Paid £29 for a Roast Beef dinner one week, and £40 the following week for the same Roast Beef dinner. The server explained that the increase was purely because it was Mother's Day. There was also a 12.5% service charge automatically added.

We came to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel for an Afternoon Tea, to celebrate my birthday. The service, location and food were excellent! We felt that it was good value for money at £29.50 each. Will definitely return! Thank you everyone for a lovely afternoon!

This Spa is absolutely awful It is out of date a quite frankly dirty There is only 2 rooms for a single occupant to change and a small wooden bench that can occupy 2 people This is for spa days, hotel occupants and if your a member you can use the facilities Totally shocking We arrived at 2 pm Treatment was for an hour We left straight after treatment as screaming baby’s in the pool We paid 130 pounds for this awful day Then they added 30 pound each for dinner which we’d already paid £30 for the day I had 1 small glass of wine and after waiting an hour for my friend in a lobby as she was queuing for a shower it was much needed This place has beautiful views but I live here so most venues are amazing My advice is to never book here for a Spa as it’s a total ripoff

Fabulous hotel to simply relax, enjoy the views, and eat really well. There are so many wonderful walks directly from the hotel, so leave the car behind. Two excellent restaurants, exciting menus and efficient service. Our room was comfortable if a little small but provided everything we needed. The only negative was car parking. Although we managed to find a space, I would imagine high season would be challenging.

Great location with great attentive staff throughout. The decor in places including in-room is becoming tired. The spa is worth a visit. Given the decor, this hotel is slightly overpriced, but I would still highly recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my misses and daughter after our holiday to Lanzarote. I have to say what a lovely experiance, everything was absolutely spot on. We had 2 nights dinner here and was served by Phil on both nights, what a lovely man and looked after us very well. His knowledge of the food and local area helped us enjoy our meal and stay. I would 100% travel back down to Christchurch to stay here again 🙂

Wonderful stay. Our standard double was perfect. The breakfast was spot on for a good quality continental. We also had the cooked breakfast and it had perhaps the best eggs benedict I have had in around 20 years (the first time I had them). The hollandaise sauce was perfect. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Loved the spa. Easy call taxi to Christchurch.

Our 6th visit to HH Christchurch and once again it didn't disappoint. All the staff in the hotel and spa were really friendly as always, with a particular shout of to the staff working in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner, we are always made to feel very welcome - thank you! We arrived on a Sunday this time and enjoyed a delicious roast - we would definitely recommend the roast beef and the salmon terrine is stunning! Hopefully we will be back again soon.

We stayed for my husbands birthday for one night. Lovely hotel. Dare I say targeted for the older generation I think we were the youngest there. Room was great, complimentary gin and the end was so comfy. We didn’t use the restaurant as we felt it was very expensive. The spa was a nice touch although the pool and hot tub were very cold and the steam room was scorching to an unsafe level. Overall we had a very pleasant stay

This location was specifically chosen because January breaks are always subject to the weather. Rainy days allowed for use of the spa, which offers excellent treatments, or just quiet time in the pool, steam, and sauna rooms, or chilling out in the relaxation room. Good weather prompted bracing walks along the seafront, or exploration of nearby Christchurch. The high point of each day was dinner in the Upper Deck. The menu is diverse, all of the dishes were superb, and the experience was completed by the polished performance of the waiting staff. Phil impressed us in particular, with his excellent knowledge of the ingredients, superb guidelines on how to have meats cooked, and the best wines to accompany the dishes.

I was lucky enough to be invited to eat lunch here on Christmas Day. The food was good, nicely prepared and presented, as well as plentiful. Only note would be that even on Christmas Day I would have liked just one lighter option. The staff were amazing. Attentive, courteous, slick and despite being very busy, they went out of their way to be smiley and charming. It was pricey, but where isn't on Christmas Day - the staff made it special, so a big thank you to all of them.

I recently visited the Harbour House Hotel for Sunday lunch on December 15, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the food was fantastic, I encountered a serious safety issue when the chair I was sitting on collapsed, causing me significant embarrassment and discomfort as my leg was crushed between the chair and the floor. The restaurant manager, Santos, did address the situation by replacing the chair and mentioned that this was the second incident that weekend. However, I was disappointed that no one followed up to check on my well-being after the incident. To make matters worse, when I received the bill, Santos laughed about the situation while offering complimentary coffee, which felt inappropriate and dismissive. I reached out to the hotel management via email to express my concerns, but I have yet to receive a response. This lack of communication is concerning and indicates a disregard for guest safety and feedback. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and ensures that safety protocols are in place to prevent such incidents in the future.

Stayed here for a mid-week treat in February. While the weather was mostly miserable, the welcome wasn't, mainly thanks to Olivia on check-in: a genuine smile and hello is an excellent upgrade! We'd gone for a 'snug' room. Small, yes, but larger than our bedroom at home. It could have had less furniture, and the bathroom configuration was a bit clumsy, but lovely toiletries and super-soft bedding and towels. The only irritation was because there were no sockets/chargers for your phones etc beside the bed (you had to unplug the lamp). Lovely in-room G&T service; a nice touch. The gardens/views are exceptional, and I have no doubt this place is buzzing in the summer. We had lunch at the Jetty on one occasion; five-star and absolutely excellent! Breakfast twice at Upper Deck; faultless. And drinks at the Upper Deck too (the tattooed barman is a real credit to the place and someone who clearly knows his stuff). All in all, the staff really made this trip extra special and worth every penny; we wouldn't hesitate booking up a return visit. Friendly, funny (in a good way) and professional; you couldn't wish for a more decent bunch of staff. The only negative part of the stay was down to the spa; very tired (upholstered sofas/cushions in a wet area wasn't ever a good idea) and unwelcoming. Pool/jacuzzi were probably a degree or two cooler than they should have been, but even cooler was the 'welcome' from the staff who clearly didn't want to be there.

It's been over 10 years since I have visited this pub and wow.... the whole pub has been revamped and is very clean and tidy! The food was really tasty and the fish i had was coked perfect 👌. We will be back :)

This is a great place to chill with family friends and loved ones. There are offers to be had for drinks and food. There is parking available onsite but on first come first serve basis. Definitely recommended for everyone. Thank you and have a great day 🙏

Food was beautiful, service was quick, had a romantic date with my girlfriend here and loved it. They even made the effort to give us a free Anniversary cake which for one was delicious but also so lovely and thoughtful.
