I visited Wednesday with my pugs and ordered a massaman curry it was beautiful. The rice was sticky and yummy and the curry was divine will be back for lunch again today. The lady who owns the buisnessn is very friendly aswell i like when you find good service. Highly recommended if you are out in the market if not why not go there get thai food people 😋 😀 😉

Simply good food without trying too hard. Rare find and a hidden gem in Wells. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Very good value and quality ingredient. We heard it’s been bought over. Hopefully new owner keeps everything as is including staff. We are not from Wells but hope for the best.

I took my Mother for a Mother's Day lunch. The food and service was excellent but we were seated in the kitchen area where there are a couple of tables. Whilst this shouldn't be an issue, the room is quite narrow with staff passing and waiting at my shoulder. I also had a small digital radio playing at one end of the room and a bell for the chef's service behind me. If this room is to be used for dining more thought should be put into the environment we are seated in. In the meantime do not accept a table in the kitchen. (We also noted some people struggling to get up the narrow spiral metal staircase to the first floor room so bear that in mind too.)

We visited BDW's last year and it was fantastic so we returned this year with a group of friends. We were embarrassed at how bad the experience and service was this time. Lots not available on the menu, disinterested staff and serving average food. I wouldn't bother going back. Such a shame to see a great place go down hill.

I have recently, for health reasons, had to totally change my diet. So many different food types that I cannot eat so eating out has become impossible. We were welcomed by a waitress who after explaining our situation said "We aim to be inclusive. Let me know what you cannot eat and I will check with the Chef". When she came back she showed us what I couldn't eat off the menu and what the Chef could alter to make thd dishes suitable for me. The Chef came out to talk to us half way through the meal to check we were OK. When I thanked him for accommodating us his reply was wonderful. "Thank you for trusting me with your allergies". We had a wonderful meal and the staff were brilliant.

Really unimpressed by this place considering the reviews. The prices were very high for what is ‘fine’ Greek food. £27 for Moussaka is a joke, whilst £21 for two unflavoured chicken thigh skewers and some chips is just unreasonable. The staff were nice and the setting is good but the food is really underwhelming

Although the food is very good one or two issues spoiled the experience. The toilets were very average and did not look particularly clean or cared for. Most importantly, seemingly dogs are permitted in restaurants and cafes, something I am diametrically opposed to (unless guide dogs). On this particular occasion there were three dogs in the area of the restaurant but as my friends and I were leaving the premises two dogs/owners also leaving, one of the animals urinated on the interior door mat. The owners did nothing to alert the restaurant nor did they attempt to clean up - an unacceptable situation. Clearly, if dog owners are irresponsible (which sadly many are) then restaurants need to look into their policies regarding dogs.
