All local meat and freshly cooked. Served with a smile. Plenty of pastries, cakes quiches and pies. Really good value.

We order from here, they deliver to us (out in the ‘sticks’) every time I’m so happy with the food, they are great.

It's cheap. But it doesn't mean it must be so low quality. You enter your room through cheap plywood doors, ones you install as a temporary solution on the building sites. Room was cold as old not maintenated rooten window had broken lock. And as it's a sash window, it was open throu the night. Standard heaters were not enough to keep you warm so you have to use privided by them - I kid you not - industrial blower. It's as loud as hair dryer and you are force to either sleep with it on, or wake up cold and possibly with a flew. The bed has dip so big on side side I rolled downhill somehow through the night from the ether flatter end of the bed and woke up with backpain. It was refurbrished by somebody who clearly either didnt care or had no clue how to do it. Mould in corners, cracks, not finished surfaces, absolutly cheapest possible materials and approach to build it. I mean, it's not hotel room but cheap cheap accomodation for workers. I was tempted by good pub reviews and hoped I found a good room in good price. Boy was I wrong.

Popped in at lunchtime to see that the cafe had a new coat of lockdown paint, which gives it a fresher feel. The half breakfasts were great - proper toast and nice banger and bacon. Plenty to eat and not expensive.

Outside seating undercover so dog friendly. Inside seating spotless We always plan to have something new from their very extensive menu but.... the breakfasts are just so good that despite visiting almost every other month, A No % breakfast is a must. Amazing value for money, good quality sausages (the standard we judge every breakfast by) and always piping hot. Nothing fancy, more of a working cafe but spotless and great food at a fantastic value. They also do delivery and are very popular.

Went here with my younger sister recently. The ice cream was ok but the guy kept staring at us both and it made us really uncomfortable. We won’t be going again.

Cake selection good and tasty. Just a pity about state of seating area. Half of the tables look tatty as do the chairs. Half of seating area needs a refurb.

Singapore Chow Mein is my favourite. We've never had a bad meal from this takeaway, tried others but are lucky to be local to this place.

Brilliant service for our Commemoration of Life. The food was delicious and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble for Meg and her Team. They made all of our guests feel at home. I would highly recommend the Preston for your event.

We decided to dine here for my son's birthday and we were pleasantly surprised at the professionalism, service and discretion from the staff. The food was really well presented and tasty too. My son gave it 10 out of 10! Waiting staff were attentive in serving, clearing and checking our expectations. We had a cake & candles, which staff kindly offered to prepare and present. This was a lovely touch. Thank you to all involved in making this experience so memorable on such a special day.

A great place to eat, great beer and cider and the landlord is a fantastic bloke! You will love the place!

Regularly order from Busy Bee, but noticed the food quality/ taste had deteriorated. Ordered tonight & don't know if there is a new Chef, but the quality & taste was fantastic with all we ordered. Please keep the standard 🙏 👍
