Went for Sunday lunch with friends. Excellent meal, plenty of choice. Friendly and efficient staff.

Personal amable, buen ambiente, la comida estaba por debajo de la media. Posiblemente el Curry más graso que he tenido. El pan también estaba frío a la llegada.

Each time we visit our caravan in Cornwall we eat at this fantastic cafe. The food is fantastic! My favourite is the cottage pie, you will never taste better! Breakfasts are greT too. Staff are always pleasant. Highly recommended.

Great little pub with a fantastic atmosphere. Landlord and landlady make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment that you leave. Keep it up guys 💪

I have had many a Chinese takeaway from KD Chinese and it always has been first class. The service has always been good and never had to wait too long. Highly recommend 👌

So I am very disappointed to have to write this , as a regular customer at This little garden centre we loved to meet as a family and have breakfast here , but our last couple of visits we haven’t been very pleased with the quality and the service , we noticed a change in menu and possibly a different cook , we always go early before it gets to busy as usually there is 4-6 of us and we know we’re a bigger table so get it ordered early , this time we went again arrived around 9-9.15 am wasn’t busy we ordered and had drinks delivered , 1 hour later we received the food and it was very disappointing, overcooked , dry bacon and sausage , some parts were hot some cold , they’ve removed pancakes off the menu for some reason , I would of thought they would be the easiest to prepare , we didn’t make a fuss while we were there but unfortunately I don’t think we will return now . Such a shame as this is a place that is convenient for us , and we enjoy a catch up with extended family . Also what I presume was a manager seemed to be very grumpy and snapped at my father , I am very surprised as everyone is usually very friendly this is why we have returned in the past . Put it down to a bad day I don’t know but I feel very disappointed .

Came from Newquay to Par by train, searched for a good roast dinner near me and this came out tops, walked all the way from the station and found nothing?! Not even the locals knew about it?

Always good food here. The service is on the slower side as they'll "do it dreckly". During busier times, it's been rather hard to achieve hot food, speedy service and the ability to gain all the utensils you need for a meal. As someone with a locals pass, I've been here several times this year and it's truly pot luck with the service here. The self service cleanup situation is wonderful, but for those who want table service and to be waited on, that is not what the ethos is about. You gotta do things yourself. As for the pricing, yes whilst some of it may be "overpriced", I would hasten to argue that if you don't want to pay too much to begin with, don't bother coming in. Lovely experiences here as ever.

Great Service with courteous and friendly staff, but the best bit was Dinner. All the dishes were superb, but the Special Steak Suet Pie was spectacular, best steak and delicious gravy. You'd go a long way to find better than this. Thank you Brittania, we had a great evening
