An outstanding alfresco experience! What a fabulous experience. I have been wanting to come to High Grange for ages and it certainly didnât disappoint. We enjoyed the most amazing feast sourced from a 5 mile radius. What a beautiful setting too. We watched the sunset with fresh strawberry cocktails and enjoyed watching all of the food being prepared in Green Eggs. Friendly efficient staff. Weâll be back! Couldnât recommend it more highly

Excellent welcome from Spike and Vicky, a M charming pub tucked away in a picturesque place, stunning views, brilliant home cooked food and a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. So good to see these two people obviously loving life here, which clearly reflects on what they offer. Superb home cooked food , idyllic spot, charming pub, friendly & welcoming, whatâs not to like!

The food at The Butchers Block is fresh, yummy and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! There is a wide variety to chose from including vegetarian options and healthier options too.

The food was okay, however, the bread was quite overdone and there was a lack of gluten free options and these were not discussed with us when we came. We did put this into the booking beforehand, therefore we expected some sort of welcome and direction of what was gluten free.

Birthday lunch for two wives. Only people there but Steve, the owner , could not have been more helpful and friendly. The reastraunt is open to non residents as this is a mix of self-catering and hotel site. Food prepared fresh and coked to order. As some of you know im in a wheelchair and came to the downstairs enterence, wrong. When you drive onto the site carry on around to the right to the back where it is wheelchair accessible. Upstairs also has a disabled toilet. Food wise too much to say here so please take a look at the website. Will we be going back, oh definitely.

We had researched local places to get a cream tea in the area - we were on holiday in Membury. As this was only 10 mins away from where we were staying, we drove to The Teapot Cafe. It was a lovely looking cafe within a farm shop area. (Lots of other lovely shops too.) It was very busy outside - we wouldn't sit out side though as there were too many wasps and dogs. We went inside where there were plenty of tables. We went to the counter to order our creams teas to find out they had run out of scones! Such a shame. They offered us cake but we were there for the cream teas! Sadly we decided to leave.

If you want a mouldy room which is in a state of disrepair then this is it. Absolutely disgusting for the amount of money I paid to stay here, toilet had a leak which had mould all round the floor area, the bath/shower had mould on the walls, the skirting boards had all cracks and was in a bad state of disrepair, a hole in the back of the bathroom door, an alarm kept going off around 05:30am on sunday/Monday morning, only person to complain to was a duty manager from greggs who look after the rooms apparently. Absolutely fuming, and I still had no response from the owner in regards to this matter so have seeked legal advice. BE WARNED DONT STAY HERE
