Great night, great music, but a bit pricey for us

We went here while having a walk around the harbourside. The food was lovely, couldn’t fault it. We went for the loaded jerk chicken fries and there was just the right proportion of chicken to chips. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the service was very slow. I think we waited about 15 minutes just to get those chips to takeaway, and it was quite quiet in there that day too.

The chicken is crispy and expertly spiced on the outside but juicy and succulent on the inside. The chips are good but come in small portions and the cheesy chips are downright disgusting. They just throw a bit of cold grated cheddar in the box and call it cheesy chips. The cheese doesn’t even melt it just stays cold and tastes stale.

Starters Lamb tikka Tandoori chicken Meat samosa Main Chicken vindaloo Lamb bhuna Mixed grill jalfrezi (vindaloo strength) Sundries Garlic rice Coconut rice Boiled rice Keema naan Ordered the above as a takeaway and I have to say it was extremely good. The last time I ordered from this restaurant was over 9 years ago and I don't know how many owners ago. I stopping ordering from here because the curry was always greasy. However, with the new owners I decided to try it again and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was top notch, and the price was excellent. I was also glad that they were not shy in adding spices to increase the heat level of their dishes.

while i've had better mixed wrap elsewhere, i had to pay more for it. this place is AMAZING quality with respect to what they charge, hence 4 out of 5. will be returning often!

Nice food. Nice owner. Got a free garlic bread. The free sauce is a nice thing too. Really nice people, doing a great job.
