Possibly the best coffee I have had. Great selection of home cakes and a fantastic ethos for local produce and plastic free.

Thank you so much for a lovely meal and NYE party. We said last night how wonderful the atmosphere was, we felt welcomed and part of the event. All the staff are polite and efficient, nothing was too much for them. As an ex restauranter I look for hot food and good service and that's exactly what we got! The band was brilliant as was the music afterwards. The band were brilliant as was the soul/funk music afterwards.

I've been vegetarian since birth, come from a family with vegetarian Hindu background and have been vegan for over 15 years. We ordered a takeaway today and as always put in the notes to make sure everything was vegan. When I bit into my samosa, it tastes different than usual and smelled horrible to me...I then saw it contained meat!! I feel so disgusted and violated. Couldn't eat the rest of my dinner.

Very nice coffee and cake but rather expensive

An absolutely lovely little gem of a pub, tucked away in a quaint little mendips village. Really, cool old 14th century building with a traditional old English feel. Wood burners set into old large historic hearths. And low wood ceilings make for a very nice and cosy atmosphere. Rly friendly staff, that make you feel very welcome. And a surprisingly extensive menu for a UK countryside pub out the way, including good veggie options. I got the chicken and chorizo burger to share with my gf, and the portion size was large enough for both of us to share for lunch, and was decent. Nothing too fancy, just proper hearty soul warming pub grub. Exactly what we needed after an afternoon stroll. If you find yourself in the area, say doing some hill walking in the Mendips or visiting Wookey Hole, definitely worth a stop off. Village is quite pleasant too.

Living in Glastonbury we are between wells and street with lots of Indian restaurants to choose from we have tried them all with mixed reviews .. Indian Ocean as it’s now called is always the most reliable .. would highly recommend them … very authentic Indian food every time

What could be better on a cold winters day, A lovely Somerset country pub on the edge of the Mendips, warm cosy atmosphere with wood burners ablaze, friendly engaging staff and a pint of real ale!! Simply the best.

Amazing food and staff. Went on Wednesday and it was Nepalese night. Never had it before and was planning on going for my normal steak choice, I’m glad I didn’t! Top chef! The manager and staff were friendly and personable. I very much will be back!

Stopped off for a hot drink and slice of cake. We were the only people in the coffee shop at the time but waited ages for our order, despite two people serving. The cakes were tasty but the slices were tiny. Also the "regular" coffee was served in very small cups. Not good value for money - will not go there again.

Lovely couple facing a challenging time ahead but it will be worth it
