Visited Honiton and discovered this lovely little gift shop and cafe. A great selection of beautiful and unique gifts, with very friendly and welcoming staff. The cafe was very pretty and inviting with a great selection of homemade cakes. I had a lovely coffee with a piece of twix cake which was absolutely delicious.

I've been coming here for about 10 years only ocationally but it never disappoints the cake especially the carrot cake with cream frosting is the most delicious cake seriously every mouthful is a literal pleasure the place it's self is so cosy with log burner and comfy sofa the people are so friendly and welcoming. I also recommend there restaurant in Honiton the yellow deli again here high quality and great service. Thank you from Rebekah, Michael and Fred

Solo Brazilian in Kerswell went to Honiton for lunch and stumbled into Mamma Miaâs. My goodness what a spot!! Delicious!! Had the beef with fried eggs and asked for rice instead of chips. A classic staple in Brazil. Then for desert had a lovely coffee mousse. 10/10! Very well priced. The couple that runs the restaurant is very friendly and personable. Will be coming back for more!

Great lunchtime visit today. Excellent value, warm, welcoming atmosphere, good food and good coffee. 2 children (4+6) were happy to play on the equipment whilst their grownups chatted and sad to leave at the end of our slot.

The best we have ever tasted, so much choice too, we highly recommend. It was so good we went back the following night. The service was excellent too

Lovely little cafe with a handful of tables dotted amongst the gifts. My wife and I both had the seafood salad for lunch which wonderful - packed with high quality crab, prawns and smoked salmon. Alas too full to eat the wonderful looking cakes. I suspect people visiting on the off-chance may do well to find a table as I suspect this may become a well-kept secret amongst locals.

A fantastic place to spend a few days. The hotel is dog friendly and they don't charge for dogs. The extensive grounds are ideal for walking the dog and then you can proceed to the bar for a refresher or an evening meal (providing you booked in advance) and the pooch is welcome to join you. The hotel also offers a bookable afternoon cream tea. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was not great but our room was comfortable and the free WiFi worked perfectly. A kettle, Tea and coffee and bottle of water were provided in the room along with an iron and board, a hairdryer and a portable fan

What a find! Stopped in Honiton for a much needed late lunch and loo stop and were blown away by the friendly welcome! Such an intriguing, quirky place (donât miss the gorgeous view from upstairs!), such delicious food (we shared a yellow submarine âsandwichâ (such an inadequate term!) and cranberry and cashew salad), such incredible drinks (totally recommend the Stress SOS tea - had to buy a box to take with us), but most of all, such lovely people. Weâre already planning a return visit. Thank you.

What a wonderful find! You could walk down the High Street and miss this special retreat as itâs accessible via a narrow alleyway from the main road pavement. Keep an eye out for, "The Vine Tea Rooms" sign above the alley entrance. Just 50 feet in and youâll find yourself in a beautifully kept secluded garden away from the noise and busy market place. A real sun trap in summer and a great place to sit outside and enjoy a cream tea and a slice of cake. Equally you could be sipping an artisan gin or one of the local ales available from the well appointed bar. On entering the premises youâll be welcomed by one of the friendly and very helpful staff showing you to your table in either the tea room or the restaurant / bar area where there is a classic Devon menu to peruse. The local speciality of the day board is displayed above the fireplace and includes delicious starters, mains and deserts which will keep you coming back for more! Equally on a winters or rainy day itâs the perfect place to find a cosy table by the roaring open fire and have that delectable "winter warmer"! A real gem that will make you look forward to your return!
