Lovely food, the burrito is a meal in itself

My experience of being inside this newer Italian restaurant was with that of being rather classy them going around tables with specific seasonings & parmesan plus wine bottles out on show.

Had a fabulous Sunday roast here, delicious and well presented The staff & owners were warm and welcoming. We will definitely return.

Another great Sunday roast. Service was friendly, quick and helpful. The roast arrived quickly and was hot with plenty of meat, veg and some fab roast spuds. All the family enjoyed their food and we will be back again soon.

Absolutely awful ordered through Uber eats. No delivery. Rang the restaurant and the poor girl on the phone tried to be helpful whilst being shouted at that they tried to deliver and called me three times. None of this happened I was in and my husband was out the front no one came near our house. No one called me and they refused to give a refund. Edit: Eventually arrived

AVOID!! I had a lamb donner kebab which gave a two weeks worth of diarrhoea due to being infected with Giardia.

Second time I ordered from Mario Pizza and pieces of plastic were found both times. Very dangerous!!

My wife & I had booked this to pay a visit before the boxing last Saturday. The booking said it would open at 5pm so we turned up at 6:10pm to be told it was closed! I then asked the polite ladies at the entrance if it was really only open for 1 hour that night and they laughed and said yes. All a bit of a waste of time for 1 hour! Don’t bother wasting your time.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. While some staff are friendly, others come across as quite miserable, which can make the overall atmosphere unwelcoming. What’s particularly concerning is how certain minority customers are treated—it’s hard not to feel that there’s an underlying bias in how some people are handled. I hesitate to use the word "racist," but the behaviour I’ve observed is edging dangerously close to that. The food is decent, as you’d expect from reheated meals, but the cleanliness of the dining area leaves much to be desired—tables often aren’t cleaned properly between diners. If you’re lucky, you might catch one of the more pleasant staff members on a good day, and they might actually treat you well. Otherwise, it’s a gamble.

Came here are ordered 2 coffees and two breakfasts. Coffees were great. Staff came over with 2 plates of toast and said for us. No we replied. I showed the receipt and was told there had been an error. Fine, things happen. Then came back with 2 small breakfasts, so showed receipt showing 1 small and 1 large. Third time lucky? Noooo. Right orders but food lukewarm at best. Given a refund but that was a palaver. I'm afraid that is the last time I'd order food from here.

This is our local, I've been coming for years, but in the past couple of years, I got my partner into it too. I haven't had it in a while as I was pregnant last year and just couldn't deal with the idea of Chinese. But!! I finally fancied one, and it is still. The. Best. Ever. (personally, of course) The food is so dang good.
