The Angel in Wiltshire

I like this place very much. Excellent cellar man. Great selection of beers and they are kept in superb health, so I have to be careful not to drink my pint straight down. But I often do and order another. Which is ok because the prices are more than fair - best around. The wines are really very good, too. And I'm fussy. A proper, no-nonsense boozer. My favourite these days for miles around. Treat yourself and go.

It's ok, if you have children you have to sit in the back room which is a shame.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere and good selection of drinks

A responsible landlord who always ensures the safety of his patrons. Delicious fresh hops. Sparkling clean premises with pool table and music box and Glamorgan facilities. Benches outside to people watch. Opposite Morrisons. Car parking for 1 hour free, in the car park just behind the High Street, a short walk away from the pub itself.

More people should try this place out. It looks dark and uninviting from the outside but it's a nice friendly place to go for a drink.

Only 5 stars when Matt is not working. 0 stars when the racist that left Salisbury after getting kicked out the Tories and entered Westbury because an uncontested seat was available. Fantastic atmosphere when Neil and Derek are behind the bar. Sadly Matt is a racist that accused travellers of stealing the Salisbury poisoning bench.

A proper pub in Westbury with a fine selection of cask ales kept in superb condition - an ale lovers paradise! The landlord Matt and all of the bar staff are very friendly and welcoming - certainly a pub I'll continue visiting more often!

This place was great once,then it changed for the worse,now it's back AGAIN, great little boozer,great ale selection,open mic on Tuesday evenings.

Very welcoming and delicious refreshing pints. I particularly enjoy the live music on Tuesday nights. The musicians are very gifted.

Stayed in Westbury for a couple of days as a visitor and received a warm welcome in this pub. Great cider, good times.

Once one of my favourite pubs in Wiltshire, you can relax and watch football or enjoy a game of pool and the prices are reasonable. Would like it to return to selling good pub food again, having Friday night band nights and for it to be busier. I am looking forward to Moles Brewery injecting a bit of energy into this place and turning it into somewhere people regularly want to go.
