Fresh fish and chips friendly staff on the sea front. Nice place to sit outside. Price invludes a drink too clean i would recommend them to everyone

Popped in to the George for a drink and a meal. Although in hindsight we should have booked it was busy. The person who served us Jack was accommodating and did everything to help us enjoy our meal, the staff generally were polite and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening. Thoroughly recommended

We booked a table and was really looking to a good meal as we had been before but unfortunately the service was very slow and we had to go to the bar several times to ask for drinks, water and ask for the bill. The food was nice but small portions even for the veg and mash. Other tables were also left looking for a waitress to order drinks etc and there was empty tables so not as if you can blame it being really busy. Unfortunately we did not feel looked after and for something that was a birthday treat we are sad to say we would not return or recommend.

Disappointing, I had a small black americano which was fine, but my partners latte was cold.He didn't want to make a fuss so drank it straight down. We then waited over 40 mins for our 2 breakfasts. I had bacon poached eggs and toast, was hoping at £8.95 there would be 2 pieces of toast, but only one cold piece, bacon ok, but one poached egg solid. My partner had similar, but scrambled eggs. His toast was also cold.

Tasty and perfectly cooked Sunday lunch/roasts with excellent starters and desserts. The service was superb, all of the waitresses very pleasant and personable. Great quality food at a reasonable price.

A bad experience all round. We booked for Valentines. We arrived and had to interrupt staff to say we had a table booked. Tried to order steak for one nope only for two. The shared starter arrived…….clearly for one. My partners main came out mine did not…… we were told sorry been a mistake. Ten minutes later my food had still not arrived so we decided to get the bill. They apologised and gave us my partners meal for free. I’m going to have Nachos for tea…….’Happy Valentines’!

Possibly the worst lunch I’ve ever eaten ordered a sandwich and had to send it back got refunded I was offered a free pint but have to share my lunch with my wife

We’ve just returned from a fantastic evening work gathering. It was yet another wonderful meet-up with Buddy and the Flying Fish team. The food was absolutely delicious, The atmosphere was amazing, And the owners are the friendliest, most customer-focused people you could hope to meet. It’s easy to say this is our favorite spot for a Sunday roast or an evening meal. We’re already looking forward to sunny, warm days when we can fully enjoy the stunning views and the excellent beer garden. Highly recommended to everyone!

Purchased food in here a couple of different times, a positive I'd like to point out straight away would be that they always seem to have minimal ques. Althought I do wander if this has something to do with the high prices. My son just wanted a regular chips and it was £2.50 which I think is extremely cheeky high price. The standard of the food across the board is piping hot and tasty very enjoyable. It's a nice change if I'm honest having a burger that someone has taken care to prepare over the MacDonalds alternative to slap together a smashed mess. It makes you enjoy your food much much more. Presentation gets a 5 and freshness of food gets a 5 too . I only reduced the overall score to 4 star because of the price. It's a shame. The establishment was in good order, clean tidy with a friendly vibe and smiley staff. Loads of parking deffinatley a decent place to go... They have the self serve touch screen and plenty of tidy seating. It has been mentioned to me that someone would prefer if the self serve machine took cash aswell as card payments into the machine a bit like a supermarket self serve. There's allso toilets and a Greg's.

un olor que no hay en espana, el olor de sausage rolls...baguettes...no se lo que es pero es un olor fantastico...no desayunamos alli al final porque habia demasiado en pizarra por elegir, y habia tanto recien hecho calentito que queria uno de cada cosa....y no pude elegir...la terraza un poco desorganizado, pero los desayunos muy bien preparados

Brand new McDonald's but worst service and cleanliness. What a shame for this franchise. Every table was dirty and there were plenty of empty tables. Yes it was busy, but they all are. No receipts from the self service tills. Miserable staff. No atmosphere. No milkshakes ever. Nice building but that's about it - fries undercooked.
