Located about one third of the way to Stepper Point, this cafe offers cafe fare, along with an excellent Cornish cream tee and a great view of Doom Bar where so many ships have wrecked in the past. Unfortunately there are no bathrooms offered.

So lovely, we visited twice. On an overcast windy day, all went for a delicious and filling cream tea (or drink of your chosing) with gorgeous, fresh scones, friendly lovely staff who always seem to be cheerful and welcoming and the most amazing views. And on the most gloriously sunny October day, after having a dip in Hawkers cove below, couldn't resist popping up again for and warming latte and hot choc with astounding views around us. Thoroughly recommend 100%. Please note, this is quite a walk to get to (on the coastal path) and perched on what feels like the edge of the world (in a good way and the views are astounding), so it is not a state of the art metropolis of an eatery, but a quaint, fitting with it's environment, small decking area (probably fits around 30 people squashed in but usually 15 or so and a handfull of dogs) with no cover (so you are completely emersed in the beauty of your surroundings). Small flurries of tiny birds fly in when it's quiet enough and large and small dogs come in with their tired owners as you sit and eat, enhancing the whole visit. Left there feeling like a very full (on food and happiness), but happy, Snow White, with honey bees and birds chirping round my head down the coastal path. Did I mention how lovely the people working there are?! With thanks Rest A While Annie O'Sullivan

This place is simply brilliant. Lovely outdoor tea garden with a view of the estuary just off the main coastal walk. Definitely worth the detour. We were exploring the Padstow area and had walked down the beach. We found this place to eat so thought we would give it a go and we were glad we did. It mainly serves cream teas, coffees, and cakes etc. it was super friendly and quick service despite the number of customers. There isn’t a huge amount of space so you may have be lucky or wait a bit to get a seat. Please note there is no toilets available. Oh what a lovely tranquil spot for a Cornish cream tea!! I love a good tea room but this one was so much more special! It is in the most gorgeous location with incredible views and really did feel like a little piece of heaven. The cream tea was superb, warm scones with plenty of cream and jam. One of our party doesn’t like strawberry jam but this wasn’t an issue and we were provided with raspberry. Perfect! I can’t wait to return next time we are in Cornwall ❤️

This was such welcome destination for our walk seaward from Padstow. A lovely little outdoor cafe serving good coffee and snacks through a serving hatch in their coastguards link house. An ideal stop of for hikers to Stepper point. A man and wife team full of funny banter rounds off a lovely scenic walk! It’s a 'must visit' every time we come to Padstow. The area is very small. It was a burning hot day and there were no parasols and very limited space to sit in any shade. The cappuccino was £3.80 and served in a paper cup. It tasted wishy washy and definitely not worth the high price. This part is obviously not the cafe owner's fault but there was a Yorkshire terrier off lead jumping up at people and then it proceeded to poo under two tables, including mine. At that point we left. An awful experience and we'll never return. The garden itself was tatty and very neglected and just spoilt the view which is the only nice thing about the place.
