During COVID lockdown I do yearn for something yummy. Thank Heavens Tom's is still open! This week I popped in for my usual Organic Sour Dough Bread, and Organic Malt Loaf, and decided to indulge in a Saffron Bun (whilst on the move). It was sooo delicious, moist, and perfect! I also managed to hide it from the ever marauding seagulls of St Austell - BEWARE!!! low flying thefts of anything eaten outside

Came here Saturday for the 1st time, and was not disappointed at all!! As soon as you walk in it felt so relaxing, literally just stepping through the door the atmosphere was s so different to outside… The decor; colours were calming and generously thought through with the most cutest but not over done little theme of cats!! So anyone who’s obsessed with cats, take them there for the quirkyness! Lovely little selection on the menu just maybe a couple more options for toppings would make it even better and a couple more options for savoury food There was a tiny wait on food but it was absolutely fine as you can tell and see it’s made all fresh, and was definitely worth the wait, the food was beautiful… Staff seemed chirpy, bubbly and lovely people! We will definitely be back soon to try something different!! Thankyou for giving st austell somewhere worth going too! Good luck for the future and I hope you carry on succeeding with this place💜🐈

Nothing good to say about this restaurant. No ambience. Decor poor. Food very poor. Service ok. Not sure why it’s rated over 4.

In a town that is pretty runs down, this place is a little diamond in the rough. The service was fantastic (small request to change a meal which was dealt with really well). Staff great and friendly with our kids. Food was excellent and the portions very generous. Would highly recommend this place to eat.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I have come across, and I have used a lot on my travels. The batter on the sweet & sour king prawns was simply fantastic. Highly recommended. If I lived down here I’d be a regular. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Just tried the chicken sharers box with the louisiana spiced chips, with the peppers and onion mixed in with the chips made it a large meal, definitely for 3 or 4 people, great to have something different in town to try worth trying

Order from Spicy Dragon regularly but on this occasion we hadn't had takeaway for a while & our daughter had been extremely poorly, in hospital for almost 2 weeks & had to have a big operation & all she wanted was Chinese, her favourite honey ribs. Unfortunately te wrong ribs were delivered but I called & explained, the man on the phone was so understanding & kind & within 10 minutes the restaurant had delivered us the correct honey ribs. Always amazing, never failed us, thank you 😊

Don't judge a book by it's cover. It might look a little rough around the edges but once you get inside you'll love the atmosphere. The food tastes amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even gave our table free starters on the house, couldn't ask for anything more!
