The best restaurants in Mudeford and Friars Cliff Christchurch South West

We had a really good lunch here, the view across the beach, service and cooking were all superb. There is a very good menu and a very reasonable set menu. The whole lunch experience was a delight, would certainly recommend anyone to have a meal at this establishment.

Exceptional. Bored of all the standard but overpriced breakfasts about. Thought we'd try here. Excellent choice. 13 quid fror breakfast but when I saw what I got I thought it was not bad value at all compared to other place. Great ingredients and perfectly cook. Their " home" hash brown was a beautifully cooked rosti type potato. It was lovely. Poached egg could not have been better. All in all one of, if not the best breakfast I've ever had. Add the great staff and super warm comfortable surroundings and it definitely falls into the " exceptional " category. Excellent job. Bravo !

We were too early to arrive at our destination so decided to stop for a coffee. The place was so good we called in again on the way back to buy takeaway pasties. Friendly staff, good coffee, good selection of pastries and snacks, very fair pricing. A good, clean stop for eat in or takeaway

Always called in for coffee and sandwich but now changed hands so not been back this month, not able to review new ownership

We loved our stop over here. A few days spent relaxing. Excellent spa facilities, two great restaurant options, and some fantastic nearby walks along the coast and across to Mudeford. Will be back!

One of the best fish meals we've ever had. Seats looking out over the Mudeford bay. Staff amazing. Will definitely be going back in the Spring.

Dog friendly! Lovely bogof burger meal and blood orange cider and a sausage for Snoopy all for just over a tenner. Friendly staff!

We visited as a family of 4 midweek, staying in the local area, a bit more of a drinkers pub but the lad behind the bar was very pleasant and happy that we wanted to eat. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices. We would have stayed longer but the free wifi didn’t work or our data, we have one teen thats addicted to her phone!!

We were invited to try the menu at Haven House Inn and it was incredible 😲 Absolutely delicious 😋 Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fairly disappointing haddock, scampi and white bait with chips. Chips were dry, overcooked, not fresh or all that hot, fish was greasy and tasted like it had been frozen. Already fairly expensive for what it was and then charged 40p per source 🤨.
