support them, we've been 3 times (maybe even 4) since it's been taken over. Thank you 😊
