Visited for the 1st time as heard good things. Staff were friendly and drinks/cakes tasty. Only let down was no 4G and poor WiFi

Quite like bewiched. In rugby, it is next to costa coffee, a chain i have a soft spot for. However, i often have my pooch in tow, and straight away bewiched one up Costa by being dog friendly. The staff are always pleasant and polite, and quite often give my dog some fuss. Coffee is pretty good, not quite as good as Costa, but not far off, and the range of food is decent. My sone tells me the milkshakes are also "bussin" (i guess that makes them good?) As mentioned in other review, cleanliness is kept on top of and the venu is well maintained. Worth a lok for a brew, especially if you have a dog in tow :)

It was cold had to dine with my coat on. The food was nearly ok. Served on burnt cabbage which tasted awful crushed new potatoes was a large slice of jacket potato . 4 people dined there was a 16minute difference from main course service then when the first 2 had nearly finished their meals vegetables arrived we thought the horrible cabbage was the vegetables but we were wrong so it was nearly 30 minutes after the first plates arrived that vegetables were Served . It wasn't even very busy so no excuse. Very expensive for what was a basic tarted up pub meal. Won't return. Overall very disappointed .

Waves is a true gem for fish and chips enthusiasts. Their consistency is unmatched, and every visit feels like a warm, familiar treat. The batter is perfectly golden and crispy, encasing beautifully flaky fish, while the chips are always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pair this with their impeccable service and you have an experience that never disappoints. If you're looking for a spot that serves classic fish and chips done right, Waves is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality and reliability in every bite.

Great venue, it's clean, it's tidy, the bar staff are kind and helpful. The food is always quick and very enjoyable. It's recently been taken over by new ownership. Please go and check it out and support them, we've been 3 times (maybe even 4) since it's been taken over. Thank you 😊
