The best restaurants in Westbury East Wiltshire South West

I never really leave a review, but this place is a hidden gem 💎 the staff are absolutely amazing and the food is next level. This prices of the food were fair. I honestly have no complaints. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be coming back.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, tasty food and good value on the midweek early evening set menu, which had a nice range of options.

Wonderful breakfast and company. We had a lovely breakfast experience with customers who are regulars but enjoy banter.

Me and my partner recently moved to westbury in the last month and have already been back twice! Delicious food always delivered quick or picked up quickly. Staff friendly and welcoming when collecting food would definitely reccomend!! ☺️

Lovely pub, rooms great. Only downside is they don't serve food in the pub Monday and Tuesday 😔

I like this place very much. Excellent cellar man. Great selection of beers and they are kept in superb health, so I have to be careful not to drink my pint straight down. But I often do and order another. Which is ok because the prices are more than fair - best around. The wines are really very good, too. And I'm fussy. A proper, no-nonsense boozer. My favourite these days for miles around. Treat yourself and go.

Went here with friends for my birthday. Upon arrival we couldn’t get inside as it was very very busy and very very loud. We were shown to our table in the restaurant, the waitress was really lovely. She recognised immediately that it was absolutely impossible to hold a conversation or hear yourself speak as it was so loudly, why do people have to shout at a table?? The waitress offered to move us, which she did to a quieter corner off the bar area tucked away. The food was decidedly average. Again the waitress was fantastic and rectified the issues as they arose, but still to be served cold food, and food that was mainly fat and the remainder very tough meat just is a shame. As said the service was great but at that point my husband had been put off his food, so ended up without really eating. Then unfortunately to cap off the experience the pub dog was unwell, right by our table. They clearly didn’t bill us for everything we had, which is good, but we would much rather have had a good experience and paid full price. With regret, we probably won’t be returning..

A few weeks ago for my birthday we placed a massive order for over 10 people. The guy who answers the phone always provides excellent service. The food was made in a good amount of time, and it was all piping hot. Everyone loved it, everything was delicious and tasty. I obsess over the curry sauce! We order here every month and won’t ever go to another Chinese again. Much love lads!

Food is lovely highly recommend the munch box great service and atmosphere. The only issue I found was the food was rather greasy.

Lovely little pub with fireplace, restaurant and garden area. Dog friendly.

If you are in Westbury and want a cheap meal deal (thick sandwich or baguette, cake and coffee) pop in here. Look out for other offers. The shop has some breakfast bar and few chairs to stop and eat in.

Amazing meal! Everything was so delicious and staff were attentive and friendly. We were curious to try authentic Indian chai and they made it for us especially, even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for a great evening out! Didn't have room for dessert after my starter and main, but will definitely be trying their tasty menu next time.

Ive been on this planet fir 58 years, £9.20 for a full english breakfast (i wanted fried bread ... an extra) + tea (extra) ... over cooked, nay cremated plate full of s**t arrived, bacon that i could have re soled my shoes with, fried (what with a thermal lance?) eggs, all massively over cooked (and i like my stuff well done) - THIS IS THE WORST AND POS MOST “FE” ive ever ever had .... ate the beans, nibbled the fried bread, attempted the bacon n sausages YUK ... wont ever return,

Avoid! We ordered from here as our usual Chinese was shut due to them being on holiday. What a mistake ordering from here was! Was told on the phone it would be 30-45mins delivery time, just over an hour and it arrived. Salt and pepper chips were tiny portion and looked liked they had been thrown on the floor and then put in the container. Chicken balls had so much batter, half of which was raw batter on, I had to take all the batter off them and just eat the tiny pieces of chicken that were inside them. £45 wasted on rubbish food. I will be glad when our usual Chinese takeaway is back open!

Called in on the way through Westbury, not expecting anything special. It was simply amazing. Freshly cooked fish without too much batter, fabulous chunky chips that weren't soggy & the best mushy peas I've had in a long time. You will not be disappointed and also very good value. Will definitely return!
