Absolutely amazing , delicious, fab atmosphere, outstanding service. Very cosy family run business , impressive, we will be back.

My wife and I visited here last month on a Sunday after returning from a holiday earlier in the morning. We couldn’t be bothered cooking a roast dinner so we walked here. The wife had pork and I had beef. Really enjoyed it! Big portions, well seasoned and very tasty. The meats and the roast potatoes were excellent. Breakfast is meant to very good as well so will definitely be returning.

A bleddy brilliant Butcher's shop. I asked if they did mutton and said that give them a day's notice they would endeavour to source some. To my surprise, they obtained it for me and even diced it up so i can make my mutton curry. Nice range of meats on display and also their Brays & Kays pasties which hit the sweet spot. Butchers are a dying breed and unlike supermarkets which only sell lean rubbish, the Butchers offers a wide selection to tickle anyone's taste buds

Gran servicio de señoras muy amable bienvenida. Una magnífica casa jamón recién horneadas en un panini con queso. Se sirve con su propia casa hizo deliciosos col. Excelente relación calidad-precio y un lugar perfecto para un almuerzo rápido o café y pastel que parecía increíble. . .

Lovely bar with great friendly staff, highly recommended to anyone looking for a chilled pint and a few games of pool.

What an amazing burger Mecca!! The shop front is misleadingly unassuming but the smashed burgers are freshly made and cooked perfectly. The service and presentation were both excellent. All in all a burgertastic gem of a place.....

This is a great cafe to meet with friends. There is a good selection of homemade cakes on offer to go with an inexpensive barista coffee. Order at the counter and coffee is served at your table Much of the menu offer is vegetarian and vegan with vegetables grown on site. It's good food at good prices. The cafe is dog friendly and is on some of the popular walking routes.

Felt very relaxed after a long journey and having a delightful Cornish Cream tea. The scones were still warm and the addition of clotted cream and jam was heaven! Very relaxing sat near the window looking out to the sea.

Good wholesome food with good wholesome service 🙂 best coffee ☕️ in town.

Popped down to see farmer jon, picked up some steak and mince from his own herd, you could see his animals grazing, chickens running around and the farm looked super clean and so well organised, jon is definitely a proud and conscientious farmer who looks after his animals, oh and the rump steak was delicious.

We ordered 3 burgers, 2 drinks and 2 portions of chips, which came to over £50. It is absolutly worth the price. This is our second time here and the food is stunning. Good size burgers that kept us going for hours. We came to Newquay, over an hour drive, for my birthday. I can honestly tell you I chose Newquay because my wife and I have been craving the burgers for months. The food isnt cheap, and that because quality isnt cheap. I also wouldnt consider it expensive when you add the quality and portion size. We usually dont eat in, but this place is stunning. Clean and very presentable so we ate in this time. We couldnt be happier with Herd. Just as to make sure they get a mention, its worth commenting on the staff. Really friendly, bought the food to us with a smile. Everything about this place is perfect.

What a beautiful little cafe. Fantastic staff and beautifully cooked meals at a great value! This cafe has really made my stay in Newquay worth while. They’ve clearly taken on board the government guidelines and have implemented these accordingly. I shall be revisiting as soon as I’m back in the area!
