Cake selection good and tasty. Just a pity about state of seating area. Half of the tables look tatty as do the chairs. Half of seating area needs a refurb.

Always a nice place to go when Grandad visits, brings back old memories of taking the kids out for tea. I had haddock and chips, both excellent.

This restaurant is situated at Palmers Garden Centre on the Western edge of Yeovil. So it's handy for Montacute House or the Houndstone Retail Park. It serves a fairly standard "Garden centre" menu, and is certainly popular at lunchtime. People clearly eat early in Yeovil, because at 12.00 it was already busy - clearly following the Southern French maxim of "En Midi, on mange a Midi". I had an excellent steak and mushroom pie (pastry a bit soggy, gravy may have boiled-over a bit...) with freshly cooked vegetable (excellent carrots...) My partner (vegetarian) had the grilled goat's cheese salad. Salad was a bit iffy (but garmished with fresh raspberries - where do they find those in February...?) but two huge slabs of goats cheese roule. Garnished with wholemeal bread.

We eat here about once a month. Food consistently good, cakes to die for and friendly service. Wide range of regular dishes and daily specials mean you can always find something you fancy.

This is a lovely place to go if you want a cup of tea, a snack, a breakfast or lunch. We popped in today and had tea and scones. I myself had fruit scone my wife had cheese scone. Oh my they were delicious. Moist warm and plenty of butter to put on them. We like this place as a drop in it is convenient as we only live 5 minutes away

Skip. Strangely rude and hostile staff. Treated customers with contempt. Seemed content with the Instagram kids on their front patio and no one else. Keep walking.
