Set Cafe Lounge in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Excellent service good coffee lovely cream tea. Nice surroundings clean and tidy. First visit so pleasantly surprised and will be back.

My wife and I visited here last month on a Sunday after returning from a holiday earlier in the morning. We couldn’t be bothered cooking a roast dinner so we walked here. The wife had pork and I had beef. Really enjoyed it! Big portions, well seasoned and very tasty. The meats and the roast potatoes were excellent. Breakfast is meant to very good as well so will definitely be returning.

Sunday 27 October 2024, Karl and Family are back from holiday. I pre-booked six for Sunday Roasts, and all agree this is the BEST roast in Newquay, The service is wonderful and the atmosphere to match, Make sure you try this GEM of a Restaurant.

The best breakfast we have had in Newquay. The staff are lovely and attentive Pancakes; mega breakfast and breakfast bagel. Fresh ingredients - not to be missed

Wow… what an amazing find. Three generations enjoyed a wonderful lunchtime experience….very tasty well prepared food delivered to the table quickly and efficiently…. Very friendly staff and local proprietors that will earn a well deserved reputation for a great place for well priced tasty food… It’s not trying to be something its not…. Just somewhere you go to be well fed and treated as respected customers. Well done 😁😁😁

Amazing Breakfast, and great staff , value for money. Mega Breakfast was great and the ambiance so relaxed overlooking the tennis court . Recommended

This is where we go if not in town for a great sandwich, from Karl his wife, and the girls if there is a better sandwich we have not found it, been coming here since Karl and Family have taken over and there is a lovely atmosphere here. The food is cooked with care as well.

After several games of padel we really enjoyed lunch at the Set Cafe. It's a great menu (the all-day breakfast pleased our hearty eaters!) with generous portions. My toasted brie cranberry and bacon sandwich was superb. The staff are really helpful and efficient too.

Visited on Sunday 15th October for Sunday lunch apart from a small mix up with one of our starters which was quickly resolved we had a very enjoyable lunch ,huge portions of meat a beautiful Yorkshire pudding lovely cauliflower cheese , broccoli, pea's and carrots with lashings of very tasty gravy at a very reasonable price will definitely be visiting again .

My partner and myself went for Sunday lunch today and it was Great , Food was delicious , both the pork and the beef . Service was very attentive and overall a great lunch

This place has a welcome home vibe! The staff treat you like an old friend. Great coffee and food everytime I’ve been! Breakfast served until 2pm! What a treat! The pancakes are Devine. The consistent exceptional service is the stand out to me though. I have to remember to find out the names so they are specifically acknowledged. The staff working today at lunchtime 9/2/23 were two ladies in their 50’s and a young man in the kitchen. They were top notch staff :)

Every visit to this cafe is a delight. Excellent food good sized portions, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Very satisfied customers.

Lovely cafe. We ordered the burger and a pizza which were both delicious. Other things on the menu are smaller items such as panini’s and sandwiches. The portion sizes are great.
