Lovely staff and owner. Food very good with giant portions. Goat and lamb curry are good. Deffo comfort food made with lots of love. Cocktails good too.

Great pizza and very friendly team on hand. Always happy to accommodate any specific requests such as us asking for some hot honey on the side.

First time experiencing the Deli today. Loved it and will be a regular! Sipping double espresso whisky I picked out fresh food had me feeling genuinely like I was in Italy! Food is fresh and delicious and the service is 5*. Friendly, informative but not too hard on the sales pitch! It’s just right. As a picky foodie I must say this place is top tier and a new favourite in Bristol.

Best coffee, pretty decent toasted sandwiches

Another amazing visit yesterday, you know this place is good when you do an hour and a bit round trip on your day off just to visit! I had beef taco and nachos and my partner had a burrito all the food was delicious and full of flavour! Please don’t ever close we love you Cartel Cantina!

The best breakfast ever abd lovely atmosphere

Sweet little restaurant, the two owners are always very friendly and accommodating, always short waiting times and delicious food.

Sunday lunch, Adam our server was great and did so much for us and knows by far lots of knowledge about the drinks off the top of his head even down to each larger or where something off the menu is from which is always nice to hear, he's definitely an asset to your overall team, patient and definitely introduced us all very well so credit to him as he knows what he's doing. An honest review of the food, We came for a Sunday lunch, all meats cooked perfectly which is great to see. If I had a few niggles, Roast potatoes were nice but all agreed could be more crispy and seasoned up a little more flavour packed on them. Gravy & yorkie was great and tasty. If I had to be really picky the veg however some rock hard large tender stem broccoli stalks and some very small over cooked maybe a little more attention to how the green veggies are prepped/cooked could be taken into consideration so it all cooks nice and evenly, but again this is only constructive feedback . Red cabbage was great and tasted lovely. Brussels spouts were lovely and charred but after a couple of mouthfuls we definitely seemed to be left with a funny unique afterflavour that we couldn't quite seem to pair well or enjoy with our roast, again only our opinion. Desserts were all fantastic. Ambience great. Good service timing. Rest of the staff were lovely too. Sourdough bread was top stuff with that nice salty butter.

Poisoned and robbed. Only explanation is fake reviews. Average curry at exhaustionate prices. For the prices they charge I expect white table cloths, a full bar, more than 1 waiter and a hot towel following the meal. The environment is pretty grotty too. For a no frills curry the price is too high. £10 for 4 papads and a pickle tray is robery. Avoid

This place is an institution. So friendly and and always so generous with portions and the smiles. The kids love coming here, food always super fresh and quick to be served. Thanks again!
