This is the best pizza place in Bristol without a doubt. The owner is the most passionate and knowledgeable guy you will meet, who so clearly lives and breaths what he does. There are always super interesting specials on, with amazing flavor combinations. Always tasty Wiper and True beers in the fridge, and nothing but warm, friendly, kind service., Cannot recommend it more highly, its a very special place.

We ordered a Florentina and a House special to share, with the sundried tomato salad and house garlic and parmesan dip on the side. All delicious!! Great base and crusts, delicious toppings, and really friendly service. Loved sitting outside on a warm sunny evening on Whitehall Road. Thanks Dough Heads!

Delectable pizza and yummy cocktails and the locally made ice cream was superb. Fantastic quality produce sourced locally with care and attention. Myself, my husband and 5 year old all loved our eating experience here. There were a few new tastes for my son (smoked oil garlic bread being one of them) and he surprisingly loved them all. We will definitely be coming here again and again. The atmosphere was airy and bright and the restaurant was clean, comfortable and classy. Thank you Dough Heads 😋

Wow. What an exceptional pizza. Consensus around the table of 8 was that we'd never had better. Also, lovely cocktails, service and atmosphere. Just a properly lovely spot!

Genuinely amazing homemade pizzas and the service is really personable. Our server (forget your name but fro Barbados) made us feel so at home and really made the night!

Excellent little pizza joint just tucked away on the outskirts of Easton. Great pizzas with a good range of options, sides and desserts. Kept simple so you don't feel overwhelmed by choice. Decent ale and cocktail selection. Cool front of house staff and steady service. Bonus points on being dog friendly. What's not too like. They make the most of the space and it can be busy so I"d recommend booking in advance using the website form. Two large pizzas, 1 dip, 2 puddings & 3 ales. £64 with an optional 10% service charge included. I'm going back.

Hands down the best pizza I have had in England! They gave the pizza dough 4 days of proofing, which makes the pizza light and it lets you crave for more! The quality of the ingredients is very good and you can tell from the first bite. With my wife, we normally don't finish a full pizza, but tonight we both finished ours and also had a slice from our son's one. Service is great too! Highly recommended! Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The tomato and white based pizzas are equally delicious, they've nailed the sauce and the dough. The drinks selection is great and the ice cream on offer is a perfect way to end a meal. The service is just as good, very attentive and knows the menu inside out so can always give a good recommendation. Look forward to coming back again. Cheers!

Amazing pizza and gelato. Really good service too. We went with two toddlers and 4 adults. Very accommodating for toddlers. (Brought their food out first on cold plates etc, very thoughtful)

My favourite pizza place in Bristol that also happens to be my local! Best dough around. This is a place that keeps it simple. Quality of ingredients is paramount here. Really great selection of drinks too including an absolutely incredible Limoncelllo and to top it off some of the best gelato available in the city supplied from Panunzio's Kitchen. The pistachio is mind blowing! You will not be disappointed!

Dough Heads is by far the best place around for Pizza and that’s saying something considering Bristol’s many Pizza options! The service is fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Great atmosphere, totally deserves your custom. They have regular pizza specials which are always delicious and a brilliant array of drinks. We have been back many times now and it never fails to delight.

I ordered a tartiflette pizza for collection last Thursday, service was super fast, pizza was boiling hot and absolutely delicious as was the garlic and Parmesan dip. My only niggle (and the reason for not giving it 5 stars) is that for £14 it was quite expensive and the toppings were very stingy. Just a few tiny pieces of prosciutto and a couple of shallots. Deffo could do with more for that price!

The lowdown: So far one of my fav pizza places in Bristol. Unique and original toppings in a base which is light yet satisfyingly elastic. The house made olives are a treat and the service is very attentive. Well priced for what you get! Will definitely be back!

Marvelous sourdough pizza. Had the house special - unsure if this changes - added pancetta. Easy to order online & ready to collect when arrived at my time slot. So glad these friendly peops have opened here, hope they stay forever!

Achieves the rare trifecta of excellent sourdough, premium topping quality and world class preperation and baking. This is clearly a passion project and it shows. Easily the best pizza in Bristol, we think it's the best pizza in the UK currently, and the pistachio ice cream is to die for.

Travelled here based on the reviews it’s a cosy little place with potential, however it was disappointing. Really overpriced for what it is. The pizza although had a great texture on the crust nice and chewy, was wet and sloppy in the middle. We went hoping to have 3 courses but the starters were just basic nibbles. The dessert of empanadas was really disappointing just basic chocolate and bread nothing special. Service was good although the dining area was very cold, although I would say that was selfish fellow diners who allowed their kids to keep opening and closing the door. I see for local people it’s a great little place but not deserving of the rating or travelling for and you’d be much better off travelling to Bristol town for better options.

It was a lovely pizza but I was upset that I asked for some of my pepperoni pizza to take home to my daughter to try and doughheads said they would wrap it up for me and then they forgot to give it to me!!I went back, but it was closed 😪 next time you need to remember to give take away pizzas to customers before they leave. For this reason I have given 4 stars but would have been 5. Attention to detail is important and you need to make sure you remember customer details.

Absolutely fantastic delicious pizzas. Fresh and quality ingredients. The me u might not look that large, but they have daily specials. We followed the recommendation and had the antipasti of smoked olives: meaty and juicy, good start. We had the special pizza with baby spinach, Italian fennel sausage and red onion. Really good. But the best was the European Hot: great and slightly spicy Italian salame. Scotch bonnet chili mayo to dip the crusts as recommended by the kind waiter. Best pizzas we've had in a long time! 🌴Lifetime Travelmates approved! 👍🌏

Lovely piece'a pizza here. Light fluffy base with that signature sourdough flavour. Special pizza was exceptional and the price is about right. Good selection of drink as well. Friendly service with almost instant food delivery. Definite return journey from me in future.

Eating in or picking up, the pizza is so good that I keep finding reasons to go back 🙌 All the specials and pizzas off the regular menu that we’ve tried have been close-your-eyes-and-go-mmmh good and it’s a lovely space to sit in. Highly recommend!

Dough Heads makes the best pizza I have ever eaten. The sour dough base is perfectly balanced between light and chewy, the toppings are fresh and beautiful - the Tartiflette and House Favourite are our favs. We're so excited they've opened a bistro so we can spend more of our lives eating their pizza 🍕♥️

From Pizza Bianchi’s to Bertha’s to G Bros. When it comes to sourdough pizza, we’ve tried them all. Let me tell you - none of them come close to this place. Had high expectations for the dough having read about the 72hr fermentation period and I can confidently say it does not disappoint. Light, airy and full of bubbles. Pizzas are topped with a delicious tomato sauce (that actually tastes fresh) and just the right amount of mozzarella. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive and the restaurant is cosy and relaxed. Absolutely recommend. 👏

Genuinely excellent. We had the European Hot and the House Favourite, both were right up there shoulder to shoulder with the best pizzas in Bristol. Fantastic toppings with a perfectly elastic and crispy crust, and the garlic parmesan dipping sauce was the perfect way to polish off the leftovers. This will be a regular delivery for us from now on!

Let me tell you something, and when I say this, do not take it lightly... I know more than a thing a thing or two about pizza. (Having what you could describe as a healthy addiction to the pizza of Bristol.) This is hands down the best pizza in Bristol. It just transformed my Saturday from a 6/10 to a 10/10. The name fits the description, perfect stretchy soft dough, it really is for dough heads and is dough-licious! Not only is there banging pizzas, they also have amazing handmade cocktails. I tried plum and cardamom which was delightful. They even gave us complimentary churros, which were so sweet and cimamony - the perfect end to our evening.

One of the best Neopolitan pizzas ever, with touches that raise them well above the norm! Now had both the Smoky Anchovy and the European Hot. Light and delicious base, beautifully cooked and packed with flavour. The garlic parmesan dip is obligatory. The garlic bread and smoked olives are delightful extras, and the churros and wonderful choc sauce an indulgent dessert. Well worth trying if you like the sound of these, you will be going back for more!

A fantastic addition to the BS5 area currently at home in Bristol Spirit. Pizza dough was tasty, very light and cooked perfectly. I tried the Veggie and the European Hot and both of them were delicious. The garlic mayo dip was great for finishing off the crusts, and the smoked olives were a really nice little side dish. Such an amazing pizza for a decent price. I had the European hot and my partner had the Margherita with smoked olives and they were both delicious. Dough was perfect and the sauce tasty, staff super friendly too. Can’t get any better! See you guys again soon.

There's good competition in BS5 for pizza, but I think dough heads may be top of the pile. The base is incredible, flavour and texture both. Quality and quantity in toppings do not come up short either. Reasonably priced and service with a smile, what more can you ask for. Thank you

Wow, that was super scrummy! Feeling very full as usually leave most of the crust but it was much too nice to leave! Really didn't have room for the churos after but somehow still managed to enjoy one!
