The Corner Cafe at Par Market in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Each time we visit our caravan in Cornwall we eat at this fantastic cafe. The food is fantastic! My favourite is the cottage pie, you will never taste better! Breakfasts are greT too. Staff are always pleasant. Highly recommended.

Top staff. Top boss. Top food. Lived here over 20 years. Always use these for my Sunday roast when I’m lazy. Fellow northerner too.

My Mum took me out for roast dinner today but sadly I had no lunch at all. My Mum raves about this place for roast dinners. But sadly I have a medical condition meaning I cannot eat gluten. This is the first place I have come across that didn’t have Gluten Free Gravy! What made it worse was the clear lack of knowledge with the suggestion I have vegetable gravy which obviously has gluten in. Then I was offered a jacket potato like I was a vegetarian. I had come to have roast beef dinner not a potato. So I had no lunch and had to watch my Mum and friend eat theirs. In todays world it’s very easy for Cafes and restaurants to have Gluten free options both bread and gravy as it’s common place now. I also can’t have dairy so didn’t want to risk anything else as I couldn’t be sure they would have dairy free spread hence why was better not to eat at all.

You cannot fault the food here. Such great value for money. The service was also excellent. Keep up the fantastic work

Had lunch today at the Cafe. As usual the service was great, friendly, fast and efficient. I had the cottage pie and it was more like a whole cottage! 🤣. Loads of food for the money. Mum mum had Pork, egg and chips and her plate full was massive too. Would definitely recommend this no frills eating place. Just make sure you have an empty tummy on arrival.
