The best restaurants in Padstow Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Only real negative is the cafe has only a small seating area. You can put your name on a queue but peak summer this could be a long wait. We were lucky and only had to wait 20mins. Food, service, etc all fantastic.

We've been coming to this delightful café for several years & it is one of our favourites. We recently introduced 11 walkers from our village group & they were ALL impressed & delighted by the location, (great views) friendliness & variety & quality of the food. The quiches, scones & ginger cake are delicious having been baked fresh by the owners. Even though the garden is fairly small we were all able to find seating and were reluctant to leave to continue our walk. Thank you Martin & team for getting up at the crack of dawn every day & providing us with incentive to walk the coastal path, keep up the good work!

5* review-Would 100% recommend. The tempura salmon starter was generous and tasty. The lemon sole and venison were cooked to perfection. Perfect friendly individualised service. We had crumble and bread and butter pudding with clotted cream and custard, both delicious. Wow! We will definitely return. Best fish I’ve had ever! Even the music was great. Just the perfect restaurant for quality food and service. The lobster and prawn risotto is a must, the seafood curry is excellent and the Korean ribs are so tasty, you’ll want again. Great value for money.

We spent a week in Treyarnon and this little cafe, in a van overlooking the beach, was a proper treat. We had lunch three times from it and the food was outstanding each time. They had a great selection of items for breakfast and lunch, providing vegetarian and vegan options also. Would highly recommended.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and we had a great time! The room was lovely, excellent shower, comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Great coffee, food was fantastic, can throughly recommend the veggie options plus the brownies were delicious! Tom was so friendly and helpful, he recommended some top surf spots too. Would definitely stay here again as it was really good value for money and we were made to feel so welcome, we will definitely be back!

Very tasty for both lunch and dinner. The small dishes are for sharing, highly recommended!

Friendly mother and daughter team. Had lovely cream tea, excellent value. Later had bacon, sausage sandwich, great bread. Would have preferred bacon, sausage to be cooked more, but that’s personal preference prefer well done. Also sold hand selection of handmade jewellery, trinkets etc. bought lovely earrings and ring.

Delightful dinner at Salt and Samphire. A very nice restaurant run by a dedicated couple. We both had the Durban curry which was very flavorful and just on the right side of 🔥 ! Not too expensive with a good choice on the menu. I would say that the open kitchen is perhaps too open...if it could be screened a little more, I think customers might prefer it.

The food was faultless, the Lamb was beautifully cooked and the Cheese board was delicious. The house Wine was very good. The service and ambience were average. Very Little atmosphere in the restaurant and the music amongst others was Michael Jackson and Fat boy slim. Not the playlist I would expect at a refined restaurant. The lighting was very bright with ceiling lights and we had to ask for our candle to be lit. The staff were very pleasant however a few bad habits: Not asking who would like to taste the wine, I usually do this but it was handed straight to my partner. Crossing / reaching over us as opposed to walking round, taking our order whilst we were literally eating our breads and taking my plate away without asking whilst my partner was still eating. That may all sound trivial but it’s basic stuff which should be executed well. Overall, great value & amazing food.

Great food and even better as they had vegan options 😋 The pizza was amazing, especially the mushrooms one with truffle oil and confit garlic. The dough balls are also definitely worth the hype! Quick service and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are a hungry vegan or just hungry :)
