Best food around. The meat is bought from a local butcher so you know the burgers etc are fresh and proper meat not the frozen processed crap I am a fussy eater but wanted to try the food as it always smells amazing when passing. I had a Philly Steak burger and loaded fries. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Lovely place and absolutely the nicest and freshest scones I’ve ever had (and believe me I’ve had A LOT!!!!) We will definitely visit again the next time we’re in Ilfracombe.

Very tasty ice-cream, friendly service and great location. Seemed the more popular ice cream place nearby, which is q good sign. Not particularly cheap, but no where is nowadays. Definitely recommend

Amazing Christmas themed drinks.as described on the menu, friendly staff and amazing conversation. Couldn't have expected anything better. The cafe was beautifuly decorated with Christmas decorations, very on theme and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit!

Crab chips were amazing, unexpectedly good.

Jaime opened the cafe so that we had somewhere to host a birthday party after a coasteering trip with Nick Thorne. The hot chocolates were just what a group of kids needed after being in the sea for 2 hours, and the pizzas and dough balls went down a storm. Jaime even made the birthday cake, which was spectacular! All the staff were great. Best party ever, thank you.

New cafe in town so just had to try it, I wasn't disappointed, best breakfast I've had in a very long time. 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, tomatoe, fried bread, beans and toast plus coffee or tea for just £9.95! Top quality bacon and sausages and the coffee they serve free with breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly reccomended.

We stayed at the Carlton over the New Year. The hotel is superb, and our stay was wonderful. The hotel is immaculate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is excellent. The New Years Eve dinner and evening was a fantastic event. Michael, Elliot and the whole team are all welcoming and friendly and very attentive. One of our party was not very well and we had to cut short our stay so again, special thanks to Michael, Elliot and the team who were so kind and accommodating. The Carlton is a little gem. I would recommend a stay, we will certainly be returning. 10/10.

Amazing food,great service 👍 definitely going back

We’re not from the area but popped in for lunch this afternoon and ordered 2 panini’s, cheese + tuna mayo, pulled pork and cheese, for takeaway. The staff were very welcoming and patient allowing us time to decide what we wanted. They then prepared our food fresh, instead of the pre packaged food you get from Costa for example. The lady behind the counter was very chatty and open with us about the waiting time. We paid £10 on the dot so £5 per person and the paninis were unbelievably tasty and filling. I couldn’t recommend these place highly enough for anyone looking for a nice fresh sandwich for lunch, definitely going back when we’re next in the area!

My wasn't very good but my girlfriend enjoyed her s
