Apart from being one of few establishments in Glastonbury that actually serves meat this is a charming little cafe with wood scrubbed tables and Cornish sayings on the walls. The pasties look great but the jacket potatoes are phenomenal! Especially the chicken tikka, tuna mayo and the cheese and beans! And don't forget the side salad which comes with fourteen different ingredients and tastes absolutely stunning!

Very well located, super english breakfast, tuna sandwich and coffee. For a decent price. Only toilet is not suitable, very small.

Normalmente no iba a una pastelería pero un cartel en la calle decía que estaban haciendo un thali indio. Intrigados, entramos y ¡oh Dios mío, me alegro tanto de haberlo hecho! Conseguí un thali casero por £ 12 que consistía en papas y ensalada, matar paneer (se podía cambiar esto por chole / pollos) , dhal, arroz y 2 chapatis - realmente excelente relación calidad-precio. El panel y el dual eran excepcionales - mucho mejor de lo que se obtiene en un restaurante - y conozco mi comida india! El servicio era encantador; cálido y amable. Solo en Glastonbury durante 3 días pero planeando visitar de nuevo antes de salir 😀 Absolutamente DELICIOSO!

After a long drive to Glastonbury from London, I needed refuelling. Across the road from the town centres main car park, is the Tin Pot Pasty Co. Locally owned and run, this is what my dad would have referred to as a traditional milk bar/greasy spoon café. The team are mainly locals, with a good local clientele coming and going. The local dialect is in full action, as regulars come in and are greeted as “my flower” or “my duck”. You know you are in the south west here. I ordered a Full English, which came with black pudding. It was a good cooked breakfast, with my only negative comment being that the hash brown was anaemic in colour and for my liking, undercooked. Looking at other reviews and images here, it would seem to be a trend here…. so maybe ask for your hash brown to be well done. If you are in Glasto, and fancy a good affordable Full English to start the day, you can’t go wrong here.

De propiedad y gestión local, esto es lo que mi padre se habría referido como una barra de leche tradicional / cafetería cuchara grasienta. El equipo es principalmente locales, con una buena clientela local yendo y viniendo. El dialecto local está en plena acción, ya que los habituales entran y son recibidos como “mi flor” o “mi pato”. Sabes que estás en el suroeste. Pedí un inglés completo, que venía con pudín negro. Fue un buen desayuno cocinado, con mi único comentario negativo es que el hachís marrón era de color anémico y para mi gusto, poco cocinado. Mirando otras reseñas e imágenes aquí, parecería ser una tendencia aquí... así que tal vez pida que su hash brown esté bien hecho. Si estás en Glasto, y te apetece un buen inglés completo asequible para empezar el día, no puedes equivocarte aquí.

Muy decepcionados de que no estaba abierto, hicimos un esfuerzo especial para ir cuando visitamos Glastonbury porque trip advisor recomendó que fuera el mejor lugar pastoso, el sitio web dijo que era pero el cartel en la puerta decía cerrado sin explicación de cuándo estaría abierto.

El Tin Pot Pasty Café es un lugar extremadamente amable y acogedor para disfrutar de café, té y comida. Todos los miembros del personal tratan a sus clientes con respeto y paciencia. El café es un lugar donde uno se siente seguro y especial. Ya sea solo o con amigos, este hermoso lugar atrae a los habituales y turistas que se van con buenos recuerdos. El Tin Pot Café es un establecimiento de gestión familiar y cada cliente es recibido con una sonrisa y una conversación amistosa. Decor is tired and it looks nothing from the outside. Don't let that stop you though. The food, especially the breakfast, is really good. It's good value, dog friendly and the staff are friendly too.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment, which proved to be a delightful experience. The pasties were exceptional, freshly prepared and generously filled. The flat whites were the finest we encountered during our trip. Additionally, the establishment is pet-friendly, which is a commendable feature.

Probably the nicest Chicken Tika and Jacket potato I've ever had. Really nice kick to the chicken and the potato was soft and fluffy with a crunchy skin.... lots and lots of butter. Kids went for an the ham and cheese toasty and a small fried dish.... both happy.

A nice spot opposite the abbey entrance for a quick bite to eat and a drink. The service was good but a bit expensive. There are some good local language translations on the wall which are quite amusing.

I am a big fan of a pasty and take any chance I can to have one. This is without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. Their range of options is brilliant and always hits the spot. Perfect after admiring the view from the Tor!

Been there a couple of times. The food was great the first time a long wait though, the second time, I left after a 20+ minute wait to be served. I wasn't the only one who left. Its a shame because the pasties are really good. But the service is horrendous. Not even an acknowledgement from the staff.

What a fantastic find. Had the cauliflower pastry (I don’t really like cauliflower! ). The lady assured me I would like it. Like it ! It was amazing. It was like having an extremely tasty curry inside a delicious pastry. 10/10.

I have been here a few times while passibg this way... It seems it's now a change of management since the last time I was here. Firstly, I love the location (I've always sat outside) - always fascinating as the locals in Glastonbury are always, let's say, very interesting. No exception this time around ☺ I had a cooked breakfast, and a coffee. The brekky was a very good price I think (especially for Glastonbury!) - it was lovely, although sorry to say the bacon was hard, and the mushrooms were a bit tasteless (they used to do one MASSIVE mushroom, but that was the previous owners I guess) Nevertheless, the service was great, the breakfast was great, and the coffee was absolutely fab. Large too, and stayed hot... Really good! Thank you

There are not.many places that, in my opinion, can make a good latte, this place is definitely one of them. There was a bit of a wait for food, but due to the carnival being on that was to be expected, I was warned there would be a delay when I ordered so it was my choice to wait, I'm so glad I did. My food was delicious and compared to other cafes , the prices were reasonable. The place was also very clean. I would definitely go again.

Went into this warm and welcoming cafe during a visit in torrential rain yesterday! The staff were very pleasant and allowed our little dog in too, which was much appreciated. Very tasty proper Cornish pasties and good coffee. Thank you, it was lovely to visit a traditional cafe with happy to help service.

Not a good experience here had a breakfast and asked for no beans ,was given beans anyway. Bacon was undercooked as were the hash brown and black pudding. Ate it cause we were hungry they seemed busy so did not complain. The bathroom was absolutely filthy sink was dirty and something on the wall I would not want to guess at have used cleaner porta loos.😢

we thought it would make a change to have a pasty for lunch. we were not disappointed. Great pasties brought in from Cornwall and served piping hot and with a friendly smile. Brought in every two days from Bodmin. These are not par-for-the-course mushy pastries. They're the real things. Many vegan and veg options.

We came just before closing after full day of exploring the stunning Glastonbury. We wanted hot lunch but as we got there late there only was few pasties left under hot counter. I had the chicken, bacon and leak and my other half had the traditional pasty and large sausage roll. We sat down and digged in. Omg guys! The only way I can describe it is insanely good. Best pasty I've ever had. I tried the sausage roll and that was just as good. I personally don't like the traditional pasties but that one really looked good if that's all they had left I would happily eat it! The pastry was so light, so much filling and it was just perfectly seasoned which I never find in pasty shops. Place is dog friendly. Lovely owners, came and chatted to us and our two pooches. Honestly best breakfast/lunch place. Coffee was amazing too. Highly recommend guys. When you're in Glastonbury give it a try. Very well priced two, for 3 pasties and two large coffees we paid £15.

A family run establishment with simple, but tasty and innovative menu. I had an onion Bhaji pasty. My wife a cheese and tomato pasty. The owner kindly brought Leo, our golden retriever, a sausage. All three of us enjoyed our snacks. We, not Leo, also had coffee. They do not charge you extra for topping up an expresso with hot water, as some big chains do. We will go there again the next time we are in the area.

Had a chess & onion pasty to take away… pastry was nice but the filling was manly diced potatoes, couldn’t taste any cheese or onion. In a town full of vegi options I wouldn’t go here again

Called in for a bite to eat ironically not a pasty. We got sausage sandwiches and tea the biggest one ever. Staff polite, sandwiches huge and cheaply priced. I would thoroughly recommend.

Really delicious pasties and sausage rolls. The steak and ale and the chicken, bacon and leek were fab and the milkshakes with cream and marshmallows were right up the kids street!

Really disappointed. First time customer but wont be back. Bought veg pasty. Tasted like tinned veg. Very bland and tasteless. Veg pasties can be so tasty. This was the worst pasty I've ever had. Costing 3.70 thought it would have good quality ingredients. Real shame

We just saw this place and thought we'd come in for breakfast. So glad we did it was amazing food and so well cooked. My full english was cooked really well and fried egg perfect. Tasteless burning hot tea (no tea bag in cup, so assuming it was from a pre brewed pot that was being kept hot and topped up) and a cold pasty. Ate in and paid handsomely, but still served in a paper bag and cardboard cup. Felt a bit sick afterward.

I walked around quite a few cafes/restaurants looking for a decent fair priced snack. Popped into this shop. Created by a lovely lady behind the counter. Couldn’t do enough for me. Absolutely gorgeous sausage sandwich - just what I needed - and a lovely large flat white. Perfect. And the pasties look lush too.

Visited the Frost Fair yesterday. Decided not to have breakfast at home so looking for a suitable place. Most places seemed to be vegan so really pleased that this cafe offered the full works. Food was delicious and served with two mugs of tasty tea. Very pleasant service and clean. Good to see the table being wiped clean properly before we sat down . Good value for money too. Would definitely return.

Great place to sit outside and watch Glastonbury go by. Good coffee and can recommend the hearty breakfast which will keep you going all day. It's known for its authentic, artisan Cornish pasties. Perfectly located to head over to the Abbey across the street and High Street. Bus number 376 can be caught just outside.Thanks to the owner Karen and family for prompt service with a smile.

We stopped for a bacon sandwich and cup of tea which both arrived very quickly. Everyone behind the counter was so accommodating and friendly. What really struck us though was the desire to help another customer to find the exact location of a community hall, to the point of asking other locals, ringing friends of friends and even asking the postman. Nothing was too much trouble and it was so refreshing to see so many people making an effort to help someone out. Really brilliant team. Great food. Thank you.

Glastonbury is full of surprises, we get used to that, but I never thought that having a regular scrambled egg on toast here would lead to an attempt by Cupid to fire his arrows in my direction!The egg on toast is great, so are the pasties, but branching out into matchmaking is a perfect example of the friendly approach of this brilliant restaurant to its regulars. Brilliant!

My wife I half Cornish. She never had such a traditional pasty for years. The staff are friendly and helpful.she put 3 pasties by for us and they were incredible. Can’t wait to go back. PROPER.

Sat outside, which was on the pavement with passing traffic so not ideal. Pasties looked stodgy so opted fpor a sausage roll, hoping it would be tasty and lighter as a light lunch. It was really not nice, with greyish filling, and came with nothing else (no garnish etc). Not even cheap for what it was...

Dropped in for a breakfast on Saturday 15th June 2019. This is a Cornish dialect themed cafe which sells 'proper job' pasties as well as really good full English breakfasts. Premises are basic but the food is excellent and really good value for money. The lady serving was very friendly, helpful and entertaining.Best to head there 'dreckly'.

I had an extra large pasty. Absolutely delicious. The pastry was heavenly and the filling of potatoes and veg was seasoned well with a decent amount of pepper. Amazingly for this type of food there were actual big chunks of beef running through it - as though they had been lovingly placed there by hand. I am only visiting Glastonbury for a couple of days so will not be able to have another - but if I lived close by this would become a staple food. You need to try one. (Or two)

Recently moved to Glastonbury. This is a great place for an exceptional breakfast and really happy and friendly staff. Popular with locals and visitors.

The Tin Pot Pasty Co sits directly opposite the entrance to Glastonbury Abbey and right in the middle of the town. But they don't charge the high prices you expect in a top tourist location. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the pasties are really delicious. I had a full English breakfast. They were happy to leave out some things I didn't want and put in more of what I did want - and the price was only £6.00.

We were visiting a friend mid afternoon on Sunday 11/11 and wanted a quick soup and coffee prior to " doing the Town " I spotted an all day Breakfast sign and that was that. Fantastic food, freshly cooked and served with a smile and a joke Just what we needed. We returned at 3pm for tea and home cooked sponge cake because Breakfast was so good. Recently visited for a breakfast and had a great experience. The food is freshly cooked and very tasty. Lovely clean surroundings in a central location. It’s always a pleasure to visit here and is well recommended.

Family visit to Glastonbury and popped in for a quick snack. Friendly staff. Nice clean place. Pasties were ok. We had a number of different ones between us and some were better than others tbh.

I was recommended to come here by a friend and was so glad I did. As a Cornishman I know a good pasty when I taste one, and this was certainly it!
