Fantastic food great portions. We've been using them since they have opened. First time tonight the drink was forgotten on delivery rang up they immediately apologised and sent out the drink plus another a drink and some prawn crackers for the inconvenience. We'll be customers for life as they obviously care about their customers.

Iv lived in Cornwall for 10 years and tried lots of takeaways this one is the best Chinese iv had in 10 years 😀 it was delicious 😋 so happy will be my new treat night go to and will try all the menu 😀 I had choi main tonight and chicken fried rice it was so yummy I'm so happy thank you I hope my next one is as delicious

I cannot get enough of the roast duck & roast pork at Spicy Dragon. They're incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the skin on the duck is crispy perfection. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Chinese meal, definitely check this place out. One of the best take aways I have been to.

We have been here on holiday for a week and have now ordered two nights as the food is really good and fresh, you get so much food, I would recommend this place and wish it was on my doorstep. Must try.

On holiday, googled the nearest Chinese which was this one. Ordered many dishes to feed a family of six and every dish was superb. Friendly service and good value for money. Highly recommend x

Really great food! I had the crispy chilli beef with special fried rice and it was amazing, was easy to make an order and the delivery was quick. The driver struggled to find where we were staying (which wads to be expected) but he was really friendly and had a lovely attitude about it! Would definitely recommend and had no complaints at all.

A great Chinese takeaway, would recommend to everyone

Normally really nice place. However ordered some sweet and sour king prawn balls and they were not pleasant. Not crispy and the batter between the king prawn and outside was raw - like mush. Rang up to complain and the response from the chef was they're meant to be like that....I mean they're not and never usually like that and he also didn't even look at ours to decide that but okay.

I have eaten here before when i lived closer to the area, and they where brilliant then (Approximately 2.5 years ago). I ate from there today and it was just as good, the portion size was big it was fresh, they delivered within 20 minutes and they gave me a free bottle of coke with it. i would recommend trying this Chinese if you can.

It's the first time I've eaten here, to be honest I never knew it existed, it is tuck out the way from the main shops, but what a gem, The food was lovely, I only gave it a four star because I had the crispy chilli beef, and although it tasted great it was really soft. Apart from that the chow mein chicken balls chicken fried rice and salt and pepper ribs were lovely and I will be returning. They gave us two free cans of pepsi max and the really friendly staff.

First time tonight and wow it’s hot, tasty and extremely generous portions. Will now be our go to always.

Disappointed that the meal was not good. Had sweet and sour chicken, Hong Kong style and it was unpleasant, not crispy batter, quite soft and the beef dish was not nice. Will not be returning there.

We have ordered here a few times over the past few months and never had a problem until last night ordered at 5.45 and at 7.15 phoned to see if everything was okay to be told it will just be another 20mins ish then 20 mins went by so i phoned again and the man said you will have to wait half an hour for us to do it(so basically it hadn't even been done at all). Absolutely disappointed and shocked will have to try a new Chinese Takeaway now.

Great Chinese, staying in St Austell for holiday and would highly recommend

i usually go to this chinese , never any problems , last night 8/8/22. i got the food home and the rice and noodles were dark brown sludge as if the oil was dirty , the pancake roll was practically white , not cooked, i don't know what happened but i wont be going back

For the second time we had the wrong food delivered. When we phoned we were told to keep some of the order while the rest is brought out meaning half of the food would be cold. I said I wanted it all re cooked and delivered at the same time. What was delivered was horrible. The food was nearly warm and you could tell some of it had been heated up in a microwave. We will never be using these again

Absolutely the best Chinese I have ever tasted. Wow friend of mine recommended the garlic egg fried rice.❤️ I had garlic n chilli beef amazing, husband had garlic and chilli vegetables, the rest of the family totally loved the food, nice to have hot chips Thank u everyone that cooked the food, fast delivery xx

Best Chinese I have ever had! The food I had was amazing, king prawn and peking sauce and garlic butter chicken were to die for.

What a super delivered meal! It was cooked how I like it - the chicken balls not greasy and very tasty. The sauce really good, not thinned down. The hot and spicy roast duck was just amazing. I’ll have another delivery this weekend as it is, as far as I’m concerned, the best Chinese takeaway around here.

Thought we would try our new local Chinese take away yesterday. Mixed reviews made us wary but our food was very good. We will be back.

Finally found a lovely Chinese, had given up hope but this is excellent, best one in St Austell.

First time we have tried this Chinese, Wow, it was just amazing. Delivery was quick, food was hot, and delicious. We had chicken Curry, prawns in tomatoes the prawns were large prawns and very tasty.we also had butter Garlic chicken , egg fried rice all of which was excellent..

I have to say from ordering through to delivery nothing can be faulted, I phoned an order through for a set meal for 2, which lasted 2 nights, I asked for it to be delivered about 7.30, 7.30 on the dot a very polite gentleman knocked at the door with the order. The meal was hot, tasty and well worth the money, our new go to Chinese.

Such a shame, service was super fast. Food not so good, not sure what it was but everything tasted the same, old oil I think. Have to admit, this is the first and the last time we shall use them.

Nothing special - Crispy shredded beef was more like a soggy big sweaty mess and nothing like what every other Chinese serves - Rest of the items ordered were just bland with no flavour, Shame really as St Austell really lacks a really good Chinese takeaway.

Had used this Chinese for 3rd time tonight normally brilliant but tonight I had to call back as one item wasn't cooked right for the only responce given was OK thank you will let the chef know so it don't happen again.... never mind the fact I got something here that can't eat as undercooked and contains chicken not even a offer to put it right... take money and thats all that matters.... very disappointed

We normally rock Kungs for our Chinese but instead tried Spicy Dragon for the first time tonight after having a menu posted recently, unfortunately it wasn't as Spicy as its name. The mixed starter was ok but dry apart from the curry parcel and the satay starter was soaked in sauce so the chicken was soggy, the Thai red curry tasted nice but the sauce was so thin and soup like. We had Spicy chips but they were served in a plastic container which just made them soggy and our noodles were ok just not spicy, we asked for everything to be very spice hot which we love but nothing really was, good job we had fresh chillies to liven it up. Always worth trying somewhere else but we won't be trying the UnSpicyDragon again after our average meal tonight.

The food is generally OK but a few occasions where I have ordered a vegetarian meal there has been the odd bit of meat in it. Ordered plain chow mein which turned up as chicken chow mein. When I rung up to tell them they said they would give me a free one next time I ordered. The next time I did place an order they had no memory of it....

Will start with I wanted a delivery so went online to place one but it couldn’t recognise my postcode so I then rang them up to double check they deliver they said yes but u will need to put pick up but it will be put on for the delivery I then placed order online at 5.28pm After an hour of waiting I rang up and asked how much longer they said oh we are still in middle of cooking yours as we have had loads of other orders I was like ok then so then waiting even longer and delivery arrived at 7pm.. by the time it got here me my partner and 4 children was starving Kids ate there meals which was chicken balls and chips seemed ok But me and my partner had Singapore fried rice and chicken curry The chicken tasted like it wasn’t cooked enough and didn’t have any taste to it The rice tasted like it been there too long and the prawn crackers tasted like they gone off I wouldn’t normally post a bad review but sorry to say that was disgusting First time ordering and will be the last already Won’t be ordering again.
