The best restaurants in Christchurch South West

My family and I have a house down in highcliffe and we frequently come down for little weekend breaks. Every single time we come down the first question that’s asked is ‘so what night are we going to bistro?’. And every single time we go it is the best meal we have all ever had. Every time! And we’ve been to some nice restaurants.

Utterly delicious breakfast with delightful service. So scrumptious we had to come back the next day!

I'm delighted that someone has figured out an Italian tapas menu. The food was amazing and the service superb. Price was excellent and we left full 🌝

Great pizza. Lovely thin base. Don't bother with the tiramisu though. It's the same as what you get at the supermarket so not very special at all but charged at £4, it's very disappointing!

Great food ,good service and friendly staff .all food cooked fresh ,sauces are delicious and portions are a good size .lt does get busy so l would advise to book .The prawns were delicious and plenty of them .l just wished l lived near .we were on a break

Bought a sausage roll and potato and steak pasty out of the hot cupboard,from their stall on Lymington Market. £8.75...! Both were not up to temperature; luke warm at best. Sausage roll had stale pastry and salty sausage meet; Pasty was 90% potato. Crooks....should have gone to Greggs

The choices to paint are good and the staff were friendly but I won't be going back as they have a charge for a parent staying with their kids of nearly as much as taking part. It wasn't even really about the money but more the principle of it. It seems totally unjustified. I don't want to leave my 9 year old and her sister alone to paint, but this charge encourages it. There's plenty of other places that don't charge me for being there and these will be the ones I go to in the future.

Oh my goodness what an incredible place! Amazingly friendly staff and the BEST breakfast and coffee we’ve had in a long time. We tried the cuckoos breakfast and the big Scottish breakfast. Woweeeeeeeee. Absolutely scrummy. The girls were so welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you 🤩

Haven't been for a while - and God what have I been missing. Absolutely amazing breakfast. My friend had a full veggie breakfast and it looked amazing. I had the honey halloumi bagel - it was fantastic, although next time I will ask for less chilli. Am sick of paying ridiculous amounts for substandard food and being greeted by miserable staff. Not here - food is just brilliant and Nadine is just lovely. Forgot just how good this place is and will 100% be coming back more.
