Coffee Zero in Mendip

Es horrible. Comida barata y desagradable mal hecha (bacon mal cocido) , tortas «caseras» de basura de una caja y patatas de chaqueta precocidas, todo servido en platos rudos colocados en encimeras sucias y pegajosas. El personal asqueroso ni siquiera se lava las manos después de usar el sucio baño. Básicamente, es una casucha, no gastes tu dinero aquí.

¡Evite si le gusta amenazar al personal! La jovencita hablando con el personal de tills , caballero mayor entró con su perro , la jovencita saludó hermoso al perro boxeador y la mujer con el pelo rojo y gafas le dijo que están hablando con el tipo o el perro la señora respondió al perro ¿por qué ? Su respuesta si estás hablando con el tipo en el que voy a golpearte en la cara, le he dado mi número afuera y le he dicho que se ponga en contacto con la policía mientras voy como testigo de lo que escuché... ciertamente no volverá a este café...

El personal encantador creo que no, estaba sentado con mi hermana allí dentro y una señora estaba hablando con otros en el mostrador , como estábamos sentados cerca escuchamos la conversación , hombre mayor entró con su perro y la señora miró al perro y dijo hola hermosa la señora con el pelo teñido respondió ¿está hablando con el caballero o el perro su respuesta fue el perro , ciertamente no necesito otro hombre gracias riendo , la respuesta de la mujer fue buena o tengo que golpear su cara con miembros del personal como este el propietario va a perder la costumbre salimos y esperamos fuera e informamos a la señora que iríamos como testigos si se pone en contacto con la policía como le aconsejamos hacer esto . . .

Lovely food, friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. What more could you want?

A friend of mine needed to use the toilet due to an issue she needed to sort out and we aren’t from Glastonbury so didn’t know our way around. Some random girl behind the counter with an arm splint forced us to leave bc we weren’t ’paying customers’ even though we were literally going to get food after we had been to the loo?? Screamed at us in front of customers and had a nasty attitude…embarrassing for her really. Even went outside and watched us for some reason?? She needs a shower and to rethink the way she talks to people in ‘her’ cafe. Don’t recommend personally.

Coffee not hot enough and weak and lacking in taste. Toast ordinary sliced granary bread. We were put off by the dog that was allowed to run around and eat from the floor round the tables.

Only stayed for a drink.I thought the hot chocolate I ordered was very weak and watery.Considering the price I felt abit ripped off.Staff however were friendly.

Bien, acogedor, buen café y tés. Comida a un precio razonable y sabrosa. Inconvenientes, inodoro sucio y están perdiendo la costumbre debido a permitir que la gente tome mesas para trabajar en computadoras portátiles, una persona en una mesa para 4 . Tampoco es bueno permitir que su perro vaya a mendigar a las mesas. En general, aunque no está mal.

Cosy little cafe that does gluten free and vegan for my friend. Can't really fault them at all. Love the staff and little skip the dog

Really fancied a cup of soup on a cold day. It was £6 here for a takeaway tomato & garlic soup, which seemed a lot but sounded good. I was given my order after some time, and when opened found it was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. I couldn’t taste any other flavours apart from tinned tomato and sugar! The bread was just plain sliced. Disappointing and sadly not a good deal for the money :(

We stopped for a quick lunch. The staff were very friendly, helpful. The food and coffee were great and tasty. Definitely not our last visit. Prices were very good.. Service was great despite them being very busy.

Fantastic find warm welcome. Busy but quickly served Delicious vegan lemon cake and beautiful scones, reasonably priced.Highly recommend 😋

Had a consultation with a client today and needed a cafe to visit, this place was recommended by the client, they had a delicious looking green smoothie so thought I’d join in. Conveniently located, lots of traffic and friendly staff, a great location for people who like people.

Always my preferred stop for breakfast in Glastonbury. Can't beat the vegan Avalon breakfast. Hits the spot perfectly. Hot and tasty. Just wish there wasn't a surcharge for oat milk in my coffee.

Not the best place for coffee in the area. Frequented by a lot of the winos who sit outside the church.

Coffee was fine, food arrived quickly and was fine, good eggs, beans, toast and hash browns plus veggie bap. Very low quality catering sausages, though. Service was really strange. The American guy on the till was really friendly and efficient. Top marks to him, and to the woman who served our food to the table. 3/4 staff members were very helpful, friendly and efficient. However …. The female, young, member of staff wearing a vest top was *extremely* rude to a lady sitting next to us upstairs, who was completely minding her own business and was charging her phone. Lady had bought a cake and a coffee….

Great food, piled high. dog 🐕 friendly, very welcoming,will definitely be back for more. What more can I say 🤔.

Buscando algo para comer durante una estancia en Glastonbury encontré este café. Ocupado solo con los lugareños desde el principio me recibió un perro residente amable. Pedí un desayuno con champiñones extra y patatas. El desayuno estaba delicioso, pero las patatas estaban muy secas, así que no las comí. Our go to place for coffee or brunch in Glastonbury. Great position in the High Street , plenty of seating. Good menu and all food has been perfect on multiple visits over several years.

The behaviour of staff is appalling, mocking our family members asking, “if they’re open” was disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to dine here, the rudeness and incompetence is disturbing. Awful is to say the least, if I could rate it 0 out of 5 stars I would.

Really bad staff. Went in with my mum at 3:50 to try and get a takeaway drink, and it says they close at 4. They said ‘guys we’re closed’ and my mum asked ‘even for drinks?’ And as we left one of the members of staff mockingly said ‘what even for drinks?!’ To her coworker. Really bad atmosphere. Don’t go here

Went for lunch on the Saturday and returned on the Sunday for Breakfast. Kid friendly - our 6 year old loved the lunch bag and the toasted teacakes and the excitement of Skipper the dog! Really friendly staff and the atmosphere is just super family, cosy, chilled environment. Absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend.

The people are so kind! There is a lovely dog called skipper who likes to greet people at the door! The food was very tasty, would recommend the hot chocolate, skipper likes to beg for food though. Everyone is very friendly, I am DEFINATLY coming back one day.

Lovely cafe with a really good menu. This place just needs a few tweaks and it would be spot-on! I have to say I really didn't like the owners dog running around the place and jumping up when you were trying to eat - not everyone is keen on dogs. There was also a young waitress - friendly enough, but she kept shouting across the cafe and hollering to the other staff - really not good for the atmosphere! Pipe down! The food was good though...

Extremely busy on the day we visited but we didn't wait too long for our meals. Food was delicious, friendly staff & a good atmosphere.

Breakfast was fine though milkshake wasn’t particularly cold. Staff were a bit odd, saw us come in but all 3 turned away and carried on their conversation while we stood there. Had to interrupt to ask if we order at bar. Tables were dirty and the tray they brought our drinks on was so filthy there’s no way they could have missed it. Generally a weird vibe from staff, a woman with a walking stick came in and asked about tables downstairs - we were just leaving so said to the staff but they just ignored us, so my friend chased the group down and said they could have our table as we were downstairs and going. Just very odd really, the main woman we spoke to just seemed like we were speaking another language. Gorgeous spaniel but he does beg for food. Wouldn’t rush back.

Friendly staff and quick service. Had a large hot chocolate with the works and the cream/marshmallow/sprinkles were fine but the hot chocolate drink itself was horrible. It was far too sweet and sickly. Sat upstairs and it was spacious enough, but with an odd choice of decor. Great for a breakfast stop, but not sold on this being a comfortable coffee chat venue. Would not take a date here.

Lovely food and great service, everyone is helpful and friendly! Good menu with loads on, including gluten free options which was perfect! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Glastonbury and fancy some lunch or brunch in a quirky cafe with a great atmosphere

Stopped here for a drink and snack after climbing the Tor today with my friend and our children. Both chose a bubble tea which they said was 5 stars and the best in Somerset! The service was fantastic and the staff were lovely and friendly - will definitely be back again soon.

Came in for brekkie with my friend after having lunch in here a while ago and yes, brekkie is great. I had a smoothie and my friend had a soya latte and we both had a cooked breakfast. We will be back! Also it's dog friendly so it's nice to see dogs :)

Lemme start by saying I dig great customer service, it’s kinda my jam. I popped into Coffee Zero for a bite to eat with a mate and we were greeted and served by a fantastic young lady called Hazel. She was efficient, professional, personable and funny as fudge. She recommended me a coffee and a King Arthur breakfast and both were banging. She’s a credit to your organisation! In years to come there will be poetry and songs written about this frankly miraculous, and amazing, member of staff! Hats to hazel, she’s made my day!

We visit Glastonbury a lot and like to try different cafes each time. We came for the Frost Fayre and, after reading reviews, decided to try Coffee Zero. On the Saturday, the staff were helpful, especially the man dressed as Santa. I'm disabled and he helped clear the way so I could get to a table. We both had a breakfast and drinks which were good, so we decided to go back on the Sunday morning before heading home. What a different experience! I use a walker and, as it was cold, told my husband I'd meet him inside while he parked the car. After struggling to get the door open, watched by 4 members of staff, I waited at the counter to ask if we could sit at the table next to table 6. Eventually I was noticed and told that wasn't really possible but she waved her hand towards the back of the cafe, saying we could sit at the table by the dog crate. Then another girl, who had been very loud and friendly on Saturday, showed me to it saying, " it won't work cos we have to get passed, no it won't work." I am a bigger lady but she made me feel humiliated with her rudeness. She didn't try to offer an alternative and made me feel like my being disabled was such a inconvenience. I've never experienced such rudeness or discrimination in Glastonbury before. I left, deciding to wait for my husband outside. Again, I struggled with the door, none of the staff offered to help, but a mother pushing a buggy outside came to help me. Whilst waiting for my husband this rude girl walked passed me, didn't acknowledge me at all. We won't be going back to Coffee Zero, I am considering reporting their behaviour under the Equality Act. I was humiliated and embarrassed. All smiles and grab your money on the day of the Frost Fayre, tempting you back only to be treated with contempt on the Sunday. On a plus side, we found My Fine Deli who went out of their way to help me.

Excellent no~nonsense cafe. Plenty of seating and a very good choice of food. I recommend the smoothies particularly. Wonderful friendly and efficient service too. I will be back when I am next in town!

Had a full English and a coffee , the food was top quality and tasty and very good value. All coffee is not strong enough for me so that's also good , you can't cater for my extreme coffee strength . I will go again to eat there friendly but not overbearing staff . Thank you for a excellent breakfast.

Absolutely rudest staff. Me and my friend brought a coffee here and then we were was refused the toilet facilities.

Ein wundervolles Café mit sehr viel Charme, leckeren Getränken und sehr netten sowie zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter:innen! Man fühlt sich gleich willkommen und ein bisschen wie zu Hause, da das Café so gemütlich und heimelig ist. Empfehlung: Chai Latte Vanilla, ein Traum 😍

Yet to meet the sweet puppy I saw sleeping in the kennel crete in the cafe. Yet good lively stuff , not bad English mini breakfast I had. Good ol hot chocolate I needed.

Went in yesterday for a coffee and ice cream. The coffee was lukewarm and the two scoop ice cream was so small it amounted to one scoop for a child. The service was a young man and he acted like he didn't want to be there. My husband and I were disappointed because we normally like going in there.

We were in Glastonbury for 2 weeks and this was our go to coffee shop. Super good coffee, nice scones and good value big breakfasts. Dog friendly too. Well worth popping into.

Coffee Zero is an amazing place to get food, especially breakfast! As soon we walked in the place was packed, but did manage to find a table. The staff even offered to put two smaller ones together for us. Even though the place was full, the service was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and came to us quickly. My breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted wonderful and blew my expectations away. If you’re in the area, or even outside of it, please make your way here and treat yourself to an exceptional breakfast! Also their cakes look amazing but sadly I was too full to try them!

I don't usually write reviews for coffee shops but I found Coffee Zero particularly good. Firstly they were really busy and found me a table, secondly (and most importantly) the latte was absolutely delicious, not the best I've ever had but not far off. Well worth a visit

Nice quaint coffee shop in the heart of the high Street, lovely, friendly young staff, good, quick service, great array of food and drink, recommend the home made vegetarian soup which was very very tasty, coffee was superb too

My favourite place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner in Glastonbury. A great range of food options for all, especially pleased with their gluten free options! Staff are lovely too, so friendly and helpful.

Very limited breakfast choice and the food itself was very average to put it nicely. The good thing is it opens at 9 and most other places do at 10, which is useful

I've been here a couple of times - always delicious food (this time breakfasts) and good service. The café is also very nice, both ground and upper floor.

Great food - very tasty, good portion sizes and vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. We had fantastic service with a smile during our visit. Would happily visit Coffee Zero again the next time we are in Glastonbury.

Food is fairly priced and great quality. The staff are friendly and the service was brilliant. I wouldn't go anywhere else for lunch in Glastonbury.

Had the veggie burger today ,great chips ,poor tasteless burger in my opinion , coleslaw was !!!! I won't be returning Blue note cafe much better burgers ,couple coming after me had their food ,veggieburger included 5 min before me ! coffee was well o.k no more .Sorry was all a bit disappointing.

This place sold expensive coffee that was quite frankly third rate It was too weak and more like dirty water than a decent brew. You must try harder.

Lovely coffee, the upstairs seating was really cozy with a birds eye view from the window seats,l we did not have time to eat but the food looked tasty ....really reasonable prices had a chat with the owner..lovely chap !

What a fantastic place this was. The staff were really friendly, the food was great quality and price. Our meals also came out very quickly and nice and hot. Will very happily come back when next in Glastonbury 😊

Cosy little cafe, run by happy and cheerful staff. Not a huge menu but what they do have is always well presented and tasting delicious. Always a treat to visit.
