Love this place. Always has great staff, great service, great light lunch and fabulous atmosphere. Will miss it greatly

Love the chips, curry sauce, cold slaw etc but the fish is often overcooked, dried out particularly at the ends. Any sign of freshness totally obliterated. Don't believe the hype I wouldn't say it's worth all these awards.

Apart from being one of few establishments in Glastonbury that actually serves meat this is a charming little cafe with wood scrubbed tables and Cornish sayings on the walls. The pasties look great but the jacket potatoes are phenomenal! Especially the chicken tikka, tuna mayo and the cheese and beans! And don't forget the side salad which comes with fourteen different ingredients and tastes absolutely stunning!

We stayed at the nearby Camping Site, Isle of Avalon. We ordered on their website, which was easy, and the food arrived exactly when they said it would. Food was good and generous helpings.

Don't serve food but supply plates and cutlery for you to bring your takeaway in. Lovely landlady.

Truly the worst chips I’ve ever had from a chip shop. Inedible. Barely warm, old-tasting and 100% were reheated, maybe more than once . Will not be returning unless it has different owners, will be going to Knight’s from now on. Young chap serving was nice though

A friend of mine needed to use the toilet due to an issue she needed to sort out and we aren’t from Glastonbury so didn’t know our way around. Some random girl behind the counter with an arm splint forced us to leave bc we weren’t ’paying customers’ even though we were literally going to get food after we had been to the loo?? Screamed at us in front of customers and had a nasty attitude…embarrassing for her really. Even went outside and watched us for some reason?? She needs a shower and to rethink the way she talks to people in ‘her’ cafe. Don’t recommend personally.

Second time eating at The Crown and once again the food and service were first class. A different menu from our last visit but a fantastic selection of original and very tasty dishes. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Coffee was ok but glad I had an espresso not an americano as I would have really had to rush it. I went into the cafe, couldn't see opening times so asked if they were still serving. She said yes but after 10 minutes was locking doors. Had asked earlier for vegan options but was given only food that could be adjusted and was informed that the dairy cheese was cooked on the same equipment as vegan so lactose intolerant and vegans beware. Next time customer asks I would recommend to cafe that they tell customers they are imminently due to shut.

Reasonably priced exalent food and service

Lovely food, most of the staff were lovely but couldn't give a 5 due to one of the members of staff appearing resentful of our sheer presence for no reason whatsoever I think!! Shame as everything else was perfect.

Reservamos una mesa para una familia de cinco para Halloween El servicio era educado y amable, no tenía que esperar demasiado tiempo para nuestra orden y las comidas eran todas calientes cantidad y calidad era increíble. Todos teníamos fish & chips, pero hay otras opciones de cosas para comer. Definitivamente relación calidad-precio y sin duda volveremos de nuevo
