This lovely, welcoming vegetarian cafe is well worth a visit. A jewel in Beaminster and loved by locals and visitors alike. The four of us were warmly greeted and offered a good sized round table. The 10 year old with us declared the creamy scrambled egg on toast as the best they had ever had. Beautiful granary bread for the cheese & pickle sandwich and avocado bagels were delicious.

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. It was a Monday and most of the cafes were closed and the few that were open had only cold food so it was great to find somewhere serving warm food. Look for the orange sign on the square or outside the cafe. The cafe has artwork and crafts on display as well as books and is light and bright.

What a delightful evening learning how to make a door wreath. A lovely welcome with snow suddenly falling over the entrance ! The wreath making demonstration was informal with everything supplied to make and design your own wreath after tucking into a scrummy snack menu and mulled wine finishing off the evening with a mince pie ! Just perfect !!!

Went for a Mexican and half price cocktails on a Wednesday evening. Mexican is cooked in a van in the car park, but served in the bar/conservatory - excellent food (real cutlery but takeaway boxes). Stayed for one night: very comfortable beds and well appointed room (room 8). Excellent breakfast including buffet with cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit and berries, croissant. Also a good selection of al a carte cooked breakfast options. Bar staff in the evening and at breakfast were super friendly, efficient and helpful.

A superb cafe with great food, we stopped on our way through & we weren't disappointed & would recommend & return. Coffee was great & we both had toasties, cheese /ham & goats cheese/red onion chutney, both delicious with coleslaw & side salad & the most delicious homemade salad dressing, I meant to ask what it was before I left but got distracted on the way out by the lovely shop at the front of the cafe! Highly recommend.

This is by far the worst Indian Meal I have ever had ! AND NOT CHEAP ! I ordered a takeaway meal consisting of Naan Bread, Chicken Shashlik, Chicken Madras, Rice and Sag Paneer + Onion Bahji. All dishes without exception were awful, too salty, un- spicy little chicken in the Madras, in the case of the Shashlik burnt ! Naan bread was like rubber and was thrown in the bin along with the over cooked inedible Bahji's, the Paneer was watery and tasteless with more Sag than Paneer. Two years ago we ordered our Christmas dinner from here and the food was delicious, and have been back several times. Although not as brilliant it was at least edible ! I understand there has been a recent change of " Ownership " ? The interior seemed run down and unkempt, dirty mirror and glasses behind the counter and dirty carpets. This place has certainly gone downhill very quickly, I will not be visiting again !!

Been here a few times now, once in the summer at night, once for a late morning coffee and cake and yesterday for lunch. Each time we have been we have had a warm welcome. The food has been really good at really reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
