What a delightful evening learning how to make a door wreath. A lovely welcome with snow suddenly falling over the entrance ! The wreath making demonstration was informal with everything supplied to make and design your own wreath after tucking into a scrummy snack menu and mulled wine finishing off the evening with a mince pie ! Just perfect !!!

A lively and bustling restaurant with polite and friendly staff. The food can best be described as casual, with a mixture of sandwiches and plated dishes. Lovely range of options, relatively expensive but good value for money. That have found a niche in the market and are very successful. Many thanks to Laura our waitress.

Delicious! We both went for the Boxing Day sandwich. Absolutely massive and amazingly tasty! So big we couldn't finish one of them so our super helpful server Laura happily boxed up half of it for us. Will definitely be going again!

Bacon brie and cranberry sandwich was delicious and a good size! Busy but managed to fit us in which was fabulous. Staff very friendly. Christmas songs were great and put my sister and I in a great mood. Obviously had to have cake to take away. Thank you back soon. Xx

Its such a shame this been our preferred family breakfast meet up for ages. but …. standards are slipping guys!! Change in management showing unfriendliness, chatotic service and mistakes. last 3 visits- off milk, egg shell in persian eggs, forgot to put order through You have a gem of a place needs the efficiency and friendliness of the old manager though!

I purchased an Office Pass from here, which is a great offer they run for remote workers. You can purchase a day pass for £10, which includes a nice comfortable, quiet workspace, with unlimited tea, coffee and water, plus 20% off any food you buy. I got loads of work done - nobody bothered me or pressured me to buy anything. I think it's a really great idea. They also offer a monthly pass for £35 (to use Tuesday through Friday) which is a ridiculously good deal when you add it up. It definitely helped me to have a change of scenery for a few hours to get some work done without the distractions of home. And much nicer than sitting in a Starbucks or Costa as the environment is much more welcoming. They also light the fire during the winter months making it even cosier. I will definitely be going back!

We were looking for a place to go for breakfast that wasn’t the run of the mill chain pub or restaurant. What a wonderful find. The staff is very welcoming and it is truly service with a smile. We both ordered our breakfasts and we didn’t have long to wait. The food was hot, top quality and enough to satisfy any appetite. They make their own baked beans and they put others to shame. Thank you Katie, Laura and Zalie for your service. Finally, we discovered we could take out cakes. Delicious!

Excellent food and drink, service a little slow but seemed quite busy. Drinks and cakes only. Parking bit of a nightmare for our motorhome, exit same way as you come if higger than a car due to weird exit from carpark very narrow

Booked an afternoon tea with friends and it was my second time visiting. The food was amazing and the service from Luke was outstanding. He was helpful and friendly which was lovely to see in a young man. There was what you would expect and want on the tea; finger sandwiches and scones, lovely fresh cakes, but there was also avocado on toast with feta, corn fritters with chilli jam, and yogurt with fruit and nuts. I will definitely be back to try the brunch or lunch menu.

It’s the second time we have visited this restaurant and both times have not been disappointed! The staff were very welcoming and very efficient ordering and serving out food to the table. We all chose different food and and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Visited The Grange for a delicious meal. Absolutely amazing service and wonderful food. Beautiful location and the people who work here go out of their way to look after guests. The cream teas are also AMAZING! Best hotel and restaurant in the county!

I must say. I've been all around the uk having fish and chips. This place is lush. Its in my top 3. My only criticism would be. Use different curry sauce. You would be number 2. But apart from that when we are off to Devon from now on. We will be popping in.

Food was mostly good but not worth the money. Staple menu items like fish and chips and sticky toffee were great. Fancier items such as the stuffed cod and scallop starter (£19!) were disappointing. Quirky setting in railway carriage. The cocktails were very good.

Very nice traditional pub. The food is great and well cooked. I ordered a lamb and it was delicious. Probably it even better in summer time because there are tables outside

Really busy Easter Sundsy but we managed to find a table and buy some drinks. Service was good and we loved the atmosphere/ambience of the bar. A lovely characterful pub. We will return.
