Fui a comer en familia, probé la hamburguesa del mes y fue increíble. Recomendaría encarecidamente el Millhouse, muy buena comida a buen precio

Mi familia y yo solíamos ir regularmente a almorzar, encantadora comida de eglefino y patatas fritas, 15 libras, pero bien vale la pena. Ahora los nuevos propietarios de la comida es terrible, £ 15 por un trozo de pescado congelado que se puede conseguir en Islandia por £ 5 por 4 piezas y un puñado de patatas fritas , cerveza plana no mucho mejor. Es una pena , el único pub local y probablemente se cerrará pronto , tenía tantas esperanzas , qué decepción

MY WIFE AND I TEND TO GO HERE FOR LUNCH MOST WEEKS. IT STARTED AS A ONE OFF AND VERY QUICKLY BECAME A "LOVELY" HABIT AND WE HAVE NEVER HAD A "BAD" MEAL. LEE AND LEXIE ARE EXCELLENT HOSTS AND ARE ALWAYS WELCOMING AND ACCOMODATING WITH THE FOOD AND DRINK. NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM AND IT IS APPRECIATED BY US AND OUR FRIENDS. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE HIGHLY ENOUGH, LONG MAY IT CONTINUE..

The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is excellent and we always have lots of vegetables and the Sunday roast is excellent value for money and the desserts are delicious thank you Lee and Lexi and all the staff

Great food. Very friendly staff and had an excellent meal. Well worth a go if you are passing. Far better quality and value for money, than the restaurant across the road. .

We were served by Chardonnay and she was lovely !! The drinks were really good. Super fast service as well!

Not been in this pub for many years but wanted somewhere close to where I live for a roast dinner to celebrate my birthday with friends and we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely fabulous meal with a vast array of vegetables to accompany the meat and roasters with a lovely dessert included in the price. Staff were brilliant, welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be back in the not too distant future

Really nice, welcoming little pub and the food was excellent. I'm Greek Cypriot and the Beef Stifado was really authentic and tasty. So much so that I mentioned it to the waitress to pass on my comments to the chef. We also had the lasagne which was really good. Can recommend both. They have a daily specials board and the pub was clean and tidy with a 5 star food hygiene rating. We were dropping in for lunch after going to Bristol Airport to drop off family.

S0 sorry for posting this but the bar team are full on and help full but the facilities are so sub standard the toilets are nothing but disgusting, this been fagged up previously, 12 of my family left with out ordering food and wont be going back the pub needs sorting

During the pademic myself and Layra became carers for Judy our next door neighbour and because of this she treated use to a meal at our local pub the "Mill House". It's a dog friendly pub so we could take " Sully" our soft coated weaten terrier. The food and the staff were fantastic but twice some of the customers had a go at me because they don't like dogs. So! WHY are they eating at a dog friendly pub.

Clean and tidy, but this is a pub with gaming machines and a radio permanently on with adverts. Chicken curry was very nice with really good chips, but, asked for a tonic with slice of lemon and got a tonic with lime juice ugh. Asked for a pint of Blackthorn Dry cider, REVOLTING. Had no smell or taste of cider, with a peculiar vinegary aftertaste. Could not drink this, when mentioned, I was offered an exchange, but declined. Good prices on the menu. Lasagna had too much cheese on top and wasn't really the right type of cheese. Curry had no sides of any description.

We had a fabulous meal at The Mill House. Great value for money, staff were efficient and friendly. The manager Peter was friendly and checked we were all ok. Great asset to the company.

Proper pub for watching the football or having a bit of food. 10/10 for the food and 10/10 for a pint. Great pub with great staff who’ve all been their a while which normally means it’s well run! 🙌

We chose this pub for our first Sunday lunch out for a while,(because of pandemic) as we were visiting a garden nearby. It was disappointing. Firstly they had no pineapple juice or tomato juice which is unusual for a pub. Also no cranberry sauce! Our waitress did not listen to what we said. We ordered one coffee and got two. ( not sure we paid for two). We asked for no gravy on our plates and no Yorkshire pudding with the chicken, all of which was ignored. The food was virtually cold as were the plates and dishes! However, the chef/landlord did come over and apologise, apparently something had got turned off in the kitchen and he hadn't realised. He did offer to reheat/replace our meal but we were halfway through it by then. Had it been hot it would have been lovely! There were loads of different veg and my husband said his beef was the best he'd ever had! I wasn't too keen on the beef gravy with my chicken though, especially as it had bits of beef in it. So hopefully that might have been a one off, but not sure we'll be going there again. Good Covid precautions except that the waitress who brought our food out was not wearing a mask, but maybe she was exempt.

Had a pre ordered (collection) Sunday lunch which was one of the best we’ve had , lots of fresh veg and soft, tender lamb with tasty gravy, all piping hot and delicious! Highly recommended!

The place was very clean and tidy.The sunday roast was possibly the worst i have ever had.Everything had just come out of the microwave . Nice place to stop for a drink. Not a place to enjoy a meal.

We have been to lunch here(as my sister lives nearby)several times and have always had lovely meals. Always been well cooked food,plenty of it,looks as good as it tastes. If we lived a bit nearer we would use more often. NO complaints whatsoever!

Un agua dulce y gaseosa.Dos de nosotros decidimos comer huevos y patatas con jamón y un brunch.El jamón era un verdadero Gammon, grueso y una buena porción. El huevo frito estaba perfectamente preparado y las patatas fritas estaban cortadas y parecían papas reales. Eran tan gruesos que solo acababan de terminar en el medio y podrían haberlo hecho con unos minutos más de cocción.Servido con una buena porción de guisantes, fue una comida clásica de pub. Bien presentado y a un precio razonable. (No pagué, así que no tengo la factura pero era menos de 9).El brunch también fue enorme y tenía todos los ingredientes esenciales.Dos salchichas gruesas bien cocinadas y sabrosas. Dos rebanadas de tocino, dos croquetas de patata, dos triángulos de pan frito, algunos champiñones frescos, un tomate asado y un huevo frito. Con dos rebanadas de morcilla y una mano llena de papas fritas.Este fue un desayuno bien preparado, bien presentado a un precio razonable.Recomendaría esta pequeña belleza.

Estaba con mi familia e íbamos a cenar al asado y el chef fue muy grosero y dijo que no podía molestarse o que no tenía tiempo para cocinar nada y estaba hablando con el personal muy groseramente. SIN DUDA, no volveré allí otra vez y fue un mal servicio y comida.

Reservamos una mesa con anticipación por teléfono para el almuerzo del domingo, cuando llegamos no nos conocían. Nos sentamos y tiramos algunos cubiertos, pusimos la mesa nosotros mismos y pellizcamos algunas esteras de otra mesa, pensamos que todavía nos quedaríamos aunque no nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos.Preguntamos si podíamos pedir del menú principal y del asado, y la señora de la tierra nos dijo que podíamos.Fui al bar y pedí dos cenas asadas, para que me dijeran que no quedaba asado a la 1. 30, aunque habíamos reservado. La dama de la tierra tuvo unas palabras con el chef y luego tuvieron asados!Fui a pedir a mis dos hijos, algo del menú regular, cuando el chef gritó que no tenía tiempo para cocinar del menú, ¡una hamburguesa con queso! !En este punto nos fuimos, sin disculpas, solo para encontrar cuando regresamos a nuestra mesa, un minuto más tarde, 2 cenas de asados, los que estaban equivocados se sentaron allí.Incluso si nos hubiéramos quedado, habrían estado fríos, ya que ni siquiera habían pedido bebidas. Parecía que estaban enchapados en segundos de sobrantes, pero no podían acomodar un menú básico.La grosería del chef no es lo que necesita para dirigir un negocio exitoso. Una pena, ya que somos locales e hicimos el esfuerzo de caminar hasta el pub y confié en que fuera un habitual. Situado en un área familiar que podría tener éxito si fuera atendido por personas serviciales y amables, una pena y un desperdicio de pub.Llevé a los niños a un viaje improvisado a Weston en busca de pescado y papas fritas, donde el personal del restaurante que visitamos estaba feliz por nuestro negocio.No volverá a visitarlo y le dirá a la gente que evite, a menos que quiera que le digan lo que tiene permitido comer.

Visited my daughter who is a student at Bristol University and chose to eat here as it is close to her halls. Made very welcome by the landlady and the Sunday lunch was brilliant and a good price. Great selection of fresh vegetables, proper gravy!, and beautifully cooked meat all cooked by her husband. Friendly atmosphere and we will definitely go back again.

Llevamos a nuestra tía e hija de 101 años a un almuerzo de cumpleaños. Hay dos pasos para subir, pero todo lo demás al nivel, incluidos los baños. Como era su cumpleaños, todo el personal la hizo muy bienvenida al ser atenta, educada y servicial. Había una excelente variedad de comidas en el bar, que incluían hamburguesas gigantes apiladas, hamburguesas crujientes de verduras, lasaña, papas fritas excelentes, una barra de ensaladas, deliciosas migajas, tartas de manzana, crema y natillas frescas, café también bueno, otros clientes estaban cómodos y Todo el pub tenía un ambiente agradable, también una buena relación calidad-precio.

¡Mi amigo y yo decidimos tomar un día para comer y elegimos al azar The Millhouse! Qué gran decisión. Absolutamente deliciosa comida casera, ambos tuvimos la lasaña y el pan de ajo - esto vino con una barra de ensaladas gratis. Compartimos un gran plato de papas fritas y tomamos un café cada una. Todo para menores de 13 años. 00 cada uno. Sin duda volveremos. El Millhouse tiene un ambiente humilde y los propietarios eran encantadores. Muchas gracias. :)

Este es un lugar agradable y relajado que ofrece comida popular y de alta calidad a precios razonables. La comida de la carne asada, un "especial" el miércoles a la hora del almuerzo, fue realmente excelente, muy tierna, con mucha salsa y verduras sabrosas, no una oferta poco cocinada y dura típica de muchos pubs y restaurantes en estos días. El gammon era de estándar similar. ¡Muy recomendado!

I lived not far from the pub. Tonight (tuesday) they have bingo night, I thought it is quiz night, they told it is on thursday instead. Nice place to know people here, staff is friendly and I love it.

Ella dijo que el personal era servicial y que las comidas estaban bien cocinadas y tenían un precio razonable. Creo que el domingo debe ser diferente personal y menú diferente. Podrías tener el almuerzo del domingo o el almuerzo del domingo, así que la única opción era entre carne de res, cerdo, pollo o nueces asadas. Tenía pollo pero solo había dos rebanadas muy pequeñas que parecían venir del pecho del pollo. Una porción adecuada para un niño! ! Había dos papas asadas muy anémicas y suaves. Acompañado de zanahorias y brócoli y guisantes muy cocidos y muy cocidos. ¡Un Yorkshire empapado que parecía que había viajado desde allí ese día y necesitaba revivir! Una jarra de salsa (instantánea) por el precio de 9. 95. Los platos, 4 de 6 que todavía estaban 3/4 lleno, se dejaron sentados en nuestra mesa durante años hasta que pedimos un té y cafés. Luego fueron recogidos, pero nadie preguntó si la comida estaba bien, aunque debe haber sido obvio que no fue así. No me gustaba quejarme porque no estaba pagando y estábamos con personas con las que nos reuníamos por primera vez. Sin embargo, estaba avergonzado de haberlo recomendado como punto de encuentro a medio camino. La próxima vez les dejaré que la otra parte elija el lugar para comer y espero que tengamos una mejor experiencia.

Sólo un salto en para una copa rápida durante un paseo, la primera vez en mucho tiempo.

El Mill House es muy inteligentemente hechas y los alrededores son bastante agradable, aunque más corporativos que tradicional. Las mesas están bien espaciadas y el nivel de ruido es mejor que muchos de los lugares (aunque no estaba muy lleno el domingo visitamos). El personal es agradable y eficiente.

Had a very good main course eventually, worth waiting for, but then told our ice cream would be 25 minutes!

A very friendly pub with a warm welcome and great food. The quiz is entertaining on a Thursday and for all you X factor hopefuls Karoke is always fun on a Friday. Sunday lunch is good.

Hay muchos lugares que no comida de pub que hoy en día tienen mucho donde elegir. Lo que buscan es coherente con buen servicio. Hemos usado el Mill House ahora en tres o cuatro ocasiones. We came across The Mill House and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome, the varied menu and the reasonable prices. Service was excellent and the food was delicious = great discovery whilst house hunting in the area.

Visited for a meal with friends. The menu is OK, no Mediterranean food as advertised. Quite good value. Only one real ale available which was disappointing and no desserts available after 20;30. Could do better one feels.

Some friends introduced us to "The Mill", food was good, warm welcome on arrival. Order taken very efficiently and not long to wait for our lunches to appear, but what made our visit even better was the position of the Inn. High up overlooking the Bristol Channel. Tide was low and we had never realised how many huge sand banks appeared on a low tide. Our friends said that on occassions you can sit at the tables in a glass cladded dinning room and watch the ships sailing up to Avonmouth. We chose a blue sky sunny day and the view was superb looking over to Wales. Definitely be visiting this establishment with other friends again,

Haven't been in the millhouse for years but just been for a Sunday evening pint. Really nice decor, good music, friendly staff and sunday lunch looked lovely. Went with children and they were welcomed. Also noticed high chair if with younger ones. Will definitely be back

This pub has undergone a makeover with new seating, carpets and a new menu and I would recommend you give it a try.We went on a Saturday lunchtime as we live close and thought we would try it.The food said homemade burger and it was a homemade burger and very nice, there were lots of families having lunch which was nice to see.

We stumbled across this pub whilst visiting Bristol. The day was a miserable one 'wet and windy' so the selection of warming dishes on the menu was exactly what we were after. The service was friendly and fast and the food tasted great also there was loads of it! My son had the steak and said it was amazing. My daughter had the risotto but there were so many mushrooms in it she couldn't eat them all and left some on the side. Because of this the staff actually came to check everything was OK and if we liked it, which just goes to show how seriously they take customer satisfaction.

Lovely clean pub and a very fine welcome. Then - well my wife had her lovely soup but they seemed to think the soup should be followed by my bacon and egg sandwich. How could they not notice there were two of us? Oh dear - and in a little a very fine hamburger with an egg, chips and salad arrived - soup had been finished by then. There appeared to be only 6 people in for lunch - so what was going on? Anyhow they are lovely and I got twice as much food for half the price! Loos lovely and so nice to have a generous portion of butter NOT wrapped up in silver paper!

Absolutely lovely pub friendly staff and Sarah the chef makes amazing delicious food! Wouldn't change a thing! Karaoke on a Friday night is a laugh! Would recommend the spring rolls and the carbonara!

Wow amazing fantastic 3 words I thought I'd never use for the Mill House. A massive well done on the refit. The pub finally feels friendly,safe and clean again. I came in for dinner the other night and all I can say is superb. Me & My partner ordered our food and the 2 Ladies running the bar were very friendly and helpful we were very surprised with the quality of food for a 'pub lunch'. The locals were great to listen to always seem to be laughing and happy. I think this pub jas turned a corner and now it's more welcoming to not just locals but walkers and passers by. Well done and keep up the good work.

Wow!! What a transformation and congratulations to Roy and Pressy in making the Mill House Pub the place to eat,drink and relax again.Regardless of whether you want a great Illy coffee, Thai or fine British cuisine at very reasonable prices or just a quick beer after work, the smile and reception is great, (How do you both remember everyone's names after the first hello??).It a relief, if that's not a pun, to finally see the back of those horrible toilets and to have a new clean environment, I sure the ladies will agree. It's something that's often overlooked on these re-fits but shows the thought that gone into attracting and pleasing new customers.I know it's nearing the end of the summer now but with the addition of the lower patio seating along with the garden I'm looking forward to many sunny times sat out in the early evening sunshine sipping a Skinny Latte.The earlier opening is great with free WiFi for the working morning coffee break.Yep great all round job, try it and enjoy the new MillHouse. Quite obviously no money has been spent on this place, we went there on our way into town to get a hot drink and a bowl of chips. The landlord stated that they don't serve chips without buying a sandwich and proceeded to tell us to go to a fish and chip shop if we wanted chips and walked off. We were shocked by this but learnt shortly after that its a very english pub if you get my drift. Would not recommend and avoid at all cost!!!!!
