The owner's here are incredibly friendly and generous, we'd be back just for the atmosphere alone! They've really nailed it with the falafel, super crispy and not at all dry - it's also both GF and sesame-free!

I've wanted to eat here for some time as the place always looks so inviting and fresh. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious. The variety of sides on the meze was incredible and everything tasted amazing. The people that run it obviously care about your experience and it shows. I will be coming back here regularly

My partner and I went to the restaurant and it was a very pleasant surprise. We had the large falafel wrap and it was just perfect! The size is extremely generous, very filling and delicious. The service is very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend it. It's certainly the best falafel I've ever eaten!

I bought a takeaway from here for me and my family to enjoy for dinner. It was a proper treat. Everyone in there is so friendly and kind. The food was very tasty and flavoursome. We had the Falafel Salad Box with Halloumi and the Jerusalem Salad Box. Both were absolutely sensational. We thoroughly enjoyed the generous portions and delicious flavours. I will definitely be coming back!!! 😋

Best spot in town for falafel, such a lovely vibe and great people who run the place. Every time I come I always leave with a full stomach feeling very satisfied with a big smile on my face.

Hands down the best falafel wrap I've had in the UK. And trust me, I've tried a lot of them and this was the closest to the kind you get in the middle east. In spite of walking ten minutes before the kitchen closed, we were seated and served. Happy to give all the stars that I can.

Took my parents here and we all agreed it was the best food we’d eaten out in ages! They even said it was the best Middle Eastern food they’d had since they were in Beirut. They had the friendliest staff, freshest food, and fantastic atmosphere. Even our dog had the best time getting his own goodie bag of halloumi ends. 10/10

Popped in earlier for a falafel wrap. They were about to close but made me one anyway and didn’t charge me either. The wrap was massive and absolutely delicious - fresh salads and sauces, and perfect crispy falafel. Lovely food and people 🙂

WOW!! I have just moved to the area and found BABA GANOUSH on my way home from work… all I can say is how LUCKY I AM!!! To live next to such an amazing spot!! The food is clearly prepared fresh everyday the falafel is just 1010 the best I have tried in my 7 years in Bristol! £5 for a wrap longer than my forearm is just too good to resist I will be visiting weekly… if not daily :D The lady who served me was super polite and the chef was lovely and smiley… a lovely atmosphere to eat in with lovely outdoor seating available!!! If you are in town it is worth the extra 5min walk for some real… local… fresh… NOT OVERPRICED SCRANNNN!!! Baba ganoush I am sold <3

I don't think I've ever received such a welcoming and kind experience of service in any restaurant before - an absolutely fantastic team who you can see really do care for their customers! I would give this place 5 stars even if I had never eaten a single item on the menu, fortunately for me I have eaten here (twice now) and it is unbeatable. Extremely delicious food with unique and distinct flavours and you get such a hearty portion for such a reasonable price, I couldn't recommend more!

It’s not often you find a place that you instantly know you’ll return to again and again. The portions are enormous and the best possible quality. Best pistachio baklava I have ever tasted and the team were just lovely. This place made me so happy.

Great place for food!!! Great vegan and vegetarian options. We had a Falafel wrap and a Falafel wrap with Halloumi - very delicious both of them :) We also got baba ganoush and baklava for home, and the baba ganoush was too good to leave out andI finished it on the same day! We had the wraps in the park and it's a very fun experience, peacefull and calm.

I cannot express my love for this place and the owners 🫶🏼 I’ve been coming here for several years and the food absolutely bangs 🔥 crispy falafel, thick salty halloumi, all wrapped up with super fresh salad, loads of herbs (mint & parsley) and the most delicious tangy pickles ever!! Not to mention, their super smoky top-notch Baba Ganoush 👌🏼 The owners, Shad and Dael, are the most warm, welcoming and generous people and always make you feel like you deserve the world. Thanks for building such a perfect place and continuing to serve such delicious food 🌯🧆 For anyone thinking about going, do it! Incredible falafel and fresh juice!

We ate lunch here whilst spending the afternoon in Bristol. The food was delicious. We have never eaten such delicious, smokey flavoured falafel. We could not recommend this restaurant enough!

We booked a table for 6.30 for this evening but when we arrived the restaurant was closed, very disappointed that we had not been contacted in advance to be advised of the closure...

We came here after reading the reviews. The lady co owner was really lovely. She spent time talking to us & went that extra mile with her service. She was very knowledgable about world affairs and fully awake :). The falafel was outstanding. Having leftovers as we speak the day after! Portion sizes are excellent & the food is freshly made & authentic. Please help this business by paying in cash. Cash will soon become extinct unless we keep it in circulation by avoiding paying by card. Small businesses need our support.

What a pleasure! The floofy manager welcomed us at the door and we immediately felt at home. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced: dinner and drinks for under £20 and a fair few belly rubs!

Just been there. A place you don't normally want to go into and in an area that, as a tourist, rarely comes, it has to be sought out. Got absolutely fantastic food, in quantities that could not be eaten at all, as well as an explosion of taste and one on the experience 😁 Tomorrow I think we will have the breakfast restaurant at the hotel to ourselves.

This was worth driving 1400km 😉 I had the Wrap with veggies and Falafel and it was the best I ever had. It’s a new level of falafel wrap. The ingredients are placed so well into the wrap that every bite tastes like a symphony of veggies , falafel , sauce and fresh salad. Whenever you are in Bristol and you like Falafel, give this a try. It will blow your mind.

I've managed to visit twice this week after wanting to come for a while and was not disappointed. I had a falafel wrap for lunch which was hearty, generous and packed with flavour. Visited the following day for dinner which was just amazing. Had a traditional meze which was just an explosion of colour and taste, it's genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had. Not sure what the spicy, citrussy green sauce was on the potatoes but it's epic! The owners (and canine manager) are so warm and welcoming, they make you feel like an old friend visiting. After an exceptional meal I was offered a lovely pistachio baklava which was just a sweet, syrupy delight and an outstanding cup of coffee. This place is just an absolute gem! Lovely and generous people serving amazing food and the value for money is unbelievable. Thank you Baba G, see you again soon.

Absolutely top notch falafel and very generous and kind staff. Definitely try the baklava, perfectly sweet, savory, and crispy! If you're in the area, definitely stop by and try the deceptively large "small" falafel wrap. Also, say hi to Rube, the hardest working pup in the neighborhood.

Boss man was exceptionally friendly, the card machine wasn't working and gave me my lunch on the house! I've been trying to make my way here for weeks and was very glad to finally make it. Banging felafel, amazing pickled bits, top service - couldn't ask for better! Support local, pay cash! 🤘

Popped in for a falafel wrap on Saturday, quick and fresh, genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh and crunchy falafel, good bread but the salad and fresh herbs really made it. Quite a nice change given that one of Bristol’s other falafel chains seems to have gone downhill of late. My sister loves the babagaoush from here too. Looking forward to trying the Sabich next time.

Such a friendly team, would return just for the warm welcome! You can see they are very community based, the building reminded me of a beach hut, and that laid back atmosphere resonates through out. Great food, generous portions and reasonably priced. Whilst we we were waiting a few ambulance crew turned up for their lunch, and were treated above and beyond, Always a nice touch. The falafels were awesome, touch of spice, fluffy in the middle and crispy on the outside. Only reason this isn't a perfect score is that the pickles(a varied mix, which I love) were slightly salty for my taste, but if they were made in house I could have caught it slightly early in the pickling process. This didn't in anyway negatively effect our experience though and I would highly recommend. Also Rudy is a legend and was coping better then I was in this heat!

Seriously delicious food! Had the falafel salad with halloumi, baba ganoush and hummus. Food arrived promptly and we had to take half of it home because the portions are so generous. The owners and staff are super friendly and their cute little dog was hanging out outside the entrance. Great place for watching the world go by, too. If you're in Bristol and you're hungry this is the place!

Super place. Popped in here at the end of a bike ride from Bath and it hit the spot. Simple menu, done expertly. Who needs 40 options that are all bang average. This guy knows his onions, and delivers every time. Loved it

Lovely people, put me into holiday mode and I was meant to be working! Got to meet the manager of the whole establishment, Rudy the dog. Very authentic tasting food and huge portions for the price. Its so refreshing to have a place that has a strong flavour, it may not be to everyone's taste but its authentic, fresh and different. Good coffee too.

Such a great place to go for lunch. The food is incredible! The staff are friendly and super helpful, and the food portion sizes are huge! (I'm super glad I went for the small as I couldn't finish it all). It wasn't the easiest menu to view as we only saw one at the counter so if there was a queue we would have felt the pressure, but we picked a quiet time and the staff were really helpful in helping us decide what we wanted. The portions are huge and the food tastes amazing, so many rich flavours but nothing over powering. Left us full and very keen to go back again another lunch time!

Had an impeccable first experience ordering from this gem of a restaurant. The staff are absolutely charming and the food is just beautiful (and very fairly priced)! They even gave me a box of free falafel - truly phenomenal service! I would recommend their namesake baba ganoush in particular as it's simply the best I've ever had!!! I didn't get a chance to see Rudy, the resident pooch, on my visit, but I have said hello to him a few times since moving very close to the shop, and I can confirm that he's incredibly pleasant company!

Absolutely incredible falafel shop just outside of the centre of Bristol. Huge portion sizes, the most delicious food and super speedy service. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful. We even got a complementary mint tea on the house. We will definitely be back, thanks!
