Mario Pizza Italian Artisan Style in Exeter

Second time I ordered from Mario Pizza and pieces of plastic were found both times. Very dangerous!!

Tryed this for the first time Shockley bad would never use again. Spent over £30 got a free pizza but all our meals were vile

After using marios for years we have come to find the last two orders have been completely different to the reason we used marios so regularly. A big reason is the change in Chicken for there Shish kebabs but the overall standard is well below par from our earlier experiences. Tonight we tried again as we thought it may be one bad experience to find that it was a big disappointment again. The only saving grace in the order was the cold free margarita pizza which was actually ok Time to say goodbye

Known for their pizza, but they also do kebabs, and to be fair, it was lovely ,nice spiced chicken and donner in a mixed kebab , loads of it, will definitely go there again.

Waited 3 hours for our take away order.. really disappointed, made several calls and was told several times it was on its way.

Ordered online and paid up front. Arrived at the appointed time to find they had missed my order. They were apologetic and explained some large orders had come in just before mine (evidenced by the number of pizzas going out as I waited). They got on with preparing and cooking my order straight away. Yes it was 20 minutes late but a couple of cans of pop were offered as a gesture of good will but the pizzas were definitely worth waiting for. Very tasty and plentiful. Well done to the staff at Mario’s for making good on a mistake.

Absolutely top notch and best takeaway in Exeter by a long stretch! All fresh, and pizzas cooked in a proper pizza oven. So tasty and far better than any Dominos, and cheaper too. A-Star service also. Invited us to watch our meals being cooked and they were all so friendly. I recommend anyone this takeaway, they will not disappoint!

I have had take away from here several times, and it is amazing value when you get a free pizza if spending over £15.00. The pizzas are always freshly made and cooked in the wood fired oven, so much better than any Dominos or the like. The kebabs are tasty with alot of fillings. Beware the hot sauce is hot! Cant fault it. I have always picked up the takeaway to make sure it is fresh from the oven.

Wow absolutely amazing pizza. I’ve expected Dominos type pizza experience but actually got proper Italian pizza. If you like Franco Manca you will enjoy this one too. PS Negative reviews are from people who have never tried Italian pizza 😂

ordered for second time this week ordered donner meat and chips with all sald and mayo came with nothing called them said would replace and turned up with the missing salad and sauce the other night all food was cold wife rang first person hung up on her ater being rude and blunt towards her second person said would get manager to call back and didnt food before last two visits always good

Always get my Pizza from hear. Tonight was not good, burnt on the outside and under cooked on the inside. The pizza did not taste very good. Sadly this is the second time this has happened so will not be going back.

Just had a takeaway pepperoni tans it was amazing all freshly done and cooked how it should be and at a reasonable price Staff super friendly

The pizza was poor and the service was atrocious. I ordered a pizza at 9:40 in the evening. My mate’s arrived on time. However, mine did not show up! I waited an hour, no show! The I rang and got the response “it’s on it’s way sir!” I waited another hour, No pizza arrived! Then I rang again, they did not answer my call! I rang on my friends phone, and got called a silly man and they hung up on me. This is simply not acceptable and I do not recommend this money hungry company to anyone!

Food was delicious! Ordered kebab & meat pizza and received a free Margherita pizza for spending over £15. The kebab was very generously filled and wasn’t dry at all! (Very yummy and even the chips were so good and fresh!) I don’t usually eat Margherita pizzas as I like my meat but it was amazing! Very authentic! Overall very happy with our order.

Absolutely gorgeous. The dough was light and flavoursome and could easily have been straight out of a back street cafe in Italy. Both myself and my partner are over the moon to have found this place and we won’t be getting pizza from anywhere else...

I did not enjoy my pizza, it had a very strong buttery taste. We ordered pizzas to takeaway, and they arrived not even sliced.

Very few restaurants deliver to my town, find this gem delivering during the lockdown has been wonderful. I highly recommend their Kebabs! Good food and good delivery times.

Lovely pizza, much more authentic than a dominoes. Noticeably not swimming in grease from cheese and really tasty. We had a bit of a wait as a big order went in before ours , so we were offered complementary garlic pizza and drinks. Would definitely...

Slightly out of the town centre in Pinhoe but it is so worth the drive! Amazing, authentic italian pizza at a reasonable price with all the toppings options you could possibly want.
