Visited during our visit to Newquay after seeing such brilliant reviews and would definitely recommend. Food was delicious, filling and unique. Service was excellent and it was great to hear about the courses direct from the chef. Couldn't fault it. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

A great evening with all the family at this wonderful restaurant. Great food choice and the children loved it. Very warm welcome and super friendly service. Can’t wait to return on our next visit to Cornwall.

Wow! What a place, what a location. We found this place by chance as the tide stopped us going any further. Stunning place inside, great views out across the sand. Lovely comfortable seating. Doggy friends are extreamely well catered for with treats, water and even blankets! We didn't try the food as we were just stopping for a drink, but we'll defo be back at some point. Sadly not a great selection of beers but then not many places in Cornwall do for some reason, but they did have cocktails on tap!

A nice little pub. Went for a friend's 40th. Cosy feeling with a fun dog food fridge for your furry friends :)

Friendly welcoming pub. Dog friendly Was busy on a Friday night. We had lasagne, garlic chicken. Its good pub grub & plenty of it.

The food was outstanding the service was great and even ordered us a taxi when we were finished, easily booked table online, all in all we had a great night with great food.

Our forth trip to Newquay in consecutive years and always get drinks, lunch & ice cream. So friendly, good value & great sandwiches xx

Very friendly and lovely ice-cream and drinks. We had coffee and hot chocolate and all were really nice. Lots of choice and the kids loved it! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

I organised a meal for a party of 10 people. Non of us have been here before so I was tacking a chance on this one. Everything was outstanding! Service, food and atmosphere. I have lived in Cornwall for 13 years now and eat out very often and I have to say this was the best meal I've had out in 13 years of living in Cornwall.

What has happened to the Orient, food terrible had chicken balls Kong po chicken, egg fried rice, all disgusting, and went in the bin ,

Fantastic food, views, bar and ambience with warm and friendly staff and easily the best place in/around Porth and well worth the 5 minute walk from the beach, although also directly accessible from the beach at low tide. Unfortunately we only stumbled on this late in our holiday during a moment of curiousness but have visited twice already and hope to return

The food was OK. Nothing special. The wait, however, was shocking! Was told it was going to be 90 minutes, but when we got there, I was told it wouldn't be ready for a further 20 minutes. Not a massive order, £50 worth. The miserable woman behind the counter appeared to not have any customer skills and didn't offer any apology for the slow service. There are much better Chinese takeaways nearby, so unfortunately, we'll vote with our feet, and they've lost a local customer.
