Deli-licious in Christchurch

Always called in for coffee and sandwich but now changed hands so not been back this month, not able to review new ownership

Looking for a light bite, entered to look at offerings at counter as not from area. Was not asked if we needed to be served. Chose a chicken and mushroom pie and asked if it could be heated . Told it would be a few minutes and pie was scalding hot , bottom soggy and was thrown away as so overheated that filling ruined Felt owner was reluctant to serve us and over heated pie intentionally Will not recommend

I popped in here on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed!! I ordered takeaway as we were staying really close by. The bacon, brie and cranberry batons I ordered were really lovely, so tasty and good quality filling and the coffee and walnut cake was absolutely gorgeous. I thought the selection on offer was fantastic and everything looks so tempting, something for everyone! I would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much.

Very unfriendly and hurried service by owner and staff and interior cafe had a dank smell when I was there. Shame as nice location

Andrea supplied us with a anniversary cream tea for 40 people. Everything was home made and was fantastic. Loads of cakes sandwiches and scones.Everything needed was supplied. Andrea came and set all the food up on each table at the venue on stands. The food and service was top quality and would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Andrea you made our day.

Stopped here for bite to eat (takeaway) after walking back from mudeford quay. Had looked at other takeaways & restaurants along the front but both my wife and I agreed that others pricing was high and remembered we saw this cafe as we drove in Always a good sign with people sat outside eating & drinking even with our unpredictable british weather! Good selection of sandwiches and rolls to choose from, along with cakes. Both ordered a bap and slice of cake which were wrapped so we could takeaway and eat along the seafront Very reasonable pricing and only a couple of minutes walk from Avon carpark/beach.

A friendly cafe, which offers fabulous home made food. I had steak pie, which was delicious and my husband had a bacon and sausage baguette, which was rammed with good quality bacon and 2 sausages and both dishes were served with a side salad. The coffee was lovely and next time I will definitely sample one of the home made cakes as they looked scrumptious. HIGHLY RECOMNENDED!

I stopped by on the first Sunday in the new year. Chicken pie fresh out of the oven with salad, followed by a cream tea. Enjoyed the meal and appreciated the banter with regular customers. Friednly place

Delighted to find that on a scorching hot day they had provision indoors with a cooling fan, although they were busy serving customers who sat outside enjoying the sun. Dog-friendly. Clearly a good client base of local residents as well as tourists finding a better option than Avon Beach or Mudeford. Wide choice of cakes, drinks and light lunch options and staff that were clearly willing to engage with customers rather than serve-and-go.

Popped into this cute little cafe for a quick bite to eat Monday lunchtime with my Mum. I ordered spicy chicken wrap and Mum had a cheese and onion sandwich. My wrap was fit to burst, with so much delicious filling, and Mum's sandwich was the same. Freshly made to order and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Definitely be back soon, thank you so much.

Good range of quality food but the coffee certainly steals the show. Try it once and you will be back for more.

We tried Deli-luscious for the first time today and were so pleased we did. Massive fresh delicious fillings made the baguettes so lovely. Super friendly staff made our visit a pleasure. We will be back 😊

Forget the chains, the coffee here is actually tasty and worth drinking. Dog friendly and used by locals ‘in the know’. A lot, if not most, of the cakes and pies are home made. The clientele is as varied as the food available.

Small interesting café.Lovely cakes and food. Local prints on the walls to purchase. Weather permiting you can sit outside on the grass or the pavement.

Have spotted this cafe on numerous occasions when over in Friars Cliff/Avon Beach area. Decided to stop here for a quick coffee & couple of sausage rolls, we were certainly not disappointed with our decision to stop at Deli-Licious.It was packed inside, we luckily secured a table outside which was in a lovely sunny spot.Coffee was prefect (nice & strong) sausage roll very tasty too.Really friendly staff & will definitely re-visit.

I am a local, and when Deli-licious first opened, I though it would not thrive. Rally glad to say the opposite is true. Friendly service, excellent scrambled eggs - locally sourced, but I'm told the secret is the cream in them. There's a real sense of community, and with seating on the green outside in good weather it is delightful spot.

Have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Great coffee and cakes and have enjoyed the best Paninis and wraps I’ve ever had. Good locally sourced ingredients. The place to sit and be refreshed.

Delicious large Roast Beef salad sandwich with crisps and drink for £5 recommend. Will be going back to try their lunch. Very friendly service, you can sit outside under the tree at tables and chairs, easy to park and level access.

We past this shop several times on route to christchurch and had been saying for ages that we must try it as the outside looks very inviting indeed.

A friendly deli, I do recommend the ploughmans lunch, deli-licious indeed! I have made different choices on each visit. Ham, cheese, pate all tasty and sourced locally.

Initially the owner was outside smoking a cigarette I was half way in so continued in...she didn't wash her hands but thank goodness she put gloves on. She used to use uncut bread so it was thick now it's plastic bread. Yes there was lots of bacon in it but also lots of fat and rind!! The bacon was a mixture of smoked and unsmoked? The brown sauce I asked for got missed out too, all for the cost of...£4.95...Note to owner...don't stand outside smoking and wash your hands (Health and safety) and cut the thick rind off or you'll have a choking customer too....very disappointing

Had a lovely lunch. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is really nice too. I will certainly come back again.

Best homemade Scotch Eggs ever & would also highly recommend the salted caramel cake & apple pie -- only complaint is far too many calories!! Friendly welcome & also sells lovely Dorset made pickles, jams & marmalades.

I can see the good ratings which are im sure well deserved however I had a very bad first time experience today at this place unfortunately. The ice cream we bought today tasted like the very bottom range of supermarket ice cream. For the price they ask I would expect MUCH more. I beleive this needs serious improvement to make success in long run.

Deli-licious is just a few minutes walk from Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach. It is a small deli that serves locally sourced food at very reasonable prices. There are tables if you want to eat inside or outside and there is a takeaway service.

A friend recommended I come here and so glad she did!! Been here twice now and both times I couldn't fault it!!

Very friendly and welcomed us in with 2 big Goldies! Enjoyed a late breakfast and relax on the sofa.. and the dogs loved their treats!

We had just arrived in Mudeford and were keen to get straight to the beach as the weather was so lovely. We discovered Deli-licious en route and it provided everything we needed for the perfect picnic-fresh bread, tasty cheese and a selection of cakes and cold drinks. It was also a wonderful place to pick up some gifts for friends and family. The staff were efficient, friendly and really cared about their customers.

Nice little place to grab a coffee great Choice of local foods and cakes . Staff where very friendly and welcoming . Would try it out if your in the area

I walk into Deli-Licious and see Andreas' smiling face of welcome. She asks me how my day has been and, actually, listens to a recital of my days problems. Then very speedily gets my much needed, beautifully blended, expesso coffee, which together with her cheerful, caring kindness, revives and uplifts me. After basking in the warm, friendly atmophere of Deli-Licious for as long as I need, I then leave, feeling uplifted, and ready for anything else that I will have to face that day. Andrea's cakes, which she bakes, lovingly, herself, are a must to sample. Andrea, also, stocks a wide range of well sorced cheeses. She does, delicious, light snacks, also, made by herself.

A genuine asset to the area. Home cooked food, cakes & lite bites. Really spoilt for choice. Easy parking outside and lovely seating areas both in & outside. Sat in the large window area with the sun streaming in, a partly finished jigsaw is there for anyone to do a bit of. Friendly service from who I assumed is the owner.

What an awesome deli and is definitely deli-licious. The owner is friendly and helpful and serves awesome food, along with everything else that a deli has, and on the walls are paintings by local artists, The deli is very clean and is definitely worth a visit

Terrific service coupled with tasty, locally sourced products at a reasonable price. Extensive variety of home cooked foods ideal for the savoury or sweet taste buds. A very welcoming atmosphere which I can thoroughly recommend.
