One of our favorite pubs while staying in Glastonbury! Dogs welcomed, adorable back garden, loads of charm and a very friendly staff. No food, but they happily suggest you bring your own; even providing cutlery! Stop by and enjoy a pint in the garden with your dog (or human) friends!

We were drawn in by the 'bring your own food' offer and brought some excellent lunchtime pasties from the bakery down the road. However, suffice to say we won't be returning to Beckets any time soon. The random and loud jukebox adds nothing to this otherwise quiet pub. The toilets were .....🤔 unkempt The glassware wasn't clean And overall, not a good experience. So, for those reasons, we are OUT! Buyer beware😉

Not great. It promised much from the outside, but it was pretty run down inside and the beer wasn't good.

Very friendly landlady served us. Amazing beer garden at the rear of the Inn. It is amazing that you can take takeaway food in there, and supply plates and cutlery. Def go back again

Great local pub with the best beer garden in Glastonbury

My Husband and I arrived in Glastonbury this afternoon and wanted something to eat we walked into this pub , to find no one behind the bar then realised you bring your own food after seeing the notice, so we left when we walk out of the front door, the guy that worked in there followed us shouting “this is not a bloody walk through “ in shock 😳 I replied, “pardon? I was actually looking for somewhere that served food “ we had not walked through this pub at all, he was very rude and abrupt , needless to say we won’t bother going in this pub again, I’m not surprised the pub was empty, this chap needs training in customer service!!!!!

A cracking little pub that has resisted having its various rooms knocked into one antiseptic kitchen to become a restaurant. Long live the local!

Great traditional pub. They all local takeaway food. So you buy from the Chinese or Indian etc and sit down and have your drinks in the pub. Gets packed. Really great atmosphere . They may do their own food. But being able to sit down and relax when restaurants all closed is a huge bonus

Lovely pub, usually quite quiet midweek, but also they host craft and other clubs which brings in a friendly bunch. They don't serve food, but have plates and cutlery out to bring in your own food. We've had a drink and collected a take away Chinese.

Plastic glasses even though we were sat inside about sums this place up. Staff were friendly is a positive.

Personally, I didn't find this pub or staff at all welcoming. My friend just needed to use their loo, so I brought a drink in order for them to do so. It definitely seemed the type of place just for the locals. Maybe we just went at a bad time of day, I don't know. I do not recommend it.

Lovely place, great secluded garden to the rear. You can even bring your own takeaway and eat it in lovely surroundings, they even provide the cutlery!

This is one of my local pubs but I've not really used it for years, but in the past few weeks have frequented several times and it is much improved and more customers making it a bit more buzzy

Nice pub where you can bring your own food. Has a pool table and some other pub games, has a huge and lovely garden. Selection on tap and bottle is quite limited, but as you’re allowed to bring your own food it balances out. Atmosphere is quite cosy.

Friendly staff, sadly no food. You can bring your own food though. Jukebox is very fun though and for a pound you will have 5 songs.... So metal it was! :)

Very unfriendly staff, did not acknowledge us or even say hello as we entered just said 'shut the door ' before we really had a chance to close it behind us. This was on a sunny August day as well not exactly winter! Beer garden very tatty and tables and seats covered with snail trails and bird mess. They are also tied down for some reason and i tripped over the wires when leaving. There are many amazing pubs in Glastonbury, this is not one of them and we will never go back to it.

Staff very rude when asking a general question about the town then went outside with drinks quite messy around stairs some tatty boots as plants pots ??? Also when being served by lady strong smell of body odour.. cmon boots the chemist is next door will not be going back in a hurry ….

A lovely, welcoming, community pub. As they don't serve food, you can take your own food in. Beckets supplies plates, cutlery etc. Last night, we enjoyed a game of pool while waiting for our Chinese takeaway to be ready, then enjoyed it over a pint of Stag bitter

Quaint pub and friendly efficient staff. I lost my earring (28th Dec - now found) and the bar (land?) lady was very kind helpful and understanding. Always a must visit when we pop over to lovely Glastonbury 😊

Proper locals boozer, full of character and a landlady who knows how to run a pub. Pleasantly surprised to see bitter from Lancashire on tap. Good change of gear from the commercial pubs in the centre. Do drop by for a proper pint. Recommended.

I'm disabled and they tried to charge me £1 to use the toilet or said there was a public convenience a mile away... absolutely disgusting... They should be ashamed.

Really lovely pub, friendly landlady and lovely old dog Buster who we became very fond of. Nothing was too much trouble, plates and cutlery provided for takeaways. Liked it so much we went back the following day. Locals very friendly and the land lady knows everyone and those she doesn't is equally welcoming too. Little bit worn in places but we like that. Proper decent pub.

Landlady seems to have given up on the pub and doesn't seem bothered about customers. Great if your want a beer (very limited selection) in the best pub beer garden in Glastonbury. Could be a gem with a little effort.

Proper PUB.Good ales plenty of choice of ciders.

This pub doesn’t serve food, although you can take your own in. The back garden is pleasant but needs sprucing up. When I asked for the dirty table to be wiped, all the lady did was spray it vaguely - she didn’t even wipe it! This left bird mess & sticky areas. Ugh! The whole place would be so much more attractive if it was cleaned & re-painted.

Friendly local pub with a great atmosphere!

Went in for a game of pool and a beer. I ordered a half a beer moretti and my friend a fosters. Hers tasted fine but I tried mine and it tasted of chemical.. when I told them it tasted off they wouldn't even try it or replace it. Both my friend and I have worked in pubs and bars and could tell that the lines hadn't been cleaned out properly. That chemical stuff could kill someone. They just weren't interested in serving customers and were standoffish. They didnt make us feel welcome just came across like they were put upon by us being in the pub. Wouldn't go back.

Lunch time pint at the Beckets Inn.£9.00 for two pints average price for the town. We sat in the beer garden which on a hot day is beautiful with the trees for shade. Lovely pub the staff were not to welcoming at first but after a short while in the town, we discovered this is the norm. We would definitely go again

The pub is mostly frequented by locals. Is not fancy , but staff is friendly, they have a really lovely beer garden and you can take your on food to eat there as long as you buy drinks. They even supply you with plates, fork and knife. They have a old fashion jubox with loads of music from the 50s yo the 90s. Thrre id also a pool table and dart board.

Fantastic pub, always friendly and always got a good cider on. Proper mint garden too, and the dogs are lovely. Def worth a visit, and another, and another. Love it.
