We have visited on a couple of occasions and it has always been quiet in the time we visited. We ordered some lattes, food and cakes on our last visit. The food was great and the cakes were really tasty. We felt let down though, as one of the lattes we ordered was only 2/3 full when delivered. We did point this out and asked for it to be topped up, the lady took the cup away and brought it back looking exactly the same...... disappointing.

I love pasties and go daft on them when I’m in the South west. I came to Honiton as I knew they had a Warrens bakery (please see my other review) which I’d good memories of. Having got my supplies from them I spotted this shop on the high st on my way back to the car. Seduced in as I always am by baked goods I saw they did a “Devon pasty”. It looked good enough to get one to try despite my previous Warrens purchases. And I am so glad I did ! I must have tried 15 different bakeries in the 2 weeks I was in the area and this pasty was hands down the best of them all. In fact nothing came close. It had a generous mixed filling, well seasoned and a pastry that was in the right proportion to the filling. Please take a bow…..I’ll be back 😋

We are regular customers here and the food is always outstanding. We are treated more like family than customers...never rushed...and the staff are not only polite but very friendly. Having dined in many Nepalese and Indian restaurants in the past...I can firmly recommend The Brave Gurkhas at Honiton for fantastic cuisine and friendly atmosphere.

The best curry ever the chicken was cooked and moist.absolutely delicious. It's the best Chinese in Honiton. The food arrival lovely and hot. The containers are plastic and not those takeaway tin foils dishes so I can recycle them as well which is very good for our environment

What can I say. Arrived in Honiton a town i know well, but not my town of residence. On a cold January evening, just gone 6pm. Decided for ease, Fish & Chips would do. Entered their establishment, 3 screened counters, 2 staff & one customer. Ordered immediately to stand outside, as only one person allowed on at a time. Paid 10.50 for Fish, Chips & Sauce. The young girl served me, who was pleasant, while the own slumped over the till deep into her phone. Rude! They were over cooked, rubbery, had a strange taste as if the fat was old. Could not finish them, had to throw them away. For a proprietor who owns there own business, she had zero customer respect. Which is why they own & always will do, a sleazy chip shop on a sleazy street in a small town. Not a place to visit or even give them the grace of your hard earned money.
