A bleddy brilliant Butcher's shop. I asked if they did mutton and said that give them a day's notice they would endeavour to source some. To my surprise, they obtained it for me and even diced it up so i can make my mutton curry. Nice range of meats on display and also their Brays & Kays pasties which hit the sweet spot. Butchers are a dying breed and unlike supermarkets which only sell lean rubbish, the Butchers offers a wide selection to tickle anyone's taste buds

Just the best meat around Newquay and the environs - steak/sausages/bacon/chicken/lamb - all perfect and excellent value - why buy your meat anywhere else when near by Oh…and the pasties were magic too - perfectly seasoned

Used to use this Butchers when owned by previous owners and I lived near by. Have to say new owners are lovely, friendly and very knowledgable. Have had both meat, scratchings and Pasties from here and recommend all. Yesterday we popped in late on and as expected all of their cooked pasties had been sold so we opted for 2 frozen one's, took them home and cooked them and they were delicious! Recommend this Butchers to anyone either on holiday or local. Keep it local!

Great quality, great value and great service. Definitely worth a visit if you’ve not shopped here before. Pasties are not bad either !

Visited The Ivy House and left thoroughly disappointed. The service was disgraceful; Pete who was working this night was outright rude and couldn’t care less about providing us with information for our allergies, we have just finished our letter to environmental health. The food we deemed “safe” was underwhelming, overcooked mains and poorly seasoned side, definitely not worth the money. The attitude and lack of care really ruined what could have been an enjoyable evening. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Amazing place and view, great service too. Just missing a star for the tea we had, there were a few hard and slightly dry sponges on the Victoria sponge cakes. The white finger sandwich was also a little on the dry side and not soft. Other than that can’t fault it and still highly recommend and would return. Toilets on lower ground were stylish but needed more ventilation. Staff were all amazing and well knowledgable on the food and the history story behind it. Restaurant had a beautiful scene and the cleanliness top notch. The tea was of high quality for sure.

Extremely overpriced, £12 the cheapest glass of white wine, and cocktails £16+…not even London prices. Food was OK but definitely no value for money. It’s a rip off. The server tried being friendly but made a sort of sarcastic remark and then brought us the bill without we even asking for it. Felt like he was kicking us out of the restaurant. For those prices, stools could be more comfortable. There’s definitely better choice around St. Ives
