I had not realised it had been taken over and menu had changed giving no healthy options. I ordered gluten free classic chicken burger which arrived unlabelled but didn't want to confirm it was gf, as we'd had to remind them of the coleslaw order along with our drinks. Presentation of meal was poor, my bun was small and overspilling with lettuce. The 3 strips of breaded chicken were over cooked and dry, however the coleslaw was very nice. We felt customer service was poor, no check on whether food was OK or if we wanted more drinks etc. Poor value for money. I won't be rushing back sadly.

I've been itching to try this place but was a tad disappointed. I hadn't realised it had been taken over and only fast food type options available and no healthy choices. I'm celiac and was assured the classic chicken burger was gluten free. It arrived without a label but didn't feel I could check as we'd had to remind staff of our coleslaw order and water, I already feel I'm putting staff out when asking for gluten free. The bun was really small with lots of lettuce and 3 strips of over cooked chicken. The coleslaw was amazing though but still felt it was not value for money.

Enjoyed a bottomless brunch for a friends birthday yesterday and everything was great. Food was delicious and all served promptly. I had the Buffalo fries and they were insane! Great selection of drinks including cocktails and all included in the price. We weren’t kept waiting, drinks were flowing constantly for the full 90 mins. Service was great too. Thanks very much, I am sure we will be back if you’ll have us 😉

Our first visit (finally) and it certainly won't be the last. Really friendly staff, gorgeous freshly prepared food, good portion sizes and good value for money.

We haven’t been here for a while and decided one morning to pop in for breakfast. We must have timed it right as we hadn’t booked, we got a good seat in the booth area and lots of other people came in afterwards! Good selection of food and drink, there was a bit of a wait for our breakfasts but it did not bother us. We had the hogs pudding missing from one of the breakfasts so we asked someone, who went up and got one fresh for us. Nothing was too much trouble, good prices too.

Was seated, after 25 minutes of waiting, no service, not even any menus, then a new group came in got seated with menus and food ordered straight away First time going in and quite disappointed.

Just had a takeout - absolutely banging, melt in the mouth flavours throughout all of our meals 👌 unfortunately I had to wait 5mins on collection and subsequently purchased a pint - oops 🫣

Can’t speak highly enough of our experience here today. Family of 4 arriving without booking and they managed to fit us in which was brilliant. The Menu (as the name suggests) is mostly wings, burgers and hot dogs which again was fine by us. Without any exaggeration the ‘Cluck n Dirty’ burger was the best burger I’ve ever eaten, wife and kids loved theirs too. We were even given a roll of a giant dice to see if we’d get the whole meal (£50+) for free! Thanks for a great experience we’ll definitely be back!

Wow these pancakes are just beautiful, my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly, if you are visiting st austell moustache jacks x cluck n chuck is a must, from the breakfast to the hot chocolates to the burgers, everything is always amazing, freshly cooked, hot food, great staff, my friend and I visited for breakfast with her new born who she breastfed in there and felt so comfortable and welcome, the staff can't do enough to make your visit an awesome one 🤎

Highly recommend this place. Food is outstanding. The breakfast menu has so much choice, my go to is usually one of the stacked bagels if having delivery. The Full English is delicious, and pancakes are also a firm favourite. If you love a great burger this is your place! Fries are always on point also. I am a frequent customer, and I cannot rave about this place enough. Always have great friendly service, with a nice relaxed vibe.

Amazing, always 10/10! I’ve enjoyed a bottomless brunch, numerous takeaways and they’ve even catered for my works staff party (for 40 people). Everything is always perfect, tasty and takeaways always hot! It’s not easy catering for 40 people and delivering it all piping hot, but they smashed it out of the park. And we will more than likely be booking again for next year 🤤

We went back but left quickly after seeing the new menu. Since Cluck Cluck took it over, they replaced the good menu with burgers, chips and hot dogs. Service usually quite slow and a bit brash, so it was only worth going there back when the menu was healthier - which stood out as something different in the area. No longer :(

Drove from Plymouth to eat here and binge on some good food. The gent who dealt with us was approachable and friendly. We ordered multiple dishes thinking the portions wouldn’t be humongous. Our food arrived and it was excellent. Most places that offer “loaded” anything often cheap out and just top the dish with the toppings on offer. The food itself was layered and so full of flavour. It was phenomenal. Completely worth the money. We had to take the food home which we devoured later on in the evening. Even reheated it was full of flavours. The tenders are so moist and delicious. We will be making trips just to dine with you in the future. The food is exceptional. I’ve not had deep fried pickles in about 7 years. Their take is the best and brought me so much joy to see on the menu. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. The bill came to £42 which compared to most chain restaurants is a bargain. The food is insane. Thank you.

My wife and I came to at Austell for a few nights, the first night we tried cluck n Chuck and were blown away by the food, we got it to go as we had the dog at home, ordering on the website is easy as anything. Very polite staff members and the food…….THE FOOD I had the pulled pork burger and my wife had the cluck n cheese. Absolutely phenomenal food, the chips, seasoned and fried to perfection, popping chicken was incredible and the burgers were the best we’d ever had. We ended up going back to cluck n Chuck the next 3 nights and didn’t even try any other takeaway. Would 100% recommend. Wish we could have sat in but had the dog at home, inside looked amazing with a really lovely vibe.

Best chicken I’ve ever eaten, by far. Staff are excellent and nothing is too much for them. I used to come here just for the food but after learning that MJXCC hosts a night for trans+ people has really sealed the deal for me. Will definitely be doing more to support the business. Ordered a takeaway from here after looking online for somewhere to eat in St Austell and we were not disappointed. Burgers were great and the chicken tenders nicely flavoured. Only problem was we ordered too much as we didn't know how big the portion sizes would be. Definitely eat here again! Clucking good chicken 😁

Thought we would pop in as hours have changed and are serving until 21:00 hours as we were shopping in town. We had chicken burgers but so much choice…the food was absolutely lovely…and the onions rings were gorgeous..! We were served by Joe who was really nice and friendly …..so all in all yes I will be returning and this place is highly recommended…!!

Popped in on a whim looking for a late lunch for a family of 5. Nicely laid out venue with ample space around seating. Service was excellent. Food portions were large and overall quality excellent. Southern fried gravy was spot on with the chips. I had a CFC burger which was rich and filling. Kids portions were good although a tad rich for their tastes (quite salty on the popping chicken). Coffee was ok, but the milkshakes were exactly as described! Skittles and milk, who knew. Overall an excellent place for lunch.

Popped in for lunch. Food was fabulous - bacon loaded fries which my 6year old demolished, and the hot honey poppers were to die for! Even my fussy 3 year old cleared his chicken poppers and chips, winning 🙌🏻! Atmosphere was lovely, service was equally good. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in the area.

I wish I could give more stars! This place is AMAZING! We came to the area for a week holiday and we have come every single day for either their premier coffee or their exquisite food. The coffee is local bean, ground fresh and the staff are great barista's, they will be making you the best coffee available in Cornwall! The food was mind blowing; especially after being let down by terrible food at another establishment. The Chili Con Carne is so flavoursome, the correct amount of spice and balanced beautifully. Nachos are fresh and care is put into the serving. Our group ordered three different loaded fries, they have all been incredible! The hot dog and the chicken dishes also greatly exceeded our expectations. They even packed up our dessert so we could enjoy back at the b&b! Extremely impressed and gutted this place is 5 hours away from home! If only they would deliver that far!! Atmosphere is great, the staff are lovely, welcoming & chilled and the music they play is a total vibe. Literally couldn't say one negative thing about this place!!

Upon my daughters request and my first time here despite living in the area for.many years I've been a chef and in hospitality industry for.many years so here's some constructive criticism - More staff than customers - Waited 10 mins before our order was taken and had to go to the bar -The beans on our breakfasts were cold - Given the amount of staff to customer ratio it's standard upon serving to ask, is there anything else I can get for.you (ie.sauces) we were not asked - also 5 mins after serving you should go to the table and ask is everything alright, this didn't happen. If it did I would.of.mentioned the cold.beans Apart from that the breakfast was OK Even a male worker/owner was having a meeting apart improving things. Well here you go for a starters 👆 Also lady owner at bar on laptop . No interaction at all . Basic customer.service.goes along way and based off.my first experience probably wouldn't return

My husband and I popped in for a late lunch. He had Jack's XL English Breakfast (w/o mushrooms or tomatoes, as he doesn't like them) and I had the Philly Cheese Steak toastie and fries. Mine came with a bit of coleslaw and it was really good...the gerkins (pickles because I'm an American) were sweet but I prefer mine dill (sour) . We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was good. I was disappointed to learn that they only do takeaway on the evenings they are open. We don't live that close to St Austell and would have loved to make this a date night out. But we do recommend Moustache Jack's.

My wife and best friend had organised a surprise 50 th Birthday party at Moustache Jacks. I cannot thank the bar/restaurant enough for helping to make my 50 th so special. The atmosphere was great, everyone enjoyed themselves and the food was delicious. There is parking nearby and Taxis can easily drop ensuring all your guests can enjoy a drink, they also welcome children accompanied by an adult. I cannot recommend this little gem in Biddock Court, St Austell enough, it was a magic evening and thank you to Dave the owner and his staff for making it possible.

**One of the best restaurants in St Austell, a favourite of mine!** I wrote that review 5 years ago, when it was an actual restaurant. You could go there and have a three course meal and it was amazing. Then it became a burger bar, and now it's just a cafe. Still nice but I really miss the days when it was a proper restaurant. It was so so much better then :-(

Honestly the best food I’d ever tasted. If I was on death row this would be in top contention for my last meal. the tuna melt??? DELECTABLE and the milkshakes were so so so incredible. To top it off whoever was on the music played some absolute nostalgia hitting bangers. The colour scheme of the inside was >>>> We’d been trekking the coastal path for 4 days and this was our final stop- can’t actually describe in words how lovely it was for this to be our final pit stop. also want to mention that the window cleaner across the road was utter entertainment (mans was obviously getting paid per hour ) I didn’t know it was possible to make a 5 minute job into a 2 hour long one but he made it possible 🤷‍♀️

Wandered in early morning looking for coffee & breakfast. Great find. Breakfast was fantastic, good portions, service lovely. It has a relaxed feeling, but all details are attended to - decor good, atmosphere warm, music easy, toilets clean! Would recommend to anyone as a good spot to eat, drink and enjoy spending some time in.

What a delightful place and dog friendly with it on the wooden floored part! Despite living in Cornwall for 27 years and in the St Austell area for a third of those we'd never been in - what a treat we were missing all this time. We ate off the Brunch menu and my partner opted for the scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and she declared it brilliant - confess I had to help her finish it the portion was that generous and I agree with her verdict. Didn't know scrambled eggs could taste that good. For my part I went for the Eggs Royale which is a breakfast muffin split and covered with smoked salmon, a poached egg on each half and hollandaise sauce - very simple and absolutely wonderful. We had a pot of tea for one and a decaff latte and they were equally excellent - the coffee especially being very high quality. As well as being wonderful it was also very reasonably priced - we could have gone to Subway and sat in the car (it's Cornwall and summer so it was raining) and it would have cost us slightly more! Lastly the service was excellent despite it being fairly busy. It might have taken a long time to find the place but we will certainly be back

Food is really great and delicious and so are the drinks. The service unfortunately doesn't match and the old decor was much better. The recent refurbishment is smart but it's lost all it's precious character. Seats are ripped and broken. The service used to be really fantastic and with a smile but that person seems to have left which is a shame. Don't think we will be back sadly. Unfortunate as service can make or break an experience!

Stumbled upon this place by accident while traveling through St Austell. Their menu all sounds great but we decided on the triple cheese toasties with a side of onion rings. Glad we did. Absolutely delicious! Recommend this place

We regularly visit Moustache Jacks for a lunch time treat as a family. Last Friday was no different to our other visits but I’ve just never taken the time to review. Friendly, welcoming young man serving, great food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone.

Best burgers for miles in a lovely place with good service. Good atmosphere and music and furnishings. I don’t get impressed much with the local eateries. Took my dad here after ten pin bowling for his birthday as it’s near and I’d heard good reviews. So nice to be able to eat outside of the 12-2 time as many others pubs do. Really lovely menu Available all day until 3. Home made burgers using local Produce . Amazing ice cream milkshakes and smoothies made from scratch . This is one of the nicest coffee/bistro cafés in St Austell, if not THE nicest, we were met by a smiling Barista who welcomed us to MJs, we ordered and it all came fresh and really well presented, the interior of the café is lovely, the tables regularly cleaned with comfortable chairs to match, one thing we always look out for in these cafés, is the cleanliness of the toilet facilities, well, they were absolutely spotless, with running hot water, unusual in this day and age, the prices are absolutely reasonable too, all in all this is a cafè we will definitely be returning too, ASAP, thank you MJs...👍

Ordered two simple burgers which were delivered by Deliveroo. Upon receiving order discovered both burgers to be raw in the middle, visibly uncooked. Sent email to business owner who was totally uninterested, seemed more intent in passing me over to Deliveroo for any refund, calls into question are they really bothered about food quality and reputation...
