Great value for money, foods pretty good, nice staff, friendly place

I went for a meal on Sunday evening with my family. One of my grandsons is Autistic and just wanted a plain burger bun and chips. It was no trouble at all. They even made his Candimania with the ice cream in one bowl and the toppings in a separate one. The food the rest of the family had was fresh and filling. The table we reserved was clean, the atmosphere was good too. It was a lovely evening.

Come here on a regular basis. Great food and extremely quick service. Thanks to Jemma for looking after us. Will be back soon

IRYNA WAS FANTASTIC SERVING US AND IT WAS NICE AND QUIET, SO WE WERE ABLE TO ENJOY OUR FOOD.

We came on Christmas day and have to say everything about the whole experience was spot on. Very very well organised

Easy to park on arrival, the premises looked tidy on entry and tables were clean. Staff were friendly. The food was nice and worth the money we paid however I did find a hair in my food. It was close enough to the edge that I could push the food it was on to one side and remove it to finish the rest of the breakfast. We had barely taken a bite of the food when a member of staff came back over to ask us how our meal was. Apart from the hair and being asked way too soon if we were enjoying the food, the experience was pleasant and I wouldn't refuse going back again. Given the opportunity I would happily meet family and friends in the Bell Inn, Yeovil

Came in today and loved the atmosphere. Decent priced pints, attentive staff and plenty of parking. Will be returning!

Had turkey but it had a terrible taste it was soggy salty and chemically. Tables sticky.

Had breakfast at the Bell this morning, service was amazing. The lady behind the bar was so accommodating, polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

The pub staff were great and accommodated all the modifications to the meals we requested (lots of fussy eaters in the family). We are a family of 7 and despite so many meals to prep, the food was served quickly and all food was hot and very tasty. Great value for money, child and family friendly. Just wish we we lived a tiny bit closer so we could visit more often.

Starting this off by saying it wasnt all bad and there was one lovely staff member that did try to correct the situation. Went out with my mum and boyfriend for some food and drinks halfway through having the food and almost finished a pitcher i got rudely stopped midway eating by a member of staff demarnding to see my id now this is after i had already finished the pitcher given to me this member of staff is called merlin and he didnt ask nicely at all im 26 and dont look at all under 18 and was not asked when given the drinks but asked when they had been finished and i was in the middle of eating so i did as asked whilst making a comment of its a little late now as the drinks have been drank to be asking for is. I got out my purse to show my id merlin then demanded i got the id compleatly out to show him the back as clearly he must have fault it was a fake. Once he had got it out of my purse and checked it he haded it back and stormed off back to the bar there was no apology given by this staff member called merlin. He ruined mine my mums and my partners entire evening by how rude he was i would not recommend going there to anyone anymore. My mum takes her learners as shes a care worker to there all the time and after this she probably wont again it was beyond uncalled for and extremely unprofessional for merlin to have approached are table whilst eating like this and again we had already finished the drinks and im clearly 26... i think he needs training on how to approch customers correctly lets hope this issue gets corrected and merlin gets spoken to about the way he approaches customers

We came in for Christmas Eve lunch and was greeted by the most loveliest of elves who took us to our table. She was friendly and nothing was too much trouble when I asked a billion questions about our festive menu lunch. The table was laid out with crackers and a cute table cloth. It really made it special. Our festive menu meals were good value for money and, we all finished our plates. The other staff we all in great spirits and were super friendly. Shout out to the young lady who helped me with my son's fruit shoot and to Iryna and the other lady who cleared our tables. We will definitely be back again and I will be booking the festive menu on Christmas eve again!

We visited Sunday 22 nd for breakfast with Santa. We had a lovely time. We had a little gift pack for each child to sit and do while they waited, with some nice little puzzles and a headband to make. All the staff were happy and attentive. And happy to help at anytime. Santa was good and spoke to the children lovely and made them feel happy. Lovely experience thank you 😃

We had breakfast with Santa this morning it was a lovely atmosphere, out little bot enjoyed meeting santa getting a gift and having the table decorated with activity pack and chriatmas crackers. Iryna provided a lovely service.

Went for festive meal,very pleasant,staff very friendly and helpful, service was very good and clean and tidy

3 out of 4 at our table had a really bad stomach ache after with many trips to the toilet! The beer was flat and they were blaming the taps. They refused to put the heaters on outside blaming the cost, it's December so its cold! Not a good pub

Attended for a mid week meal with friends. We have been a few times but honestly do not know what happened this time. No gluten free desserts, dispite ordering it. Meals turning up stone cold, then replacements not turning up st all. Ordering wine paying for it, the it not being on stock. Food missing side dishes. Desserts melted when arrived, not that they were particularly edible. Lots of refunds and no true apology.

I pop in around twice a week for r breakfast Top of the range...the staff always happy and polite one staff member Iryna is always cheerful...

Came in for some Christmas drinks with my friends. Great vibe and the staff were super nice and helpful. Mikey in particular was great! Definitely will be coming back in the near future!

I live locally and have eaten and drank here many times.The experience is always the same which is good with frenindly staff but I have found that you are better off ordering the simple meals that are often fried as meals such as roast dinners can vary so much and sometimes disappoint.I have to admit though that with a roast dinner it can be almost impossible to keep everyone happy. That said the reason I am writing this review is because today I took the risk of ordering the Xmas dinner and sweet.The dinner was perfect( I even asked the manager if they ad changed chef) and the sweet was also perfect.I don't write reviews,ever!Im now leaving a very, very happy customer. Well done all.

We come here weekly and sometimes at least monthly. We always have a mixture, mostly breakfasts. Every time we come in the staff are always so wonderful and attentive. The value for money for the food that comes out is always spot on and this place really is somewhere nice to go on a budget. Today i was served by Harry and other regular team members and their service is always 10/10 for us.

Just popped in with my husband was greeted by a lovely member of staff called Jemma. Our food came out quickly and had great service from the staff.

The Bell Inn, a pub to visit. Staff were friendly and professional, the pub was clean and staff were quick to clear up after leaving guests. The food was excellent and made even better with the Friday special 'BOGOF'. All left with very full bellies and not an empty wallet! The place was tastefully decorated for the festive season and it was really nice to see the local community Xmas present donation point filling up nicely. We were mightily impressed with the condiments dresser, setting all food places could adopt. The outside seating and play areas were good and clean and the carpark was very well lit. The only low point was the bowling lane, very tired and turned into a junk room. Overall, highly recommend and will visit again if in the area.

We had lunch at the "Bell". Delicious burgers. Thanks to the chefs. Also a big thanks to Iryna for excellent service. I often come here to eat and Iryna is always smiling and friendly. It's nice. Iryna is a valuable member of this team.

The overall experience was disappointing, primarily because the food, which was the main reason for our visit, fell far below expectations with bland flavors and poor quality that did not justify the price. While the service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting with a charming ambiance, these positives couldn’t make up for the lackluster and unsatisfying meal. Ultimately, the poor food overshadowed everything else.

Friendly and pleasant staff, in particular Jemma. Service was timely considering they were quite busy. Recommended.

Nice little pub, run by the same landlord as the Armoury. Very friendly place with a pool table and a juke box. Wandsworth beer which is ok. If you’re in the area give it a try. Certainly one of the better pubs in the town. I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food.

The Bell is conveniently located away from the town centre. A warm welcome from Jemma on arrival & shown to our table. Great food & service all around.

Visited this pub twice today as visitors seeing a show at Westlands. Good value for money money - you get what you pay for. While in the garden during the afternoon, all the staff in evidence walked back empty handed despite there being several dirty glasses which weren't ours. Also drinks were poured with one member of staff wrapping her hands around the top of our glasses - and then we met Ruby. Thoroughly professional, efficient and a credit to the business. While many members of staff were helpful, she shone in a league of her own. She needs promoting and other members of staff could learn from her 'can do' attitude.

Iryna was brilliant at resolving the issue we had with one of our party’s meals. She was friendly and helpful and resolved the problem by agreeing with the manager that we could have a free dessert as compensation.
