As a vegetarian/vegan itās often tricky to find something nice to eat, the cabbage was a bit tasteless and according to the menu was served with sweetcorn and kale, both of these may as well not have be there, too tiny to taste and for the cost there should have been more, I wonāt be rushing back sadly, the server was lovely though.

The manager was very rude the drinks are expensive and the staff often bring the wrong coffees and if you ask for a normal cup and they bring a paper one out and you point this out they are "to busy " to change it basically you end up waiting over 30 Mon for a expensive coffee which may or may not be the right one

My family and I used to go regularly for lunch , lovely haddock and chip meal , Ā£15 but well worth it . Now new owners the food is terrible, Ā£15 for a piece of frozen fish you can get at Iceland for Ā£5 for 4 pieces and a handful of chips , flat beer not much better . Itās such a shame , the only local pub and will probably be shut down soon , had such high hopes , what a disappointment

The idea of outdoor dinning under canvass in what is still, a relatively uncertain time, is a blessing, and this open space is super! Part of the genius idea by Breaking Bread events company, we see a couple of really strong 'pop up' restaurants from Bristol's well loved Pony & Trap, Bianchis, Team Love, The Love Inn & Pipe & Slippers. As this is the last month for this excellent pop up, only HomeGrown and Pipe & Lovers remain, & for a per-Theatre treat, it was a good meal. Service is OK, very friendly, if a little slow. The menu is tight, but OK, with your standard, Burger & Chips, Fish & Chips, a veggi Burger, Curry and Sausage & Mash, nothing outstanding, but nothing bad, and it's clear all ingredients are of quality, & I imagine locally sourced. For a Pre Theatre dinner, this was a good option, good to experience, friendly staff and if on a warmer, sunnier day, I imagine, very popular. Well done on creating yet another brilliant Bristol Foodie destination.
