Went for family meal last night.
We had different starts…goats cheese with beetroot, sauteered mushrooms and prawn lollipops. Followed by rib eye steaks and fillet steaks. Deserts of ton mess and cheesecake.
Food was excellent. Staff were super and efficient and friendly..
this was our second visit and will be returning in the summer.
Lovely evening and ambience was super and relaxing.
Thank you all.
Absolutely beautiful had a carvery my son had a chilli dog and said it was the best place ever he wants to come back again he’s 9.. staff are so lovely and welcoming atmosphere is lovley .clean
We chanced it here as the place we originally wanted to go couldn't seat us and I'm glad we did. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing (2for£12), the atmosphere was great as were the staff. We've been previously when it was Klay, but now under Pig & Pitchfork.
UPDATE: went for a lunchtime meal at the restaurant, service was friendly and efficient. They didn't take card though, only cash.
Ordered Pad Thai and Fish Cakes via Uber. Authentic taste and good value. Would order from here again.
Green’s Bar in Solihull is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great night out.
The service is exceptional—the staff are friendly, attentive, and truly go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.
And the cocktails? Simply outstanding! Expertly crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Whether you’re after a classic or something unique, the bartenders really know their craft.
Green’s Bar is the perfect spot for a great drink, great vibes, and top-tier hospitality. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!
While the restaurant certainly had its merits, certain aspects fell short of expectations, particularly regarding the authenticity of the cuisine.
On the positive side, the staff were professional, attentive, and ensured our meal was served promptly. The ambience of the restaurant was also pleasant, creating a comfortable dining environment. Furthermore, the ample parking available was a definite convenience.
However, the food proved to be a mixed bag. My anticipation for a fiery Tom Yum soup was unfortunately unmet. The addition of coconut milk resulted in a rather bland flavor profile, lacking the characteristic spiciness and tang I associate with an authentic Tom Yum.
The Pineapple Fried Rice and Chicken with Basil were acceptable, though they didn't particularly stand out. Disappointingly, the Crispy Pork was quite dry, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the dish.
Overall this restaurant offers a pleasant setting with efficient service and convenient parking. However, those seeking truly authentic Thai flavors may find some dishes, like the Tom Yum soup and Crispy Pork, to be underwhelming.
