The best restaurants in Bushell Teignbridge South West

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, no pressure from staff to quickly order eat and leave, it's a great place to meet with friends, date night or a family lunch, the only downside is it can get very loud at times, with music and then people noise over the top of it makes it hard to hear your own company, however, when visiting with an SEN relative they turned the music down a bit when asked and are very accommodating to the needs of others and I have not had a bad meal there, my favourites the nasi goreng, bang bang cauliflower or a simple burger.

Really bad service & disorganised. Two young girls working who clearly needed some supervision on how to run the place. We were only customers in shop, party of 8. Food was brought out at different times with over 1hr 45mins between the first persons food & the last person's being brought to the table. Waffles & pancakes were brought out ages before savoury food & drinks. Waited to eat savoury first not expecting it to take so long & therefore waffles & pancakes were cold. Will not waste my money going there again. Very disappointed.

The worse Chinese take away I have ever eaten My partner and grandson all had a variety of dishes which all tasted bland and watery Definitely will not use them again

Went to look at kitchens and was looked after by Jemima, what a breathe of fresh air to speak with some one that’s knowledgeable and helpful and looking forward to the planning stage with them now 👍

We found this place by accident when shopping and we went in for breakfast it was lovely and value for money staff were amazing could not do enough for us certainly will be going back next time we go in to town

Food is good but second time now they have missed items first time a veggie curry promised it back never received in future order as they said they would. Now just ordered to nisa local and forgot the rice not a big issue. But when u tip and order regularly it's annoying. Food is nice though but 2nd time now an item hasn't been sent I've paid for.

Excellent little cafe. Good value for money. Generously filled sandwiches freshly made. Friendly staff and plenty of room Support local if you can ✊

Definitely one of the better Chinese takeaway places in newton. The salt and pepper prawns were very good.

Pass by the chain coffee shops and pop in here. Based in the market. Serves great local coffee and all the cakes and lunches are homemade. Family run business. Great friendly staff.

We found this place a few years ago and always treat ourselves here for lunch which is always very tasty. It's the same lady who still serves up delicious dishes from chicken satay to chow meins and Singapore noodles which again satisfied our bellies. We also like the mix and match she offers so you can try 2 of the dishes instead of just one. Very nice.

Popped in as I was passing. I haven't been in here for about 18 months or so. The general layout seems to have changed a bit. The cafe looked clean, bright and airy very few customers in. Staff were friendly and polite. I ordered a coffee and bacon sandwich. I'm not sure what strength the coffee is but it was unbearably weak. My bacon sandwich arrived with the sandwich placed on top of the napkin.....why? This only serves to make the napkin greasy. I wish cafes would stop doing this! I don't think the bacon was grilled, as it was quite tough.. Sorry Knotts deli I'm off to Orsinos next time I'm in town.

Well, what can I say... cuppa tea for 2, £4 quid. That's good. Decided to have a piece of bakewell slice each, the smallest piece we've ever seen, left on the counter, with people hovering over it, £2.50 EACH! Too say I'm shocked is an understatement! Should of gone next door to the bay tree! Visit at your peril!

The Newton Abbot franchise needs to retrain their staff. One staff member was so rude at first I thought it was a joke! Cold sandwiches and even colder service. Made sense as to why the shop was empty.
