The best restaurants serving British food in Westbury East Wiltshire South West

Went for Sunday lunch with family. Delicious and reasonably priced roasts and children had chicken burgers that were equally enjoyed, and flexible with alternative to chips. Lovely puddings too.

Lovely quaint little pub. The food was amazing. My daughter had the ribs followed by sticky toffee pudding whilst I had the chicken Milanese followed by the lemon posset. Very tasty and plentiful. I would have loved to have given full marks but unfortunately a few things did niggle me. The only check back we got was from a beautiful black Labrador that just sat at our table whilst we ate, not ideal although I love dogs. I get that you are a dog friendly pub which is fantastic but not to roam around the pub aimlessly whilst people are eating. On leaving there were no outside lights on the car park which was in complete darkness therefore my daughter stepping in one of the many massive potholes full of water. Be lovely if these could be addressed.
