Usual lounge service,just coffee but v nice

Second time here, hoping for speedier service. Sadly not, they appear to be consistent in that it took nearly an hour for a burger to be delivered, just not feasible when on a lunch break.

A very nice clean & modern pub & restaurant, good choice of food & friendly polite staff !

Lovely place, great staff. The chips were a little greasy and destroyed by cooking. The drink and the rest of the meal were great

Staff: 9/10 Food 2/10 Dry burger, Bland cold sweet potato fries and a milkshake that despite tlwhat the price would suggest, has likely never been near ice cream... and is sickly sweet.

Disappointing gluten-free meal. Ordered buttermilk chicken strips but it appeared to be a chicken burger. Coleslaw was actually off so couldn't eat it. Underwhelmed.

What a lovely restaurant. Great menu choice. Delicious food. Would definitely go again when we're next in the area

Huge place in the lovely City of Wells, reasonably priced and the App to order food and drinks is super easy and quick! We had a tapas sharing board, was very tasty, definitely go again

The place is pretty but that's it. We came mid-afternoon, so few customers present. However, all the empty tables still had the dirty glasses and plates from previous customers. The waiter walks past us without even offering us anything, or even clearing the table. The experience ended there for us. Dirty, no sense of service...

I love the lounge. Good value for money

Lovely place for a meal. Plenty of choice and some nice non-alcoholic drinks if you're driving.

Good food at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lunchtime was very busy but strangely subdued. Sort of bar vibe but didn't quite achieve it.

Went in and took a seat for lunch, as my partner and I have done at numerous Lounges before, and all was normal until we got to the bar to order. Our allergies have never been a problem in any lounge before, but today was different. Presenting a sunflower seed allergy, we told the server that it's not on the matrix, but normally someone will check the ingredients list to ensure safety. This gentleman, or this establishment, flat out refused to check, citing company policy; which was obviously news to us. I've rated food and atmosphere as neutral, based on experiences in other Lounge establishments.

Great place to go. Its honestly beautiful on the inside with all the paintings and portraits and i could just stare at them for hours. Food is great there and the waiters are such lovely people ❤️

Eclectic décor is a feature of the lounge franchise, and Fosso lounge doesn't disappoint. Plenty to look at while you're waiting for your excellent food. Friendly staff, good value, tasty food.

First time to Fosso lounge , which reminds me of weatherspoons. The food was hot , family and pet friendly, and over all, I'm glad we chose , this venue, and good pricing

This place is fantastic. The food was very yummy. The best salad I've had ever. Fresh ingredients. Fun atmosphere. Just so much better than a famous pub up the road! The staff here in Fosso are friendly helpful and willing to serve.

We had the best breakfast, enough for 2. The treat was including mushrooms and black pudding. Efficient friendly bar service. Love the old but well put together decor.

Having not visited before despite being local to Wells, we have now visited twice in the last 2 weeks! A very pleasant lunch yesterday, highly recommend the philly cheese ciabatta and the iced latte! Ordering via the app is convenient in a way but we found it probably took longer than just speaking to someone! I love the large open windows at the front, looking out on the high street and the world going by.

Great menu for gluten free. Food was lovely and you didn’t have to wait a long time for it to arrive.

In Wells we saw this great lounge on the way to the local weekend market. Here you are also served at the table. Very quaint and great atmosphere. I drank a very tasty cappuccino. Great atmosphere and for me the best restaurants/pubs I've seen here in Wells 👍

Been here a few times for food, always lovely and the staff are lovely too. There is charity bingo every 3rd thursday of the month, was a shame limited turn out last night due to football,but still fun and would recommend. It is also dog friendly which is a plus. Breakfasts are lovely and the tapas, havent tried other items yet but confident would be very good too

Lovely meal, good atmosphere even though it was quiet (Thursday at 9pm) Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and absolutely recommend visiting when in Wells

Always decent food in a lounge restaurant and the atmosphere is predictable. Did over cook the squid which made it chewy, everything else was good.

I am visting Somerset for the week from Ireland and we went to Fosso Lounge for dinner, it was an absolute delight. Neil and Lydia (hope I got those names right) were absolutely a pleasure to have served us today. Neil at the till was an absolute pleasure, extremely friendly and welcoming. Lydia was on bar and the cocktails were excellent and very fast at coming out to us. This great service was complemented by really good food. The Lounge and Chicken + avocado burger was phenomenal and the halloumi fries were to die for. I didn't catch the name of the waitress who served us the food but she was also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great cocktails and amazing food.Not to mention the prices, especially for what quality you get is beyond reasonable compared to other places. The decor was also very snazzy and warm. All in all, this place is absolutely deserving of 5 stars all around and next time I visit Somerset, I will definitely be back. 😃

Food- meh. A standard Wetherspoons pub grub menu done at Fosso. Food was hot, service speedy, staff lovely. Would I go back again? Only if there was nothing else open.

Only popped in for coffee. But the place was really busy. Was shown to a seat. Ordered online and our drinks were served promptly. Lovely atmosphere friendly polite staff. Definitely coming back for food.

Very pleasant restaurant in the centre of Wells. We were very glad of it being open on a Sunday evening because everything else had stopped serving food.

Had dinner here last night. They do what they do very well. I might have given 4.5 stars if possible simply because it was not to the same standard as perhaps an independent restaurant might be. But as part of a chain they were fine. Very friendly staff (perhaps slightly under-staffed), food was okay and decor/atmosphere certainly delivered on the 'lounge' aesthetic. We were just really glad they were open and still serving quite late on a Sunday evening in the quiet location of Wells.

Had Tapas there very nice, and their cherry 🍒 bakewell cocktail 🍸 is delicious

A really nice chilled atmosphere with decent food and drink. Being dog friendly is definitely a bonus!

Had tuna melt sandwich, which wasnt very good at all. Bread was toasted but was very hard and there was no tuna in it and very little cheese. Raspberry cake was quite dry. Coffees were ok. Not a good eating experience.

This is a lovely restaurant, well worth a visit. Not badly priced too.

Plenty of GF options and choices for family. Love food, decor, welcoming, good value. Have similar in Liverppol: Milo and Brasso Loung so knew the food choices. 'Go to' breakfast and chilled

Absolutely WONDERFUL. The best calamari that we've had outside Greece. Also really enjoyed the aubergine parmigiana, Korean prawns, chicken wings, whipped feta and honey and the sweetcorn fritters. Wonderful service and keenly priced.

This is our go to when we go to Wells, we've had lunches and breakfast here. Great place with great food.

During this visit the staff were great, they tried to resolve the issue we had but I had the wrong order when we ordered with the waiter, the place was so busy I didn't complain as I was hungry but ordering via their app caused a problem for 3 friends as the food didn't arrive and was never received. Recommended that you look for a notification of your order was placed. They left without eating and I ate something I didn't want. If it looks busy inside double check your order, the staff were very sorry, the atmosphere is great.

Beautiful building, friendly staff, great menu and gorgeous food. Generous vegan, veggie and gluten free options as well as omnivore menu.

After numerous time consuming attempts, we concluded that the "order at table" IT is non functional. There was therefore an irritatingly long wait at the Bar to place our order. I was in the frame of mind never to waste my time here again but the food arrived promptly, the service was friendly and the quality of food was good at the price. As is so often the case, the IT department needs sufficient hard kicks in the posterior to convince them to stop devaluing the company's brand!

This is now my new favourite place after discovering it a few weeks ago! Staff are really friendly, food is superb and the ambience is just perfect! It was very busy today but the staff managed very well, big shout out to the kitchen staff too!

Extremely unhappy experience due to one member of staff that was waitressing, she was very rude and unhelpful. My husband was unclear as to the contents of some items on the menu, and she was very dismissive. My children picked up on her attitude and I'm sorry to say but we would not recommend this place to anybody. Train your staff properly!

Every time I'm in Wells I visit this cafe due to the atmosphere, food and service. All good.

We've a similar restaurant in my home town always a pleasure going there, run very well and pleasant staff.

Really lovely place with a fabulous atmosphere. Visited at 5.30pm on a Saturday and was very busy, waited a fairnwhile for some drinks (6 of us, and one had finished their drink by the time the last person was given theirs) drinks all very nice, americano, iced teas, iced caramel latte (which accidentally arrived hot caramel latte despite not being on the menu, but didn't want to return it ) a milkshake, ordered oreo but out so ordered biscoff instead and plain tea. Great place for a drink, didn't have the food but would do if the timing was right, we had plans to eat elsewhere. All in all a lovely place, busy and worth a visit.

we visited on a busy saturday lunch time, there didn't appear to be any free tables, but the very helpful waiter made sure that we found one really good food at a reasonable price and excellent and super efficient service by all the staff there

Incredibly friendly staff who fit the role perfectly and clearly love what they are doing, specifically nick who is a great addition to the team, he went the extra mile, I had left my ID in the restaurant so he ran all the way up to the cathedral to chase my boyfriend and I down and definitely saved me some awkward conversations with other bar staff 😅 Thankyou nick!

As most other places seem to closed on Wednesdays in Wells, we thought we’d try Fosse Lounge… Couldn’t fault it. Great choice of food, service was excellent, really pleasant atmosphere, top notch staff, dog friendly and very reasonably priced. 10/10 - no problem recommending for any night of the week(especially Wednesdays though🤣)

Ordered flat whites with tea cakes. The tea cakes were huge and the coffee was lovely and hot. The only let-down was that the tea cakes are served with a tiny butter pack, which was nowhere near enough.

First time visiting Wells. Found this restaurant on line. Lovely, friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Great selection of food and drink. Excellent food. Piping hot, well presented and bacon that tasted of bacon!! Would highly recommend.

Really friendly staff, I think some of the friendliest staff we’ve personally come across, all seemed to enjoy doing their job. The place has a unique quirky chilled vibe, not over loud, liked the music they had on, really enjoyed the experience. They have a good selection of drink be it larger, cocktails, soft drinks and everything in between. The food was tasty and well presented, it isn’t the biggest menu but that can keep the quality up. Defo return again was pleasantly surprised.

Always have a pleasant time when visiting, food is quick and service is good. Ordering off the website is easy and it doesn’t overwhelm the bar with people as there’s a lot of people ordering drinks!

We go here regularly as a family and it never fails to hit the spot. Really welcoming staff that are so friendly and helpful. The food is always a good standard delivered in good time, they also have a vegan and a gluten free menu. Reasonably priced. We’ll continue to come here as there is something for everyone in the family and we always have a nice time.

We had lunch at Fosso Lounge on 12th January. We were met by Kate who was so helpful. She showed me how to scan the QR code to find dishes that were vegan and gluten free, which meant that I could relax and enjoy my meal without worrying about eating something that would make me ill. Kate had such a warm, friendly, welcoming manner. She was very attentive all through our stay. She even brought water and treats for my dog. The food was great but the experience was made special by Kate being so good at her job.

Love this lounge one of my favourites. Food is always good in this one and the staff are always friendly. Love that it's dog friendly and that they have games and colouring for kids.

Disappointed with the service. I ordered a strawberry & cream milkshake, when it arrived the milkshake had no flavour, so I sent it back complaining that it was tasteless and surely there was no strawberry and indeed the waitress came back saying they had no strawberry left and offered a biscoff banana milkshake instead. They literally tried to rip me off... Bad service.

Great food. Few of us had the breakfast which was perfect. I had the bombay chicken burger. Really good. Atmosphere and deco are fun and the service was excellent really quick and nice staff.

Good food, friendly, trendy, and easy to use. Will use again.
