Incredible food and very relaxing environment. As a family we enjoy the occasional special treat here. Highly recommended.

The contemporary feel in these lounges are definitely a vibe! Even though we visited on a Sunday night, the service was good and the staff members were friendly. The food is always tasty.

Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this brilliant restaurant. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a perfect cure for a hangover.

I had an issue with my food there a while ago, and they dealt with it in an exceptional manner. I understand accidents happen, and issues with stock aren't as much as their fault as their supplier. But still, a bone in chorizo could have been spotted by the chef so i understand why they were so keen to take responsibility. Respect for me, respect for them! food kinda overpriced tho lol

Whilst it’s now a part of a large national chain and even though they have a corporate image, The Lounges always retain that ‘local’ feel. This time we had Flat breads. There is a good menu with both numerous Vegetarian and kids menu choices. Coffee and cakes are available as well as full meals. Has a good range of beers, spirits & wines. Orange juice is freshly pressed as you wait. ‘The Lounges’ are always worth a visit.

Really lovely looking restaurant, gluten free & vegan menus with lots of options. Unfortunately the service was very slow and everything is a bit sticky.

We popped in for an early lunch. I had the lounge burger with fries and my partner had the chicken burger. No photos I'm afraid but great food. The restaurant is over two floors, and it's bar service. Reasonably priced menu and plenty of choice.

It is a good place to meet for just a coffee or a meal. Good selection of food, snacks, and main meals available. Only given 3 stars due to the bad attitude of some staff members. Our plates of food were put on the table with a thump. The waitress did not smile or interact with us. When asked if the milk jug contained full or skimmed milk, she snapped, "It's whatever you ordered." We were not impressed.

I know the restaurant industry has gone through difficult times but this establishment needs to do better. The service was poor resulting in us cancelling some of our order as we ran out of time. The quality of the meals were very poor. All the cooked food was over done or did not arrive. As for value for money, I was left feeling ripped-off given the quality and quantity of what we received. I can only attribute its popularity down to its good location in town.

Cordero Lounge has a steady good quality service delivering great food. They've had some members of staff here for a long time which is always reassuring for me. All the Loungers are great at handling my little issues with food.

It's a lovely place to get brunch but I will say, book on the weekend otherwise you may end up sitting outside in the cold 😂 the food was good and the drinks too. Nothing crazily but good enough! It's your classic Lounge experience. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. The atmosphere again classic Lounge, very quirky and cosy. I would recommend it, good price for what you get too!

My young grandson and I enjoy coming here. They do a babychino which he likes and toasted teacakes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy looking at the decor as they have lots of photos and lights to look at and count

After looking at all the reserved tables we asked if we could sit at one seeing as it was reserved for 3 hours later & the waitress said yes. A lot of people left after seeing all the reserved tables so I guess Loungers don't mind money going out the door. Had a sausage & egg sandwich which was nice, would of been better with brown sauce but waitress never came back after she asked us if we wanted any sauces.

Food was tasty, well priced. Service was excellent both at the bar and when ordering at the table.

I do like coming in here for my latte Sometimes with a cake. I love the atmosphere Staff are always pleasant. Toilets always clean lt can get extremely busy and tables outside are usually busy as well with customers I didn't have to wait very long for my order yes with cake. The safternoon its nice to relax in here as l do. Thanks

Good food, lovely friendly staff.

My 1 complaint was my food. My bacon was burned to a crisp and as tough as an old saddle and my fried egg was half raw with goo just about all over the top. It had to go from the kitchen to a staff member before it got to me and yet no one thought it was a disgrace to serve that to a customer. For that I would not recommend eating here unless they replace the chef.

Great place for food, dog and child friendly. Really enjoy eating here. Open into the evenings too. Breakfast not so great. Cooking skills could be improved! Very dirty stained milk jugs bit off-putting! Staff always lovely!

Good place to meet friends and have a coffee

We went for a quick meal before going to the cinema and I was really impressed by the polite and helpful young staff. We are fairly exacting old ladies, liking things done in a certain way etc. and they were so accommodating, even splitting our pudding so we could take it away in special bags. The food was really good and thoroughly reasonable. But it was the staff that left the biggest impression. It was very full, with a lot of children, so clearly a deservedly popular place.

The lounges can be sometimes be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but this one was great. Served a table of 9 well (ordered via QR codes). We ordered quite a range of food inc. tapas, burritos, full english and pancakes. All food was to a good quality for the price paid, didn't have to wait too long and the staff were decent.

How can you, I assume, microwave mushrooms and them be stone cold?! Sausage was warm but very pale, bacon cold, egg overcooked and sat on the toast which was oily and soggy as a result. Even cheap hash browns which were soggy. Pancakes clearly not made on site, which is fair, not all restaurants have the facilities, maybe don't out them on the menu? Or at the very least get a decent maple syrup, the one used here seemed pretty cheap. Server, although read told us what our drinks were, gave us the wrong ones. I'll add that we didn't inform the server of these problems because frankly, if this was the result the first time around on a fairly quiet Sunday morning, I couldn't see that another attempt would be more successful. They even ask for tips in advance (ordering on app) This is a really nice space and has s lot of potential, but if this is what's on offer for breakfast, we'll not be returning to try the extra large lunch/dinner menu. There are a lot of good eateries in and around Frome now, this is sadly not one of them.

I had a Tapas lunch today and although the Patatas Bravas was not available the Edamame Guacamole more than made up for it besides the pulled beef chili and Ciabatta garlic bread, delicious 😋

Nice restaurant, I always like the layout at the lounge bars, very comfortable. Bar staff friendly, attentive and efficient. The cheesy chips portion could be a bit bigger, was on the small side for 4.50. They have a decent array of drinks on tap and do cocktails/hot drinks. So something for everyone.

We love Cordero. Dog friendly. Lovely staff. Good place to work or read without the pressure to vacate your table quickly.

Vegetarian/vegan alternatives often turn up lukewarm for some reason. Other than that a reasonable restaurant, friendly staff and a good selection of meals.

Several of the food options listed on the menu were unavailable to order. Staff were friendly but were distracted and casually talking to each other - we had to interrupt them to get their attention. Food did arrive in good time and tasted fine but disappointed by the overall level of service.

Had a lovely meal in here at lunchtime. I've got Coeliac Disease so need a gluten free menu. Their GF menu was great with loads of things from burgers, full English breakfasts to buttermilk chicken and chips. Food arrived quickly and tasted really nice. Would recommend coming here if you have dietary requirements and of course to catch up with friends/family.

Great selection of food for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Not hurried to eat or leave our table after our meal and cocktails. We did sit far too long before we realised you need to order your food and drink at the bar.

This is one of the only decent places in Frome left. Food is brilliant, atmosphere is great, staff are friendly, added bonus that I can scan the QR code and not have to talk to anyone to order :,-)

We had a really lovely lunch here on a very busy bank holiday Monday. We had tapas and they accommodated my gluten intolerance brilliantly with a completely separate menu. Food was great: recommend the whipped feta, chicken wings and patatas bravas. Lovely atmosphere with live music. All the staff were polite, friendly and very busy. Would recommend this place and will visit again.

We have visited quite a few lounges across the country and love the variety of the menu. On this occasion the food was quite cold and the service was quite slow. However, I am giving 5 stars as I could see they were obviously rather busy and when I raised it with the lounges they rectified it and took the time to deal with it. Thanks to Grant for this. Sometimes things go wrong but it is how a company deals with it that makes the difference.

The garlic bread was horrible it was flat bread with no garlic and all horrible chilly powder stuff and The milkshake had ICE in it, I can't possibly imagine what horrors I would have seen if I ordered more that garlic bread and chips. After i left I had a greggs sausage roll and a frijj milkshake as it was much better than the food made by a "professional chef"

Any lounge is a fantastic venue, great food and drink, and a great atmosphere.

Really excellent food, loads of doggies, games to play behind the bar and very tastefully decorated. Shame about the stuck up customers that are encountered at times when at the bar.

Great venue serving excellent reasonably priced food. Nice atmosphere and super friendly and helpful staff.

Food is nice enough. Good brunch options. Interaction with staff is minimal, though. Cater for kids quite well. It's very much first come first serve, you can book a table if there's 6 or more of you otherwise it's walk in only. You will be left to sit with your empty plates till you leave and only then will you see staff again.

Best gluten free food , really nice staff too

We visited The Cordero Lounge on a really busy Saturday for a late brunch. We were fortunate to get the last empty table. We ordered our food and drinks through The Lounge App. Given how busy the restaurant was our food and drinks came out to the table in very good time. My vegetarian breakfast was excellent and I loved the fritters. My friend had the large lounge breakfast. Apart from it being really well cooked it was frankly huge. The staff are super friendly and most helpful. Perfect venue for a weekend brunch.

It was so disappointing - butter chicken that was dryer than the menu paper that would have been tastier left to long under the heat lamps also a miserable dollop of coleslaw. Sadly never again, this is fast food pretending to be better, it's worse. Yes, we complained but my partner did not want to make a fuss....

Popped in with my dad for a snack about 17.00 on a Thursday. It was quiet and a little cool inside, not much atmosphere. I suspect when busy it is great. Food was delivered quickly and was good.

We called in for a quick meal after the cinema and it was excellent. Service was friendly and polite. Food came quickly enough without giving the impression that it was microwaved! Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options.

Booked this location for a large party (14) people for brunch Sunday. Overall a concistent experience for other locations of the Lounges. - Food/Drink: Ordered the Miami Brunch with the Honey Comb Iced latte. My latte was so good, i wanted another! Pros: All coffee drinks were lovely. The Miami Brunch was extremely tasty and a generous portion. Cons: My only issue food wise with my selection was the 2.50 upcharge for 4 small bites of chorizo. I think that the cost most certainly did warrant the portion. The eggs benedict's hollandaise was lackluster. -Service: considering you're encouraged to order from the app, you might not be expecting a ton of service. Pros: With notice of being stuck in weekend market parking traffic the staff held our table an extra 10 mins. All food and drinks arrived within 15 minutes of ordering (around10:30am). Cons: Everyone wanted waterso we had to get up and go downstairs to find someone to request a pitcher for our large party so as to not be up and down. Similarly we had to request additional flatware and napkins (as the napkins were oddly cocktail napking, tiny and thing). Overall a solid experience with minimal hiccups. Considering we were a large party during brunch, we had an enjoyable experience. Would recommend.

Worst place ever. 15 minutes waiting to order drinks. Then another 15 waiting for drinks. People coming in after us were getting served first. Will not visit this one again. You need to speak with staff about hospitality and how to acknowledge customers. Tables were all full of used plates and half eaten breakfasts we had to clear our own table. Then I asked for a refund and got huffed at. Compared to the other lounges we visit, frome is the worst and needs management to put a proper system in place.

I was disappointed with our visit to the Cordero Lounge. Our food arrived, but we did not have any cutlery to eat it with, we were then brought some knives, but no forks, 5 mins after our food arrived we finally had some forks and could eat. I had ordered the Bang Bang Cauliflower, the Cauliflower was great, but the bed of noodles it was sat was inedible due to it being swimming in greasy oil, see picture. It was a real shame because we are usually very happy with the lounges, they cater for all ages and tastes.

Bit too noisy with music and people for us. Food was good, bar and waiting staff very smiley and helpful.

Been to a number of this chain of bar/restaurants. Good range of beer on tap plus the food is consistently good and well priced. Lovely casual and easy atmosphere in all the lounges.

I have been coming to Lounges and specifically Cordero for a couple of years now. I didn’t realise I hadn’t left a review! Comparing the experience to Wetherspoons feels like an insult but it isn’t because it has the same positives but improves on everything. The experience is efficient and fast, with really good quality food every time that is served by really friendly and professional staff. I have never had to wait long, never had an issue with food or drink and never had any other concerns of any kind. You know exactly what you’re getting and the consistency is amazing not only here but actually across the brand as I’ve been to multiple other Lounges and had the same perfect experience. It is also really not at all expensive and I am amazed at their attention to details with allergies. They have a massive Gluten Free menu which for me as a coeliac is very helpful when eating out can be a challenge. I’m certain I will be coming here for years to come :)

Found ourselves in Frome ahead of a concert and looking somewhere for some food/a sit down. We do quite like a 'lounge' as all very easy going and does what it says on the tin. Bottom line, we were not disappointed here. Went in - from a cold outside - and it was warm and jolly vibrant. Seemed all the good folk of Frome were out in force. Great service and food. Despite the number of people the food arrived very promptly etc. So did the job. Always do find the lighting in these places a tad on the dim side. Maybe it's just the 'effect' (and a reflection on my age).
